Was going to get some parts for my car here, but my friend had a bad experience, so nvm. They recently ordered a part, and took a 2 hour drive to go out there and pick it up, only for the part to be DESTROYED. Imagine you allow customers to pay for you to hold a part, just for you to go and ruin it. Absolutely abysmally bad service.

This was my first time purchasing an engine from B&R. Angel made the process easy and I enjoyed talking with him about everything B&R has to offer. I will continue to buy from them whenever I need parts.

What a monumental waste of time and $5! Went in looking for a part for a Chevy express van front seat. Was told to go out in the wrecked auto yard and wait for one of the yard dogs (employees), and oh by the way, costs five dollars to go out to the yard. Waited a half an hour and no one came around. Found one van on it’s way to the crusher, completely gutted. No seats. Got a feeling they knew that all along… no sorry, just a see you later. Hold on to your wallet, all ye who enter here!

So last week, I went to the prairie road B & R auto wreckers for some parts, for the roof on a 2011 Honda pilot. Megan gave me a wonderful deal. I can’t say enough about how Megan helped me. Today, I had to run my wife’s friend to McKenzie willamette hospital for a procedure. I decided to go back to B&R auto wreckers, to try and find a center console top, and an assembly for the front inside dome lights. I found what I thought I needed. Paid $40 for it all and left. While I was waiting for my wife’s friend to get done with her visit at the hospital, I tried to put in the dome lights I purchased. Even though the vehicle was the same parts as my 2011 pilot, the parts had a module that was the wrong size for the left side dome light inside. It was supposed to be the same size as the pilots without the sunroofs, run the exact same for 2009-2015 years of Honda pilots. I originally left there, they gave me a receipt that saya 6 month standard warranty. The Latina lady at the front desk says “did anyone offer you a special price?” I said “no”. So I paid the $40 for the items. $10 for the center console top, $5 environmental fee and $25 for the dome light assembly. So let me circle back. The dome light part inside was the wrong part, when it called for the same part as what I had. I had never pulled my dome lights to even know that the one module was different. But when I checked the parts store, it was the same part number as what I was supposed to pull out of this 2013 pilot that was in the wrecking yard. So I took the piece back, and the same Latina lady said “warranties don’t apply to electronics”. So I walked outside to my car getting ready to leave. Something didn’t sit right with me. So I looked at the warranty 3 times front and back. Nowhere on the front or back, did it say there was a warranty exemption for “electronics”. I walked back in and asked her to show me where it said that on the receipt. She says “it on the sign inside right there”. She pointed to it by the bathroom. So I looked up and read it twice. No where on the sign did it say “electronics” have no warranty. I said “If the receipt doesn’t say that, then your argument does NOT hold water. We argued several times back and forth over this issue. So she walked to the back office, where the office manager was. She came back to the counter and said, “we will refund it THIS TIME.” I looked at her and I said “is your business that hard up for money?” She says “well next time you should make sure you know your vehicle before buying the parts”. I said “oh yeah, guess I will have to start taking pictures of the exact fittings.” She says “20% restock fee”. I said okay, it’s in your receipt so I can’t argue that. So let’s recap. This lady offers a warranty and is snobby about it when I bring it back two hours later. If I owned the business, she would be down at the employment department finding new work. Not to mention that I am fully disabled, and I deal with an illness that disintegrates my spine on a daily basis. But of course, she is all about the money. “Here’s a warranty but don’t bring it back” type of garbage. Not sure her name, but I don’t want to know it. The Eugene B&R auto wreckers have lost all my business. The other employees are great! But apparently they aren’t used to having people try to explain that when the receipt says warranty, it means warranty. If you don’t want to offer a warranty, then don’t put it on your receipts. I don’t even want to attach a photo of my receipt, as it will make her and the business look horribly bad because it’s nowhere in there showing a “electronics” exemption for warranty. Like they don’t honor their word. Me asking if they are hard up for money, just to then toss back in my face that I should know my vehicle. I’m no mechanic but at least I have integrity, unlike this employee. It’s sad. All the outside employees are so nice, helpful, and courteous. The Hispanic gentleman at the counter inside, he is great! So are the other employees. But, it might not be much money, but my business is lost there.

