I grew up in my grandpops garage and suffer from “if you want it done right, do it yourself.” syndrome when it comes to all things mechanic as a result. That being said, these are the only guys I will take my vehicle to when my fragile male ego falls apart, and I have to admit that I can’t make a repair myself. The shop manager William Swanger is the man, and a black belt in mechanic-kwon-do. - it’s also worth mentioning that they have a top of the line alignment machine they use here, as opposed ‘eyeballing it and getting it close enough.’ …which seems to be standard practice around here anymore. (I wish I were kidding.) You can trust these guys. Go see William, he’s a good dude. 🤙🏼

These folks are wonderful. We are traveling from Florida and my add tire air warning light came on. I called and they could see me right away. After checking all my tires, I left feeling comfortable that it had only been a issue with the recent cold weather. Lol that hadn't happened back home in florida. Thanks again. Enjoy the pizza 🍕.

I was leaving Maggie on my way to SC when my tire warnings on the dash started going crazy. I was just passing JTA and pulled in immediately and I'm so glad I did! They checked all my tires for pressure and each was a couple pounds low so JTA aired them up and all it cost me was a short wait in their nice waiting room. While there one of the techs came in to discuss repairs with the elderly gentleman I'd been chatting with. I absolutely LOVE that the tech explained in detail what the gentleman's truck needed repaired and the different options he had. These people treat their customers with great respect which is the ultimate in my book.

Best shop in Haywood County. From the owner to the shop managers and all the other staff you will get exceptional service. I’m in at least once every 6 weeks for oil changes and service. They are very professional and prompt. Very rare to find a business that places such a high priority on customer service.

Arrived in junaluska on Thursday afternoon ball joints were bad on our truck a construction person flagged me down and said your tire is coming off, so we went to junaluska tire and auto at 3 o'clock in distress, upset, didn't know what to do. The manger had our truck checked out, sure enough it was ball joints. Worried about what to do, truck was not drive able. They looked up parts and said they are available. Not sure about timing on getting fixed the technician said I'll take you where you need to go and to the motel, he did. At 6 pm i got a call to say the technician will pick you up at 7.30 am Friday morning 5/16/2025 your vehicle is ready . BILLY, you are a awesome person. He stayed after hours to fix my truck and went out of his way to help me. May God bless this business. I give them 10 Stars. Oh, they are honest and fair with there prices. Over the top customer service!!!

Excellent customer service and best car service shop I have ever been to. I moved to the Waynesville area 5 months ago. Mother's Day weekend I hit my tire on a curb and it bent the rim and left a cut in the sidewall of the tire. A friend at my apartment complex recommended seeing William at Junaluska Tire and Auto. William was wonderful and I explained to him what happened and how I needed the car to be safe driving so far for cancer treatment. He looked at it and recommended the rim and tire be replaced and not to drive it on freeway. It was dismaying but even the customers are wonderful there as someone overhearing my story took care of it. I have never had such a wonderful experience at a business in all my long years. Everyone there was wonderful. They ordered my tire and rim and set an appointment for it. They immediately got me in and out at my appointment. I will be using them for any future needs.

Best customer service, fast, and went above and beyond for us. We were staying in a cabin nearby on vacation, had some car trouble, and the manager actually drove us back to the cabin while they worked on the truck. They came back to pick me up after my truck was ready too. Just exceptional folks, the whole staff, everyone. Highly recommend.

I've had several interactions with Junaluska and have been completely satisfied every single time. Most recently I had my tires replaced and my car (and myself) have never been happier. I've found prices are reasonable and the staff are professional, friendly, and willing to help in any way possible. I would fully recommend to anyone! As a side note, I noticed a negative review, specifically about the professionalism and integrity of this business. I wanted to edit to say that I've had multiple services done here and have NEVER had an issue. The staff have always been forthcoming, honest, and upfront about the services needed as well as the anticipated costs.

Used to think very highly of this businesses but since they have a new office manager the business has gone down hill. I made an appointment two days ago for my brakes and rotors to be changed and my appt was today. Well I was told I have to make another appointment because they don’t have the parts that I need to make the appointment. So what was the point of the appointment in the first place. And this isn’t the first time there has been an issue, my friend made an appointment to have tires put on and they literally called her asking if that was what she wanted done. It seems like common sense isn’t very common with the new office manager. And apparently I can’t be mad about me having another appointment because the office manager told me that they are no longer interested in servicing my vehicle. I DO NOT recommend going to Junaluska Tire. Since I cannot reply I will edit. This was the first and only time I was dissatisfied with anything with Junaluska Tire. When I made my appointment I told you I needed brakes and rotors that is what the appointment was for. You never told me it was an inspection appointment that was being made. I knew my brakes and rotors needed changed. And me having to try and get a ride for ANOTHER appointment isn’t convenient at all.

