No one wants to get their car towed, but when I was in need of a tow I am really glad I called Travis Towing. They responded quickly, arrived faster than I expected, and just made the experience much easier for me. I would highly recommend them.

UNREAL! We’re in from out of town to watch the kiddos play ball, parked in a “visitors lot” and got towed. Apparently, there are spots where you CANNOT park with NO signage stating “no parking”. WE DID NOT KNOW. The small sign inside the building says “visitor parking from 9pm to 7am”. The car got towed just after 9pm (we were in the lot, looking for the car at 9:15pm). Mike & Mark at Marvin’s Towing couldn’t care less, though, and were not helpful at ALL or kind! They were incredibly rude and kept repeating that they charge $315 for the 7 MILE tow. $315!!! Mark, to make matters worse, was talking to us from the other room. He would not show his face! This is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable! Our lawyer will be contacted about this ridiculous matter, as well as the unprofessional behavior of the workers & the outrageous pricing for a 7 mile tow that was a result of bad signage.

Had bad fall in medexpress parking lot and was in hospital and nursing unit for total of a and a 1/2 weeks. Triple aaa would not bring my care home. Tried other agencies and the wanted twice as much money. Travis towing did the job right away at a reasonable price and reasonable amount for time.

My friend had her car ILLEGALLY towed by this place in the middle of the night. She had all of the correct permits/ stickers to be parked in her complex. When she called and went in to get the car back, they were extremely rude to her even though it was their mistake.

What a very honest company. Absolutely happy to have called Travis Towing to get my fiance's car towed from one home to another. He was beyond kind, personable and fast! Times are strange right now with this pandemic, so it was nice to have a stranger treat us like friends. We will use him again for anything else we may need!!! Bonus: he brought his super beautiful pup!

While I wasn’t ecstatic walking into a parking lot to find my car missing, only to then realize there was a sign that warned of towing, I cannot blame Travis Towing. Unfortunately, I unknowingly parked in a friend’s apartment complex and was not warned of any towing. After spending less than 1.5 hours at my friend’s place, I discovered my car wasn’t in the lot. I called the number on the sign right away and was met at the impound the same night. While I was able to get a small reduction in the fee, and wished I could’ve gotten more since it was truly an honest mistake, the situation was handled very well by Travis Towing. The entire transaction from the initial phone call to me leaving the impound was prompt and efficient. I was sent a direct address and warned not to google because different addresses may pop up. I was also told the cost over the phone ahead of time, knowing exactly what to expect when I arrived. Overall, all communication was polite and professional.

The owner answered my call and really helped me. He was not able to tow me due to my location HOWEVER he found the name and number of a another tow company that could possibly help me...and they did!! Thank you Travis towing. I Appreciate the kindness And help in a stressful situation.

Travis was quick and efficient. He took my call with professionalism and communicated the process well. He was able to get to my house in a very short amount of time. He was friendly and understanding of the situation. He even messaged later to check to see if the problem was remedied and wanted to make sure I didnt need further services. I would definitely use him in the future.

Highly recommend, especially in an emergency! Travis came to my rescue when I was stranded with a dead car in the middle of a busy road late at night on the Fourth of July! He was kind and did his best to keep me calm, and kept checking in with me while I waited. Great service, great price, and great guy - he deserves more than 5 stars! Thanks so much, Travis!

I was locked out of my car right as it was starting to snow with my 6 year old and 8 month old. Called Travis and he was there within 10 minutes of us hanging up. Reasonable price and had us back in our car out of the cold in no time. I would definitely use him again!

This company towed my car from a parking lot in carnegie Apartments. I was there for a dinner at friends place. The towing guy picked my car from Washington gardens did not even leave a note. After searching for an hour with the help of local resident called the towing company to find my car. The guy who towed was very rude and used foul languages. And was not accepting card transaction and finally ended up paying 250 dollars in cash. One of the worst experience ever I had. Anyone paid 250? Or is that only me ? Very unprofessional and a rude behavior. I had complained already to the local authorities. With all these things and they were not ready to accept card transactions. Not sure if their receipts are original.

You know it's a great place when they do everything they can to help you avoid the towing cost. They gave me advice on getting my stubborn wheel off and how not to get bent over the barrel at a tire place for replacing all 4 tires

Travis truly saved my night. I had locked my keys in my car, THAT WAS RUNNING. He came quickly, and retrieved my keys for me in less than two minutes. He was a super kind, and literally came to my rescue! So glad I chose him. Thanks again Travis!

Got into an accident on Valentine's Day, downtown, during rush hour. Every tow company I called told me they either could not help me or only could only get a truck to me after 3-4 hours. Called Travis and he was able to have a driver (I think it was a friend of his) be down there within 30 minutes. The whole experience was as hassle free as possible.

If I could give this towing company ZERO Stars I would, this was the worst towing experience ever. They continued to lie to me about when and where I could pick up my car. When they did finally agree to meet me the guy that met with me at the impound lot was extremely rude and extremely argumentative and continue try and argue about everything. This was such a shady and unprofessional experience as well. They would not take a credit/debit card only cash. The website says they are available 24 hours but the guy said come to the impound lot the next day between 8am-9am or maybe 9:30am, just call before you come. Continue misleading information and the tow experience was the WORST EVER!!!!!

