I’m a veteran, the clothes are way overpriced. A pair of old jeans $18.00. I have donated there many times but never again. Now I know why no one was shopping.

Very over priced clothes and dishes… no good clothes I come looking for vintage clothes and cool items but they only have cheap stuff seems like all they like to sell is SHEIN and fashionova for $10 ??

Just witnessed three cars outside of the Pickerington, Ohio VOA literally steal everything left outside of the drop off. I was dropping off two bags of clothes and thought I’d deter them, but, instead they flung my donations out after I went back to my car. They shouted “hi!” as if they knew I was watching. They drove off in a black Ford 150 and a cream colored sedan. I hope you have cameras outside to capture people stealing after hours. I regret leaving my nice clothes for these people to just take off with. I hope you have cameras outside.

I’ve always had a great experience at this store. I’ve shopped here since it opened. I wanted to share today’s experience. They have a monthly 50% off day (last Tuesday of month). A lady was looking for a mate to a pair of black Hoka running shoes for her son as he is a server, is required to wear black, and wears a large size. She was about to give up when I suggested she ask an associate. She ended up asking Ms. Corne. During this very busy day when Ms. Corne was likely needed on the floor, she went to the back to look for the mate, found it, and brought it to the lady. The lady was so grateful. I am highlighting this because I appreciate Ms. Corne’s customer focus. She has always been friendly, kind and willing to help the customer in whatever way she can. If you happen to shop here, you may know her by her infectious smile and laugh. She is definitely a bright light at this particular VOA and I look forward to seeing her when I’m here.

Clean & shockingly not overpriced like so many of todays thrift stores.

I go here about once every two weeks and absolutely love this store. They do a great job at sizing and everyone is friendly.

I really love this thrift store I don't get up here very often but when I do I get excited,but today I was very disappointed in this store prices were to high I found a figurine that's was broke in 3 places which it was priced at 6.99 which I didn't realize until I got to the register we ask if they would be willing to drop the price since we were still willing to pay something for it the lady looked at us and said I'll take off 25% and I was floored 25%off of something broken and u know dam well n one else would have even messed with it, I said no thanks and I believe the lady took it and throw it in the trash..I was so disappointed In the ppl who worked here. They would rather throw something in the trash then to make a couple bucks.....sad very sad of the greediness of ppl these days

Easy drop off and clearance is high enough for my enclosed trailer! Some prices could be a little lower, but not bad if you need stuff! Dropped off a lot of kids toys and housewares hopefully someone will get some use out of!

This used to be my absolute favorite thrift store. Organized, prices were amazing, but lately these prices are getting WAY out of hand. For example I bought wrapping paper, on the tag from the store it was $1. The price listed from VOA was $2.99 ? That’s ridiculous. Most of it was way way overpriced and even some other costumers said to me “have you seen these prices??” I will most likely not be visiting anymore.

I had back surgery recently I went to volunteers of America after being told by employees that they unload your vehical. The guy at the drop off points and says right here. He did not lift anything or help at all. It’s a good thing my gf was here to unload and carry the boxes and cloths into the building.

This an exceptionally clean and well-organized store. They recently re-organized and organize clothes by size (before it was just by color LOL). And it seems they weeded out a bunch of old stuff that had been there for awhile. I really enjoy shopping at this store. They have dressing rooms to try on clothes. Their prices are dirt-cheap. And their staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this store! Very well organized and they always have a great selection. They have some really great employees there too. I was super excited to see that Tammy was back!! That girl is always in a great mood, always happy to help and usually has a compliment or a joke to brighten my day. She's the best!!

By far my favorite thrift store, most the staff ifs very friendly and helpful. Store is always well kept they've even started sorting the clothes by size which is sooo much better. Ive bought all my clothes name brand others not but all in like new if not new condition no one's ever guessed I get my clothes from a thrift shop. VOA in Pickerington is hands down the cheapest thrift store in all of the Columbus and Surrounding areas and I'd know bc I've been to almost all of them! I def recommend visiting this location as you won't be disappointed!!

My girlfriend and I came in to buy stuff for a haunted attraction we help put on. We came in on a day where the sale color was 75% off on red tag items. We had 2 carts full of stuff along with 3 pieces of furniture, the vast majority of which was either red tag or had pricing written in red grease pencil. We checked out and went outside and loaded up all the items we bought. The total came to about $120, and I thought it seemed high. When I checked the receipt I saw that only one item was discounted 75% and one item was discounted 50%. Another reviewer mentioned that they don't honor their own color sales. This appears to be true. We won't be going back. We will instead shop at other thrift stores from now on.