Just picked my jeep up from getting the wheel bearings changed and an alignment done. Now I’ve been through LOTS of mechanic shops and this is by FAR the most professional and highest quality shop I’ve EVER been to. I’ve never seen my jeep drive so smooth. Very good work guys and I’m definitely making yall my number 1 mechanic and I recommend anyone reading this to give them a shot and you WONT regret it.

Great service - the mechanic showed me a wheel bearing issue that I didn't know was there (and they gave me an estimate to get that fixed) And after taking it for a test drive, he replaced my rotors and brake pads The bill was even less than they estimated! Now my car drives so much better :) happy customer here

Busy pre-Labor Day Friday. Waynesville Tire said 2 hour wait. Lake Junaluska said come on in. Within 2 minutes they had my car on the lift inspecting a tire.

We got a flat tire, driving over the mountain. The troopers stopped to help (So kind and helpful). We found Junaluska and pulled in. They had to order a tire, then helped us rent a vehicle to get us to a previous engagement. They saved our vacation. The owner and his wife went above and beyond. We picked up the car later in the evening before they closed, and we got back home safely.

We just had our tires replaced. The service was excellent as the employees we're too. Our car loves the new tires she rides better than she ever did!! Thanks so much! y'all are the best. Richard and Stacey Boris

Stopped in last week because the alternator went out on my work van. Gentleman at the counter said it would be after lunch, approximately an hour or so when their lunch was over. If I wanted to wait they would fit me in. I chose to wait. After 5 minutes in the parking lot waiting, a mechanic CHOSE to put his lunch off and fix my van so I could get back to work. THAT IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL!!! Thank you for fitting me in and fixing my problem SUPER FAST and a great price! Hats off to Junaluska Tire and Auto Crew!!!!!!!

I had a leak in my tire and first called Waynesville tire and was told not much wait time. No appointments - first come first serve. Went right there and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. So I called junaluska tire and was told they could take care of me immediately. 2 miles down the street and 20 minutes later I was all set. These guys were prompt, courteous and did a great job.

My Wife had a flat tire and bent wheel from hitting a pothole in town, I took it over to them and I didn't catch the guys name but he was super nice and had it fixed in no time. We are very thankful for local shops that can take care of the smaller things without all the drawn out account sign up or reservations. Thank you guys

My Van had break pads, and the rotors turned; in at 1PM, out at 3:37. The price was fantastic. Van drives great. Friendly and professional people. Highly recommend to everyone!!

These guys are great. I’ve been taking my truck here for years. They will always give you the price before they do the service and they always take such great care of me. Definitely recommend these guys to everyone I talk to.

Needed my tire replaced quickly, Waynesville Tire couldn't work me in, in a timely matter there was a 2hr wait. I didn't have time to wait that long and called Junaluska Tire and got me right in when I got there and put my new tire on within 10 mins I was back on the road. Thanks guys!

We blow 2 tires on our camper pulling into town. This shop was great! Got me in and had the tires we needed. Highly recommend them!

We stopped at a rest area on I-40 westbound when we suddenly lost all brake pressure. We were stranded on our vacation. Junaluska Tire and Auto graciously squeezed our car into their already booked schedule, diagnosed a broken brake hose, called 5 different parts stores to find the proper hose (in Asheville no less), and repaired our car to get us back on the road. They also kept us updated on the progress. I HIGHLY recommend this shop if you need any work done!

Called in advance to check on waiting time to get a low tire repaired. The employee informed me that they were not that busy and come on down. Walked in and had to ask a mechanic for help. Explained that I had just called about my tire. He said that he would be right with me. 20 minutes later and no help, I decided to leave. And to my defense, there was one guy maybe two waiting. I decided to go to them because they had great reviews. Went to Mr. Tire in Waynesville and was out in 30 minutes. I'm sure Junaluska Tire does good work, just wish the communication was better.

These are some of the most honest and reasonable mechanics in Haywood County!! Always explain what your cars need and always charge a fair price! They have worked on all my cars and trucks and I’ve always been happy with them!

The folks that work there are very nice, but I took my wife’s car out there to get the breaks done. I told them I thought the roders at least needed to be turned or possible changed. They came to me when the job was done and said that I didn’t need new ones that they just turned them. So shortly after we left they started doing the same thing as before. We took it today to another place and they said the roders were bad that they should have changed them or that they had sanded them down too much. I won’t be going back to them. Go somewhere that you get your money’s worth.
