Best antique store out there! I always go here now with my grandparents anytime we come over. Wonderful selection of books, pocket knives, cameras, and a very niche hobby of mine, collecting old military clothing. I just wish there were some vintage sports trading cards. Maybe I’m just not looking hard enough. Anyways, fliippin’ awesome store. I love you guys!

Lots of stuff to look at. Just bought a few things due to the specialized things I still need after 35 years of antique collecting .

what’s not to love? absolutely one of my top 2 favorite antique stores in the area. the store is clean, the staff is kind, and the selection is almost never ending!

If I could rate my experience zero stars I would. I have been coming here for almost 20 years since I was a child and never have had such disrespect in my life there up until two weeks ago. I collect antique clothing and resell sometimes, I saw a dress that I was interested in and it was marked super high(an amount I couldn’t make anything off of if I tried to resell) and the dress wasn’t anything outrageously decorative, it was just a basic mid 1910s silk house dress she added some beading to to make it her Sunday best, so I did what you’re supposed to do and go ask the ladies up front to see if the seller could do any better. Well you would’ve thought I committed the greatest offense to mankind by asking that question, the First Lady asked me twice if I’m sure that I wanted to do this as if I had lobsters crawling out of my ears. She ended up shuffling me to this other woman who was way worse. She was dealing with another customer and the person I was waiting to hear back from called her and she said to this lady in line after picking up the call “don’t you hate insulting offers” not knowing I was right there behind her to hear it (which I’m not sure if you’re aware but that’s terrible customer service skills, a worker of an “establishment” belittling someone’s question and trying to gain clout and relevancy from the peanut crowd is wholly base and unimpressive to where she shouldn’t be at the counter). so I spoke up and said “oh you mean my offer?” and she pursed her lips and got this whole holier than thou attitude and effectively asked why I’m trying to screw her venodrs! I kindly tried to explain that as a reseller I have to make some money off of items and I wouldn’t even get the 195 for said dress if I listed it so that’s why I offered x amount for it which in terms of plainness and basic construction, that’s a fair price for me, and if it sits here any longer on a hanger it has a higher likelihood of being damaged by other customers wanting to look through things (I’ve had this happen before when I’ve had booths, it happens inevitably) and this lady did not like the fact that someone was trying to explain something to her that she wasn’t as informed on. She quickly retorted that it’s great Edwardian (which it’s not Edwardian since that era ended in 1909-1910 and this dress was 1913-1916) and that I should effectively have more respect when all I did was ask someone if they could look into getting a better price on an item; which I thought is what you’re supposed to do at an antique shop. I am not a bad or unreasonable person and I tried to have a professional dialogue with these people who were automatically discrediting of my knowledge and experience, fully uninterested in anything I had to say or offer and so much condescendence and vitriol from such old women.

Well, it's... something. Short story, if you have sensory issues, this place is overstimulation central and very chaotic, even for an antique place. Prices range from bonkers to totally reasonable. Labyrinthean, confusing sections organized with no logic, only an eye for guaranteed visual overwhelm. Random bits and bobs strewm about in such concentration, you feel constantly on guard with each step. Don't touch that railing! It's covered in fragile china. And the place feels like it was built by someone who never quite heard of a construction code, so it's always a bit weebly and wobbly. A vestibular funhouse. And some of the most animal brain stimulating liminal spaces that will summon your most primal fears. I looked into the uncanny valley and came back a new person. I was interested in vinyls, and had do a scavenger hunt for randomly organized stashes amongst the chaos and winding maze paths. I saw new levels of fear, personal growth, catharsis, and collected a few reasonably priced relics along the way. After all, it's the adventure that's the treasure, I think? Someday, I may return. But for now, I will reflect on the there and back again and the white rabbit I followed there.

My first time selling to an antique store and I’m so glad it was Josh that I decided to go with. For many reasons. He was VERY nice and VERY helpful. He explained to me how it works and after sending my photos to him he got back to me in a timely manner with a price and a price I was hoping for. Where as I’m still waiting for others to reply! ? He also was very flexible with a time frame for me to meet him. It’s been ages since I’ve been to this store. For the reason being I haven’t been to any antique store in years. I forgot how much I loved this one. It’s set up so well. Very easy to get around without worrying about knocking things over. Not cramped at all like other stores. One more thing I’d like to say is that the negative comments I’ve read about this store are BS in my opinion and sounds like people who are probably impossible to please no matter what you do. But leaving negative comments could be totally unnecessary if those folks addressed the problem while they were there. It’s ain’t easy dealing with the public. It’s even harder to succeed in the small business world. Social media has made it to easy for us to be rude and mean! And Just remember it’s someone’s livelihood you’re effecting and we’re all human and nobodies perfect. Anyway Thanku again Josh. I’m glad I got to deal with you and your business.

Nice space, lots of variety. However it is very overpriced compared to other antique malls in the area.

One of coolest antique shops I have been to in western Pennsylvania. Drove past this place a dozen times, today I stopped in, and was amazed. Way bigger inside than it appears from the outside.