Wow! Totally impressed! Beautiful furniture, Knick knacks galore, jewelry, all at great prices. Very clean and organized store. Tons of clothes all neatly hung up. I purchased a decorative pillow for my sofa for $2.99 and a queen size comforter for $12.99. The clerks were very nice and helpful. Definitely a must see!!

A well-maintained secondhand store with so many clothes to check out, many toys, and an interesting rack of showcase items by the checkout! The restrooms are exceptional, and the employees are great at their jobs! A favorite destination for me in the wonderful town of Pickerington.

Spoke with morning manager, very nice lady. Complimented her cashier and made purchase of a Spider-Man Bike and shoes. Evening manager was very helpful on a price search for the bike for my three year old grandson. Honored my Veteran designation on my drivers license. Very pleased with the service. 5 Stars!! Thanks VOA OF PICKERINGTON!!

JOKE! Will never return to this location. I was purchasing 3 items. One had no price on it. Basic red zipup..zip up.. brand names no reason to mark up... was denied to buy it by the Nasty monotone cashier. She has zero business bring around people. We asked if someone could tag it...at lunch.. we asked for manager...at lunch again is what we were told. As we literally just watched a manager do a override on the register next to us... I asked that cashier to get the manager. She did right away. The pointless young lady came out and stopped 10 feet away from us and didn't even care to listen. Went straight to the cashier who said we didn't understand??.. wth??? The "manager" still looking like a deer in headlights said absolutely nothing with her iced coffee in hand. So embarrassing. Over some donated clothes that helps when purchased

Some of the policies geared towards customers are unfair - especially the return policy on damaged goods. One time I bought something and it broke during the short walk to my car, and they wouldn't let me return it. They offered store credit but it seemed like a huge deal (some of the staff gave me attitude over it) and it was annoying to say the least. That said, I appreciate what they're doing and I especially appreciate how easy they make it to give donations in the drive-thru on the side of the building.

This place is great. New stuff every day. Their prices can be a little on the high side for "thrift" store prices, but still a great bargin. I'm willing to pay a little extra for how clean and organized they keep their store compared to some of the other thrift stores I go to. Staff is always great. I think they only have one sale a month, but its 50% off everything so if you can get there early and they have your size its a total steal.

I haven’t thrifted in so long and this was refreshing. A lot to choose from and it was an average experience. Very clean and fitting rooms were open so I don’t have to track down an employee to try on clothes. I like to visit places like this that have cute, newer clothes and not just very old frumpy clothing. Volunteers of America is one of the underrated thrifting spots. The manager checked me out and seen that I had my babies with me and she was so kind and helped me out with a couple prices. I’m so grateful! It’s hard to get ALL the things you want on a budget?thank you - this is what putting people first looks like!!

Outstanding store! One of my greatest thrift store finds EVER! My calendar is marked every month for the store wide 1/2price sale. This store offers a huge, excellant selection of name brand, quality merchandise at remarkable prices. Never a disappointment and is always a great shopping experience. Clean, organized sale floor and restroom. Friendly, helpful staff A+++guys!

Very very nice. It is one of the best. It's like shopping at a regular retail store. Very clean, organized, and spacious which is perfect during the pandemic. Name brand clothes always found. The one drawback is there is no size labels so you do spend extra time rummaging to figure out where your size is you have to get good at guessing, but I can deal with that since pricescare very good compared to Goodwill who's thrift store clothes are very overpriced we kind of steer clear of them now. Great selection normally unless they have been real busy if you wait a little they replenish. I needed clothes for funeral and swimming clothes and found both and name brand. Staff are very pleasant. I got an email from one of their office staff leaders asking my opinion about community activities too which I appreciated being included.

This is a nice thrift store in a good location. Clean store with a nice variety of clothing and shoes to choose from. Prices are cheap too. The only thing I don't like about this place is that some of the employees are not friendly and are not very helpful. Other than that, everything is good

This thrift store has a lot of nice clothing for really cheap. The sorting of the clothes by color and not size is a little weird but it’s not impossible to find your size. I bought an entire summer wardrobe for $39.00. The place is really clean too. I’ll definitely be back!

Went there for the first time, hoping the excitement of a new thrift store had finally calmed down. The store was clean and more kept up with than any other thrift store I had been in. Someone was out picking up trash in the parking lot, which was pretty impressive as that's a "short straw draw" job. The staff was nice, helpful, and smiling. Definitely pleased overall, and hoping it stays that way.

First let's talk about the wasted space in the parking lot!! Have been twice now, opening day and then two days later. Not enough parking and these oversized waste of space mulch collectors are not needed at all. Store itself if nice. Staff is nice although new as the store hasnt been open long enough to get a good feel for how it is going to be. Sunday hours are questionable as they don't open until noon. There was already a crowd in the parking lot at 11!
