Coming home from leave I stopped by a gas station and my truck wouldn’t start again. Despite waiting for 2+ hours for AAA and USAA for a battery jump, they ended up cancelling all rides due to no one being available. I gave Johnnys Towing a call and they were there for ten minutes. They jumped my truck for a reduced price and wished my luck on the rest of my ride.

I locked my keys in my car at the gas station, instead of this blunder ruining the rest of the days plans, Jonny-on-the-spot came within 5 minutes of the call and unlocked my car and I was back on the road not even 30 minutes after the entire incident. Saved my day and my bank account too 💪🏼

I was recently in a car accident about 10 miles from Wallace, still shaken up when the state trooper called Johnny’s Towing on my behalf. In the fog of the moment, I agreed to the tow without realizing I was about to be taken for a ride—literally and financially.
Johnny’s towed my car to his own shop, then promised to drop it at my preferred location the next day. The new location was just a short drive away—local to the area—but when I got the bill, I was stunned to see a $425 charge. For what? A basic local tow with no special handling, no after-hours service, no added complications.
This is pure price gouging—taking advantage of people at their most vulnerable. There was no clear explanation, no itemized breakdown, just a massive bill I was expected to swallow without question.
If you’re in an accident or stranded near Wallace, do yourself a favor: do not let law enforcement call Johnny’s Towing. Insist on a reputable company that won’t exploit you when you're already dealing with enough. This place operates more like a scam than a service.
Great customer service !! My son was broke down at the rest area in Warsaw NC Christmas Eve morning at 4:00 am on his way home from Wilmington NC. Called and within 45 minutes they had a recovery vehicle on site and took care of my son. Awesome company.
Johnny got to us so quick and was so nice! We called after USAA couldn't find anyone to bring us gas on the side of the highway on a Saturday evening - Johnny was there within 30 minutes! Excellent service and such a nice person.

Best service ever! After a long evening of cancels and no shoes from our insurance not being able to find a provider. Johnny's came through in a pinch and expidited an amazing driver right out.
