Broke down on the way home to VA on route 30 today and they were wonderful to work with. Very reasonably priced towing after getting extremely high quotes from other nearby companies. Had enough room in the cab for both of our kids and our two small pups. Kind and personable! Would highly recommend!
Oh my gosh, they saved us!!!! We were traveling from pa to south Carolina. Our alternator failed. They took our emergency repair within an hour. Staff was efficient and quick. The owner was an amazing individual,he even went over our travel plan and adjusted our route to save traffic tie ups, time and money, it was a fantastic route change. we would recommend this business over and over and over again.so very grateful!!!!!!
My car started acting up while traveling on 99. Thankfully I made it to Bedford. My family recommended Hickney’s, so thankfully my car made it to their parking lot. It was late at night and they were closed, so I left the car.
The mechanics were so helpful, the price was very reasonable and after a thermostat and an oil filter, my car was good as new.

I had my F250 in for a cracked manifold exhaust leak and it took them a few days to get it done but the work was clean and well done. I will go to no other place but them for any repairs.
On a long car trip, my undercarriage cover came loose and was hitting the road. I stopped in to get the metal bent back up and bolted back in place. I loved how they fit me in quickly and cheaply. Also, the person at the desk gave me some great advice on the next leg of my journey!
I called Hickey’s when I blew my tire at the Bedford Turnpike exit. They said they didn’t have tires in stock immediately, but offered to help anyway. In the end, they directed me to another company to purchase the tire. The other company refused to put the tire on for me, but Hickey’s was willing to take me immediately to put the replacement tire on. They helped me tremendously when I was in a desperate spot and charged very little to do it. Stellar people!
Traveling from out of state and hit a deer on the highway. Everyone very supportive while checking if my car was drivable, it was not. They drove me to a rental agency and towed my car to nearby auto body shop.

Very good and quick repairs but customer service requires more friendliness. SHOCKED TO SEE EVERYONE FROM THE WORKERS TO CUSTOMERS WAS NOT WEARING A MASK DURING COVID-19!! Also, the mechanic installed a wrong part and the car broke down again after 3 months later. The same issue!
My car had a(small)weird problem, very hard to explain to anyone without people looking at me like I was crazy. (Turn signals worked every once in a while unless I turned on my dome lights or just messing with the switch in some fashion) however it would always function when it was time to prove it. Well, they figured it out, and the bill was a lot better than expected. Will definitely return for any troubles on my car
I had a tire blowout on the PA turnpike late in the day on Friday. Hickey’s tried to find a tire to help me get to my destination and helped me remove the damaged tire. Excellent service- they went out of their way to help me out.
I am very thankful for the service I received at Hickeys!! I had a flat tire on I-99 and they were there quickly. Service was excellent!! They put plugs in the holes in my tire and away I went!! I will definitely be going back there!! Thank you guys for squeezing me!!
Had an issue with the vehicle right before Turnpike entrance. Pulled over searched for local garages near me and I called Hickeys to see if they could check it out. He said bring it over. After finishing up what was in the bay they took off front tire and found a bad wheel bearing that needed repaired and bad front brake pads. They called around found 1 part available (high priced parts supplier) BUT Hickeys fixed the Caddy and got me on my way without an appointment. Very nice and professional people. My Mom & I were traveling home & had a wheel bearing issue. Had to stop for the night. A different garage was suggested & when they couldn’t accommodate us, they referred us to Hickey’s. From the moment we arrived, we were wonderfully taken care of. Kay was kind enough to share her knowledge of Bedford and the welcoming businesses we could visit in town while waiting for the repairs to be completed. Everyone we met in this scenic place was eager to share stories and welcomed us like family. Thank you for making what started as a concerning situation into a much-needed charming morning. The guys had us back on the road in the afternoon and we made it to NW Indiana safe & sound that night. Can’t wait to come back for a visit. Was driving through from Virginia to Michigan. My car started making a squeaking noise. These guys were great. They diagnosed my problem quickly knowing I was on the road. My oil idiot light was also on and they all noticed and checked oil also( it was fine). Fixed my car and had me on the road in a few hours and I thought the price was good too. By the way, I am a woman who was driving alone. I would highly recommend them. Thanks guys...was in Michigan by midnight, safe and sound.
Definitely a five star business - Hickeys took great care of us this week when we broke down three hours from home with a van full of kids. He took a look at the car right away, ordered the parts we needed, and even dropped us off safely at a hotel for the night. Great mechanic and a great guy.
