My car was towed here after an accident, I had to pay $1700 out of pocket, they also added a credit card fee even though we paid with a debit card which was nearly $50. They were not reasonable at all, weren’t flexible either with anything. They are more interested in just getting their money they don’t care about the situation that you are currently in. Do not recommend. They are way overpriced. They only care about the money. And will charge you for stupid things on your account. BEWARE.
I was out hunting and forced off the road by a logging truck. Thankfully I had cell reception and reached Lyndsy. She was an amazing calm voice on the other end of the phone. She saved me money by having me contact the Yamhill County Sheriff's non emergency dispatch so they could block the road from additional trucks while Raine and his crew pulled me out. These guys were courteous kind and consumate professionals! Once they arrived on scene they hooked up my truck and had it out quickly with zero damage. I cannot possibly recommend a better towing company and crew
I’ve used this company before for towing and it was great, so I called them again today for a lockout help, and I’m very disappointed. I was charged $83 for a lockout help that was supposed to come in 30 minutes. I waited for them for about an hour and half, calling back around the one hour mark. Dispatch very coldly told me they were super busy and the driver would be there soon.
About 30 minutes later, I finally got back into my car. The driver was really sweet and helpful, which I’m very grateful for. However, does not make up waiting an hour an half for lockout help and unkind customer service, and is definitely not worth $83.
Made a call, explained my situation, "We will be there in 35 minutes." 30 minutes, Raine shows up, loads her up, and away we went. Thank you to the entire staff! Blessings my friends. ?
I accidently locked my keys in my car, with my dog inside, and the windows all the way up... luckily, I had my phone in my pocket, so I was able to call Dale's. They showed up within 15 minutes and had him out, and they didn't even charge me because it was a first occurrence with them! They helped me out again a few months later, and it was around 75-80$, so I had a spare key made and hid it on my car. I would definately work with them again!
My car went down due to over heating. My insurance app wouldn't load so I called the police department for assistance. They called Gale's Towing, and much to my surprise they were quick to arrive. This was about 8:30 at night. I wish I got the guys name but he was FANTASTIC! He was friendly, had a sweet spirit about him, he was quick and very efficient. Got my car home and unloaded with no issues. Best towing experience I've had in a long time.
My car was towed due to my FAFO behavior. I was very uneasy to call and deal with it. But everyone I interacted with treated me with nothing but kindness. One person stood out though. Brad very patiently explained everything to me, never getting annoyed. I was extremely pleased with my experience. Even though it was a self induced bad day! Thank you Gales Towing and Brad!!!
I used to be a regular customer of gales towing, a number of events have happened while obtaining service from them and I can now no longer in good conscience recommend this company.
1. The driver with the Mohawk is always drunk, he got my truck loaded up and drove 5 miles down the road with the door flying open, despite me being right behind him and blaring my horn while he did it.
2. 100% of the drivers are extremely rude and condescending and treat you like you are stupid or something for needing a tow truck.
3. I recently moved next door to one of the drivers (in the same apartment complex) and he has threatened to tow and impound my vehicles without the managers consent, without me ever even speaking to him before that day.
4. Their driver was mad that I called a different tow company when my apartments had to reseal their parking lot. (The driver was planning on impounding my vehicles instead of towing them to the correct location), therefore I went with a different local company on that day and when the neighbor driver saw that he created a verbal altercation and started threatening to impound my vehicles again.
5. Other local companies are much cheaper and do a much better job. It is no longer worth it financially or service wise to go to gales.
I used to use this company because I thought they were well organized and did a good job, but unfortunately they have proven me wrong.

I was quoted an incorrect price originally but they called back immediately to let me know the difference and to try and see if a closer company may be cheaper, but none of them would help me at all. They were always very nice and professional on the phone, and the gentleman(Raine) helped me quickly and kindly. It was spendy as I do live far away, but worth it and I’d use them again. I so appreciated Gale's Towing, and how it got to me on a rural highway, arriving within an hour. Jesse was competent, courteous, and was willing to engage with me, person to person, instead of acting in a merely transactional way. I appreciate a Company that wants its workers to care, not just to be efficient. Jesse was great and towed my car all the way to my dealership for the repair. Thank you.
Tanner came to my rescue!! So professional & great communicator. Lyndsy at base point at Gales Towing was a delight to work with, as well. After a hot spell in my vehicle, trying many things, they both provided me an air conditioned drive home with my truck in tow??
Amazing service! Kyle help to unlock our car and then when the alarm system would not reset he came back to help to make sure my car was started, and I was taking care of. He did this on 100° day, I was very impressed and very appreciative!
Towing service from Gale’s Towing has always been excellent each and every time I have needed it - as well as their tire repair! One service I would love to see added here in MAC is battery exchange/replacement service. I have use them for multiple serves. Another day I had a tire puncture. The driver helped me select an appropriate size twig to temporarily plug the leak, filled the tire with air and followed me to a tire shop in the nearby town of Newberg - to make sure I arrived safely! That’s great service!
We had a flat tire while on a country drive. Called AAA and Katie from Gale's Towing called us in minutes. She dispatched a truck and within a few more minutes Jose the driver showed up. He took care of everything and we were back on the road in no time. Gale's Towing is great! I recommend them 100%!!
AAA called Gales to assist Us with Our vehicle, I had to get back to work and my wife stayed to meet up with the Tow Truck, she called and shared it was a quick and pleasant experience. Kyle was courteous and efficient. We appreciate you all on the Gales Towing Team, Many Thanks.
Great service. The driver was great to work with and had a great attitude. (Kyle was my driver and he was very nice. Great customer service!) Their service is top notch because they notify you when they are coming and even call you to verify your information. I will recommend Gale's to anyone and every single time.
Dave was super awesome. It was tough getting a bike that was stuck in gear onto the bed, hot and sweaty, too, but Dave was calm and collected. After chatting with him, found out he was a pretty cool guy and I wouldn't mind him as a neighbor. Dave came faster than i had anticipated (40 min) out on Bald Peak Road, and I was to McMinnville, got the bike back in the garage, and cleaned up, within 3 hours from when I first called.
Hope I don't need their services again, but I won't hesitate to call them, if I do!
Dave was amazing and got our RV towed out of a precarious location in the middle of the lane. He expertly secured the vehicle, towed it through some hairpin turns on our country drive, then placed it exactly where I needed it in front of my shop. Seriously skilled, friendly, and excellent customer service. Whatever you pay Dave, add more - he's top notch!
David was an exceptional driver. He was very professional. And very attentive to our needs. Great sense of humor. Very knowledgeable on many subjects. Just a very kind hearted person who obviously does his job well. Very pleased with him.
Steve, as a former employee I will come back for your companies services. I made suggestive sales to the customers and I still do when I see people needing a tow, to get AAA or roadside service on their insurance.
Keep up the good work and I hope to see Brad in your shoes after you retire.
