I don’t write reviews much but this place absolutely is the best. Super friendly and helpful. Had a wheel bearing go bad on a boat trailer while on vacation and they had a pre-packed hub in stock as well as bearings, and axle nut I needed and got me on the road again when I would have otherwise been stranded. They have the best inventory of trailer parts I’ve seen. Definitely will return if I ever need anything in the area again!!
One guy in there was super helpful. Didn't have the part in the store but pulled up the part from another Napa. And we got free hot dogs this guy was the best💯 just wish I asked for his name
Thanks so much to Chuck, Thomas and the owner when I had a battery issue. They were so extremely helpful, Chuck and his wife came over to assist me as I was ready for work and my battery failed. They also checked in with me the following day. I am extremely grateful. I am from Augusta, GA on a work assignment at the local hospital. I am blessed beyond measure to have met them. They all get a A++++.
Let me tell you what. This store saved our bacon. We were doing our touristy thing, until our little pop-up trailer broke a spring when traveling the Obx byway. While limping it back to town we called every mechanic that Google listed, and got no help anywhere. Out of desperation I pulled into the parking lot of this store. They immediately walked out and measured my trailer, and lo and behold, they had parts! An hour or two later, I was patched up and back on the road. Everyone here is amazing. Thank you so much for lending the friendly advice (and I do mean friendly) and having the right parts on hand. It means we can continue on our camping adventure uninterrupted, instead of shipping it home on a flatbed. You guys are awesome.
On her way home from OBX, my 23-year old daughter noticed a piece hanging down in the front of her Honda Accord. In a panic and on a Saturday morning, She was concerned she would not be able to drive to a Honda dealer, or they would be closed. She stopped in and Logan fixed the piece quickly and sent her on her way. She made it home safely. As a parent of a Twentysomething driver, I appreciated Logan taking care of her so quickly and saving me a trip to bring her a different car. There are kind people in this world and Logan is one!

This is the worst auto parts store I have been to a bunch of idiots behind the desk I like Napa parts but don't buy them from this Napa terrible store with terrible employees
Had to stop in for a quick repair and the store employees were beyond helpful! They were kind and knowledgeable. Kind of how you expect to be treated, except not many people are this way anymore. All staff working were awesome! Simply based on this experience, I'll stick with NAPA as opposed to the other auto part stores now. Thank you!
The gentleman knew exactly what I needed and was a great help! Keep in mind, NAPA will test your batteries, but won't actually change out a battery for you. Otherwise, the prices where in-line with everyone else. I would personally like to see the battery service like the other parts stores around.

NAPA Auto Parts in Manteo, Obx, N.C. is hands down the best Auto & *Marine supply store on the Outer Banks. They have a full selection of marine/boating supplies, auto/truck parts/supplies, trailer supplies,*nut & bolt bins , paint supplies, fiberglass supplies, *welding supplies, electrical supplies, tools, cleaners, waxes, lubricants ,etc..they also carry hard to find products like Kano Kroil rust penetrating oil. The staff is always friendly and go outta their way to help you find what you need. If they don't have it in stock they can have it delivered the next morning. This place has just about everything for the handy man to get the job done.- There's really no need to go anywhere else.
These guys know their stuff. Always helpful, will help you rig something up in a pinch. A wealth of knowledge sits behind the counter. "NAPA know how" for real.
Order a transmission dip stick & might get an oil dip stick or 6 spark plugs for a V8 or stick to older Employees and they will get you the right parts.
