I was on a roadtrip from PA back to Florida and I was going to stop in Charlotte overnight. I got off the interstate to get some gas when my low oil light came on. I stopped at Autozone to get some oil to top it off. After opening the hood, the problem was much more than that. At some point on my drive the oil cap had come off. Mike was extremely helpful, kind and patient as he helped to get my car taken care of so I could finish my drive. Thank you Mike for helping me get home safely!
After a few messages, emails and phone calls they made everything right! Once again a satisfied customer and will continue to do business with them. I would rate them higher but for now 3 stars it is. Bought a battery from them in August then back in October the battery was acting up again. Brought it to them. They hooked up the battery tester and it said it was a bad battery. I said it was brand new. He went inside and another employee came out with a multimeter and said the battery is fine. So I purchase a new alternator. Another month goes by and the car won't start. Have it towed to mechanic for them to say it's a bad battery. They replaced it. I go back to AutoZone and they say they can refund me only give me a replacement. Just what am I supposed to do with 2 batteries. I then asked for my core charge back so I can get what little money I can back and he looks at me as if I'm an idiot.
I have been fixing my 2010 lancer GTS .. Everytime I come here and get help from Mike I always have a great and solved outcome. He is very courteous as well as the other employees in this store location I highly recommend coming here and ask for Mike if he's in !
Stopped in for wiper blades and got the wrong fit. Barbee looked at the old one and said I needed a different kind. She got the right ones and installed them. Back on the road in no time! Thanks Barbee!?
Mike was outstanding! We came in with a completely dead battery, and he helped us replace it quickly and efficiently. He was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was handled correctly. Really appreciated how prompt and courteous he was excellent service all around!
Outstanding service, Mike in Troutman came to our rescue. Van wouldn't start in parking lot of Lowes. He came and jumped off the van. And replaced battery at his location in Troutman. Great Service.

I was in an emergency situation. My mirror got broken off on my Box truck from another driver went here and they allowed me to use a tool and let me stay inside until I figured out a fix to get me back on the road. I was able to purchase a mirror and figure out how to mount it using some of their hardware that they sold. I had a load in my truck that had to be delivered. This really saved me and my business. The staff was extremely friendly and also let me use a broom to sweep all the broken glass out of my truck since my window busted you really don’t find people that friendly anymore and trusting. I would highly recommend this business for their exceptional service and kind employees
I want to thank all the guys at this Autozone. My son and I came from Winston-Salem to buy him a car. After a couple miles it started to give him trouble. The employees of this store went above and beyond to help us. We had to go to another store to get the part we thought was needed. They came and put the part on for my son. They were so kind and respectful to us. Its hard to find good customer service these days. These guys were amazing. I say these guys as it was a total of 3 that helped and i didnt get any names which is my fault as i was trying to keep my son calmed down. I am happy to say the car is running good now. I highly recommend this Autozone.
I broke down in the Lowes parking lot and John came from store in his own truck to jump me! I ended up needing to bring the battery back for a charge which they did for free. Thanks so much to John, Kevin, and their manager Barbie! You've earned my business from now on!
We came in to buy an oil change. Asked for help. The employee got the filter for us. He gave us the wrong filter. After returning home and realizing he gave us the wrong filter, went back to the store and was told that he could not return/exchange the wrong filter without a receipt. He literally just sold it to us. SAME GUY! 30 minutes earlier. That is poor service. This is why I go to Advance. Too bad they aren't open later on Sunday.
I ordered a part yesterday for my son‘s car. They didn’t have it in stock but one of the other locations did, they said they would call me when it came in. They called me and said it was there around 4:30 and they would leave it up front at counter. Went to get it today the kid at the counter knew nothing about it. Then said he found it, but it’s showing a different name and phone number. Someone at the store clearly screwed up because they had my name and my phone number yesterday when it came in they called me. They didn’t want to sell me this part. It was literally $12 Finally I said who the hell would know all this information if I’m not the one that ordered it. He was talking about how he could lose his job if he gave it to me, etc. He finally gave it to me, but after a big run around. Now I see why a lot of people I know don’t go to AutoZone.
