They are very rude they say u in the gate by 430 and u get but really it's how much does the owner wait to stay for the public with they forget if it was for the public they would not be in business period .I was in the gate by 420 and then walks up to window after I been there at least 10 to 12 mins and tells me there not taking no more today meaning me that I had to come back when they reopened I live almost to Carolina beach rd wich I thought that was bs
I honestly didn’t even wanna leave one star I’m not sure who woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and thought it was appropriate to cuss out customers because your technology and systems are down and you’re having a bad day. Doesn’t mean you take it out on customers and use foul language. And by looking at past reviews, it seems as if this is a pattern You stated in previous comments to reviews that you will take what they say in a consideration and do better, but it looks as if nothing has improved!

Poor service, they seemed very annoyed. They didn't accept aluminum because of a few small cans; they wanted siding aluminum separate and flashing aluminum separate. And they were all angry. We went to Lelan and they received us kindly there.
Took in solid brass propeller shafts the owner swore up and down they had steel refused to take a magnet to them also took solid aluminum baking sheets was told it was dirty because they had grease stains on them and a boat wing that was aluminum they claim it was cast i advise anyone to go somewhere else for all their scrap needs I definitely will not be going back
Very professional service. I had never sold metal for recycling before, and the staff were patient and guided me through the process. I will use them again for sure!
When this place had James working the building it was the best place in the area. They now have a new guy that don't even know what he's looking at or how to pay the proper price. Had a 30ft commercial flag pole mostly cut up in 3 ft sections I received 39 dollars. Used to love this place now I'm searching for a new place to sale. No wonder they were not busy. Won't waste my time next time.
Great team working the scrap drop off inside the warehouse. Friendly staff up front as well. First time experience at this location and definitely better than most I’ve visited. Best prices in the area for your scrap. Will return for their business.

This scrap yard is the cleanest, most organized, and easy to navigate yard I’ve ever visited! All the staff was welcoming and helpful. The prices were also by far the best in Wilmington. Highly recommend stopping by if you have steel or precious metals you want to sell!
WOW...😎hands down the easiest, fastest, more bang for your buck place to sell scrap metal in new hanover/brunswick county and all of the surrounding area. Also, since Foss Recycling took over management everything changed too for the better, though i thought prices would might be lower, i was WRONG. now i get great satisfaction selling my wares to the super nice and super down to earth staff. you will not regret taking your scrap to Foss recycling in Wilmington NC. right off of hwy 421.
