This nonprofit organization continues to work on sharing and saving architectural structures. They are extremely knowledgeable on historical material and local history.
Fantastic workshop today, "Totally Floored" led by Bob Janiszeski of Visions Hardwood Floors. Stop by the warehouse for unique finds. Wood, furniture, hardware , and doors with tons of patina. Great stuff from the Historic Wilmington Foundation!
Legacy Architectural Salvage is a "feel good" destination! Feels good to walk through a museum of antique furniture, fixtures and decore... where everything is for sale... at a reasonable price! Feels good to support the Historic Wilmington Foundation with every purchase, and to contribute with every donation!
You never know what you may find. Will definitely plan on returning for a visit. Staff was excellent. A must see place in my opinion especially if you like the old homes of the area.
I love this place. We are restoring an old home and this has been where I have found everything I've needed and a few things I didn't. The staff are always happy to help and very friendly.
Friendly staff who obviously love what they do and the mission they are on. A little of this and a lotta that is what you'll find. Windows, doors, hardware,wood and mote. If you're feeling creative this is a great place to get some inspiration.

Deb and Don were so amazingly helpful and informative, I wish I could give them both six stars! The selection is really impressive. They've got an especially fine assortment of very old Heartwood pine and old growth lumber. And really wonderful old antique architectural features, like doors, windows, light fixtures, etc. For example, as we were leaving I was astonished to see a series of SOLID wood columns laying on the ground just outside the main entrance door! And Don went above and beyond the call of duty to explain some cool bits of history to my two young kids.
Love shopping at Legacy! I've bought old wood flooring, chairs, dessing table, shutters, door knobs, hardware, etc. So many unusual and historic items to browse. Staff is super helpful and full of suggestions. I took the window repair class and hope Covid is over soon so the flooring class will be rescheduled. Thank you Legacy for being here!
Neat collection of salvaged building materials and other rescued household items. Great helpful staff. Specialty is large dimension lumber salvaged from houses, barns etc. in the area.
Stopped by and was greeted and received great customer service. Great items, fair prices, and well layed out.
When out that way, I will certainly return.

Found a vintage 48 star flag earlier. Then stopped by Legacy Architectural Salvage and with their help, found this large antique window. Fun project.
Great staff, and neat finds. Unexpected treasure. We we're looking for reclaimed wood for shelves for our hurricane renovation. Ended up finding 7 and 9 inch baseboards at a great price! Thanks Ms Deb!!
I needed a very tall door. The home improvement stores wanted to special order at outrageous cost.
Legacy had what I needed as salvage.
I purchased at a reasonable price.