Wowza. Great antique store! Ask for the "35% off discount you gave to the funny guy from Cincinnati." You can ask, but you won't get it, because I didn't get it either. Mostly all antiques with some froo-froo/bricabrac. Worth the trip.

They just recently stopped taking checks which does not match the signs posted in the rooms but it is by the register. Upcharge for a credit card like so many places. *to correct my mistake, there is a discount for cash purchases.

This is the best antique store that we’ve been to in sometime. And it was open until five on Sunday! The store was very neat, not so cluttered that you couldn’t see things, and very good prices on most things. So many rooms to look through. It’s really big, with something for everyone inside. There are not crafts, not flea market items, not clothes, just vintage, antiques, a lot of primitives, and beautiful things! The general store is an antique in itself. Just Beautiful inside. All the wooden floors creak when you walk except the brick one! This is now my favorite place to go. There’s so much to see, I thought that I covered everything, and the next day, today, I need to go back and check!

First time here I spent 3 solid hours looking through their extensive 2 story + side building shop. I've never seen such a huge antique store! Great stuff & friendly staff!

I had a great time walking down memory lane. I found a couple things that were on my wish list. Very nice staff. I’ll be back!

Wow my family has lived in wexford for 25 years and I had never been inside this store! I can’t believe this gem of a place has been hiding in plain sight! It is absolutely filled with cool decorative pieces, historic artifacts, funky clothes and retro showstoppers. What I like most about this shop is that it is so well cared for and well maintained. It’s obvious this place is a treasured family business. I also like that it’s neither a discount thrift shop nor a high end boutique - it’s both and everything in between! Worth the stop for sure!

This store is amazing! My sister and I found tons of great items at very fair prices. The ladies who were working were very nice and wrapped all our glass purchases up securely. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town. Give yourself several hours to go through the store as there is lots to see

Nice variety and well curated. This seems to be more of a free museum rather than a place where people want to sell things as the prices are too high. Perhaps it’s because they are serving an affluent community. Not a single booth sale in the store, which is atypical. There were also no other customers in store, which is telling.

Great assortment of quality antiques. Worth the drive. Be prepared to spend a few hours if you want to see everything. The people at the front desk were nice. Caution - the second floor balcony feels unstable and tilts. The cases rattled a bit when I walked by an I was trying to step lightly.

What a lovely time my family & I had today visiting the Wexford General Store. The staff were very friendly, my kids were treated kindly and the antiques are beautifully displayed, everything is clean and dust free. We will definitely be returning!

Just wanted to thank Josh again for finding me this beautiful Barristerter Bookcase! I called the store and put my name down on their list of (Looking For This Item), and within a couple of weeks Josh, one of the vendors there texted me that he found one just like I was looking for! I’ve been looking for one like this for years and now this beauty is a family heirloom! Thanks Again Josh! Lori, aka Mary. Lol

It's always fun to go treasure hunting here! Wandering around this amazing old building is one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. Prices are reasonable, there's a great variety, and staff are always helpful. I've been going here since I was a little girl and hope to keep going when I'm an old lady. Love this store!

I absolutely am OBSESSED with antiques and vintage things. This is the best place to check out if you are also into older things. It’s organized beautifully, fairly priced and has a A LOT of gems! Friendly staff! Today they have free cucumbers :)

What a great shop! I found so many pretty treasures to take home with me to Florida and the ladies were simply lovely to work with. I will certainly be back!

This place is lovely! Thousands of items, over a dozen sellers, and beautiful organization. I've seen some reviews here or there about how a lot of things are marked as "not for sale" and I can't say they're wrong. I understand why certain display things (shelves) would be NFS, but even just smaller things like vanity mirrors or lamps were NFS. Just a fair warning for anyone visiting, chances are you'll see the perfect piece and it'll have NFS on the tag LOL. Aside from that, it's an amazing store to visit and I can't wait to visit again!

All the good stuff was not for sale. A big let down to think this place has these items just to arrive and be told not for sale. Booooooo! UPDATE TO RESPONSE: The problem is those tin signs are used to get customers in the store. Hence why I even visited in the first place. That’s problem #1 which makes the visit disappointing upon arrival. Problem #2 we weren’t told about a list we could “sign up” for. Problem #3 if it’s a store things should be for sale otherwise it’s a museum.

On a recent visit to the Pittsburgh area, I googled places to visit and one of the results was Wexford General Store Antiques. What a walk back thru time! Such a wonderful old place. ?

I like this store, because one can get real antiques for a logical price. I bought this milk glass acorn light and ordered a new bronze fitter, chain, canopy set online to hang it in my entryway. At the General Store it had the gaudy fitter shown in photo 3. It’s perfect now

Very nice “General Store” vibe. Loads of great antiques. Well stocked, with great variety. The building itself is a fun maze and lends itself to lots of investigation. Nice reading room on second floor. Will be back with more folks.