I always buy my parts from Mitch Aguilar and have for many years. B and R is the best place to buy parts and they are very lucky to have Mitch working for them! He is always helpful and finds the best parts! He also follows up to make sure you get your parts and makes sure everything goes smoothly. If you need parts make sure you call Mitch he is the best!!

Mitch Aguilar is and has been the best person if you need parts. He will always be my go to person and I recommend you only use Mitch he will take care of you every time!!! Thank you Micth for all her help!!

Chase has been great. Went above and beyond helping me build this truck for my sons 18th birthday. 2 months later after being rear ended he did it all over again. Sourcing parts from all over the place and doing it in a timely fashion. Couldn't have done it without him. Thanks Chase

B&R in Eugene always seems to have what I need and at a reasonable value. Megan has been very helpful in my parts searches and I look forward to doing more business here in the future.

Joshua Hale at B&R is a top notch sales professional with only the best service and communication. I needed an engine and he found it quick. Provided all of the info I requested and it was an easy call to make that purchase. He's the absolute best and my go to should I ever need anything. I tell everyone I know just to call him or email.

I needed a part for my 2005 focus and B&R came through, I was working with Frank and he was a very good guy and made the whole process a breeze. If I ever need parts I know who to go back to.

5+ Stars for Chase. He has taken care of me and my business for the last couple years. Easy to get a hold of through text, call, or email. Has always sold me good quality engines and transmission outlasting their warranty and my expectations. Has successfully found hard to get parts for me that I haven’t been able to get anywhere else in or out of country. Can’t give this guy credit enough, I only go through him when doing business with B&R.

I went into B&R looking for parts for my old Dodge truck, and Megann was extremely helpful in helping me find the parts that I needed. She was even able to help me find parts that I didn't even know the name of. She was able to figure out what I needed just based on my description of the parts I needed. Thanks Megann!!!

Waited two weeks for the part which I ordered from Josh which turned out to be wrong now I've been waiting since the 15th of December for my money back which I was told I would have back before Christmas and still nothing. I owned Big Lews towing and recovery in NC delt with plenty of junk yards and never had this type of issue. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ B & R Auto Wrecking in Eugene gave me an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and when it came time to pick up my car, the tow truck driver was polite, kind, and very accommodating, even with my tricky driveway. They offered a fair price, and I like knowing my car’s parts will keep other vehicles rolling around Oregon. Great customer service all around!

Won’t be back. $5 just to get in. Then, they don’t even apply it towards the parts you purchase. It’s none refundable even if they don’t have the parts you need. You have to wait in line to check in and it takes forever because of their process which could literally take one minute but instead takes twenty! Same with checking out. So my hour before they closed turned into, you got a half hour. Oh geez thanks! . On top of that it’s totally disorganized. Cars models are scattered everywhere and there number system lacks proper layout. Garbage and oil everywhere!

Just went to get a tailgate handle for my truck. with the charges to get in just to walk in the yard and pull my own part.The part ended up costing as much as it would brand new. I highly recommend not going to B&R anymore and going to any other auto wrecker. Since when did everyone try taking people as fools

Their new phone system is horrible. I've called 3 days in a row. Asked to get a call back never did. Stayed in the line the 2nd time and then the call ended. 3rd time opted to get a text that never happened. Unfortunately seems like it's time to tale my business else where. When you need something there's no time yo play this waiting game hoping you'll now get a call back or won't be disconnected. I hope they read all these reviews and get rid of that dang AI phone recorder and start having HUMANS answer the phone again.

Update 1/20/25 $5 to go into the yard be prepared with proper shoes and five bucks or you won't get in. Danielle is still awesome. Always smiling and very good customer service. The other staff is equally trained. I'd highly recommend the guys and gals down at the Eugene location because they are very good at what they do. Thanks Danielle!!