Travis is fast and reliable. This is the best experience I have had with a towing company. My girlfriend's car was broken down and needed twice as much work than it was worth. We decided to just scrap it but didn't know where to begin. We called Travis Towing and they told us when they would be available to pick it up and what documents to have ready. He was there right when he said he would be, and took care of the whole thing. It was completely hassle-free, he didn't make us wait around or BS us on prices or anything. I decided to post a review because I saw all these bad reviews from people upset that their cars got towed trying to get back at the injustice of it all by posting a negative review online. It's a towing company. The guy comes and takes cars away. If you need a car taken away or taken to someplace, they're really good at it.

Car was towed a while ago for parking without a visible pass, fair. However, when I called to ask how to pick it up he was rude and made smart remarks. When I went to get it I learned I was being charged for dollies even though they were not needed. It was a front wheel drive sedan that was backed into a spot with the parking brake off. Other tow truck drivers at the impound lot confirmed they were not needed. I called Travis to ask why I was being charged extra for them and he hung up. Called back.. he said some rather unprofessional stuff then threatened that if I wanted my car back I would pay. The people at the impound lot were nice and asked me to put the phone on speaker for a laugh because he is a "heartless s.o.a.b." . After I got the car I called and messaged about something that was wrong and never heard back. I hope others have a better experience with him

This review is based on a negative experience with Travis Towing. They have contracts to tow illegally parked cars from apartment parking lots. My daughters car, who is a tenant of the apartment building, had her car towed at an expense of $200.00. The parking permit was not visible in the front or rear window of the car. Her car is registered with the apartment building. In today's world, with computers, the towing service should have access to a database with the registered vehicles of his contracted apartment parking lots. I am left with the impression, the owner doesn't care about the fact he took money from a college grad student, who had to use Christmas money, she received as gifts to help her with bills. If it seams that I am going for a sympathy angle, I am. I will check with the apartment building owner to see if Travis Towing improves it's procedure of towing registered vehicles. A slight positive note, the owner did waive the $40.00 lot fee, when I asked if he would give my daughter a break. Thanks for responding. Your answer tells me you will not look into finding a better way to handle this problem. Talk to the Pittsburgh parking authority, who has an app that allows you to register your plate in their system, so you are not ticketed for parking illegally. It is something your company could implement with all of your private parking accounts. Yes, my daughters parking permit fell off of her dash, I’m not mad at her. I’m disappointed in the system that failed and stinks. You “prey” on people waiting for them to make a mistake and gouge them with a financial & inconvenient penalty. It would be remiss of me not to take an opportunity to improve the system. We are contacting the apartment owner to discuss how the system could be improved and recommend a more compassionate towing company. As for the bad reviews, show me you are a reputable company, and are willing to work at improving a flawed system that only improves your bottom line, and I will give you a 5 star rating.

I locked my keys in my car at the local cvs. Called and within 15 mins a truck showed up and got me back on track. Gentleman was very courteous and professional. I will tell all my friends to call for their service 24/7

Travis Towing went above and beyond for me when I called this morning. My car broke down. Not only was it 17 degrees outside but I had been in a 15 minute loading zone and was worried about getting a ticket. He answered on the second ring and I informed him of my situation and asked him for a tow. He said he would be there in 20 minutes, however he showed up in just 10 minutes. He was extremely polite, very efficient and professional, and reasonably priced. They will continue to have my business in the future.

The other evening we blew our tire and ended up stranded in a bad area of Pittsburgh around midnight. We were forced to call the police and request help. Travis Towing heard of our situation over his scanner and came to help us. He was incredibly professional and helpful and eased our minds the whole time he was there. He helped to change our tire and got us on our way. I would highly recommend calling Travis Towing for any service he provides.

Travis was very helpful and nice! Not only did he respond in a timely fashion, he offered really helpful advice to help with my car. He's an awesome guy and I would recommend him again.

Tonight was very stressful, after being up from 9am to 3am the following morning, I locked myself out of my car! I called Travis Towing and within 10 minutes they had arrived and helped me to get back on the road! Fast service, fair price, all in all a GREAT experience with Travis Towing! I found out my battery died after I got off work at 2 A.M. I called Travis Towing and he told me someone would be there in 20 minutes. The guy showed up pretty close to 20 minutes and was very courteous, jumped my battery and sent me on my way. I would use them again.

Car broke down getting onto 376, this was the first place I saw on Google Maps. Guy who answered was polite and helpful, had a driver call me back within a few minutes. The driver was very friendly and didn't charge me a fortune. When I asked if he took card or cash, he said he preferred cash. He didn't mind me running over to an ATM and coming back. All in all a pleasant experience (besides breaking down of course).

I was on my way to visit a friend and it was just my 10 year old son and I. I ended up with a flat tire farther away from home than I wanted to be. I was able to find Travis Towing and was very pleased with the service. He was there quicker then they said he would be and was extremely friendly. I of course did not have a spare and he took me to my mechanic closer to my home as I requested. His rates were not crazy expensive either. Thanks for rescuing my son and I!

I was in Pittsburgh on the 4th of July and my car broke down. I Googled a towing service on my phone and found Travis Towing. It was a holiday and when I called Travis Towing, a tow truck arrived very quickly. The man was very respectful and understood I was a woman with children in a place I didn't know very well. He was knowledgeable about the area and helped me make arrangements to get home safely. I just want to say thank you to that polite guy. I really don't know what I would have done if you hadn't come so quickly. Thanks again!