Terrible service, terrible person at the desk. Napa Auto parts gave me an old battery a year ago. Then when it went to crap I try to return it and they won’t give me my warranty. They spoke to me like I was an idiot for their mistake. I will never purchase something from Napa Auto parts again!
The manager and staff were extremely helpful and they were able to get us sorted out with both advice and parts. Would definitely use this store again. Very helpful and friendly service.
John and Barbee were so kind and helpful when my phone charger died in my car. John helped me with the fuse box and got me set up and able to recharge my phone. I would highly recommend their store if you are traveling and are in need of car help.
Went in to get a code read for indicator lights that come on to see what was going on. Both Dawson M. and Mike M. were very helpful and knowledgable in helping me placing an order for what I needed. Just wanted to leave feedback on an uncomfortable situation. I just experienced at the AutoZone in Troutman, North Carolina.
After being greeted inside by an associate and asked if I needed assistance (Which I politely declined), That same associate proceeded to follow me to where I was shopping and continue to bombard me with questions. After Politely declining help again, explain I am very aware of what I need and what is happening with my car, the associate scoffed, and walked away. I quickly grabbed my necessary items and headed to check out where the same associate proceeded to scold me for purchasing something I had purchased 100+ times before.
NOW, Onto the most alarming part of this distasteful interaction. This fully grown man continue to follow me all the way outside of the store, Stating “ My pitch isn’t over”. After blowing him off yet again, I was finally able to leave.
This jarring and condescending interaction is enough for me to never return.
Came in looking for a butt connector to wire a fishfinder on my pontoon. Two legends at AutoZone jumped in like it was a high-stakes mission—and we found it. 10/10 for parts, service, and butt-related professionalism.

Generally a good experience yet today different . Gentleman behind the counter was good to go however his “manager” was a different story . While approving my military discount I really didn’t care for her aggressive upsell of caliper slide lube . When I replied that I was fine and no thank you I didn’t need , she then went on to tell me how if my calipers lock up we aren’t responsible . Not once , but twice . Look , I’m a professional ase certified auto technician and have all I need at home except those pads I purchased . I didn’t care for the aggressive upsell
Shandra saved the day. After a AAA worker came to my house where my dead car was, he jump started it said "battery was good". After a few errands, it was getting harder to start. Came home called Autozone down the road, she said it could be three things she will test them all. Barely got there, she was right, it was a battery. She installed the new battery there, her professionalism was so helpful. She knew what she was doing and I left feeling confident and safe again. Have a great day!
I walked in the store to get a gas can. I saw the Veteran Decals etc on clearance. I asked the store manager about it. He scanned it and said it wasn’t on sale. As a matter of fact he scanned a few things on the end cap underneath where the clearance sign is located. Nothing under the clearance sign was on sale or clearance. He did not honor his own sign. The decals were approximately $18 but the sign stated they were on clearance for $2 or $.50. I thought if a sign was misplaced the store especially store manager, he stated he is the store manager. I thought you are supposed to honor your sales sign. Do better!!!! Honor your sales signs!! The picture is of him removing the sign after I brought this to his attention instead of ringing up my $2.00 US Army decal.
Great Customer Service from Bryan and his team! They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and went above & beyond to help me troubleshoot my semi truck issue. I had an issue with my leveling valve, and Bryan dropped what he was doing and immediately came outside to help repair and get me back on the road in just a few minutes. It's a sad day when you don't stand behind your products. I brought a set of wiper blades for my truck. It's been a month since since I purchased them. The 1 wiper skips across glass. I went back to Auto Zone 2 days ago and was told that no wipers have a warranty. So don't know about you guys, but throwing $25.00 out the window seems a better option then wasting my time. I would never shop there again... After this post Autozone contacted me and corrected the problem and resolved my issues. Thank you for your speedy response.
