Richard was extremely patient, helpful, and kind when I went to ask some questions about running diagnostics on my car. He gave me a couple suggestions, talked me through a few things, and I really appreciated it!

Since I posted my initial review I have needed to stop in two more times to purchase a part to replace in my vehicle, as well as to ask a few more follow up questions. Between these two extra visits I not only ran into Richard again, who remembered me and everything I was needing help with from my first visit, but I also received a lot of help from Jodi (sp?) and Mark. Again, they were so helpful and patient and truly went above and beyond. In no way did they make me feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. In fact, they provided me with more information and things to consider to help give me a well-rounded idea of how to handle what I was trying to figure out with my vehicle. I really appreciate how present they all were with me and the care they put into listening and explaining.
People like this really make a difference and put those like myself at ease when they feel a bit out of their league and are looking for some help and a boost of confidence with something as significant as the vehicle they drive and depend on each day.

When I walked in, all three employees were immediately welcoming and helpful. One helped me check out the coolants and ensure it was the correct fit for my Audi since there are many different year restrictions. Knew his stuff and we talked for a bit about cars for a bit. Very positive experience.

I know NOTHING about cars and am always worried that I will be taken advantage of when I get work done on my car. I am happy to say that the guys at Advanced Auto Parts were AMAZING! They didn't try to up sell me anything and they changed my battery in less than 10minutes. 100% would recommend going here!
When I worked retail, I absolutely dreaded the LMC (last minute customer). You know who I’m talking about – the one who walks in literally five minutes before locking the doors, a million questions to ask, sometimes obnoxious, always demanding. This is embarrassing but Yeah… tonight that was me.
Having recently acquired a new-to-us vehicle, my husband decided we HAD to fix (Cob-job) the exhaust tonight. So, here we are, asking these poor guys to accommodate us. They did more than that. They made us not only feel welcome but actually seemed genuinely glad we were there. They patiently looked up parts we had questions about, recommended specific ways to complete the job at hand, even came out from behind the counter to point out the correct products to use.
Advance Auto isn’t renowned, nor revered, for its customer service… at least not in my experience. After tonight’s visit, however, my impression has completely changed. From now on, this will be my starting point for any project. Whenever I’m asked for a recommendation, my answer moving forward will always be Advance Auto.
I asked if someone can put my front license plate on for me and the man told me no we don't do any mechanical work. He was busy on his cellphone and was very nonchalant with me.
Do not buy anything from Advanced Auto ever. I purchased the Hopkins VueSMART trailer camera at Advanced Auto on june 27th 2024 in Bangor Maine. I installed it that day and it worked ok at the campground. However, the image started freezing and eventually it only gave a black screen on our second trip. So I attempted to return it on July 23 2024 (less than 30 days later) to Advanced Auto in Queensbury NY. The manager there refused to take the return because I did not have the original packaging. He said he could not re-sell it. When I asked him why he would want to resell defective merchandise he just repeated that he needed the original packaging for resale. So I am out the full amount for the camera. I verified Advanced Autos return policy is not only to have original packaging but also to have the package unopened. This makes zero sense to me. I will not be purchasing anything from Advanced Auto in the future.
Folks replaced my failing battery during the polar vortex weather. Extremely helpful given the frigid weather. Bought a die hard battery and the Advance Auto folks happily replaced the battery.
Went to AutoZone to purchase and have a battery installed and was quickly dismissed because it was a hybrid. Spoke with Ed at Advanced Auto who said bring it down and they will take a look at it. He installed a new battery kindly and professionally. I would highly recommend Advanced Auto over AutoZone
Unbelievably great service. These guys were in motion like a finely tuned machine. I was out of there with a new battery installed in my car in less than 15 minutes. Very impressive. Kudos.

Went here because I needed a new battery. Charles handled everything - found the battery for me and installed it. Very professional the whole way. I wish I had cash on hand to tip because he is one of those people that just deserved a good act. I will return because of his service.
Very helpful! I borrowed the Check Engine Code Reader, and Ed was able to look up the information and give me some very helpful suggestions. Ended up fixing my car with ease instead of what I was expecting to be a very costly visit to the shop.
Tonight I went in with an issue concerning my car. The lift support on the left rear side had broken. I needed info and to see about removing it. If I left it on then I wouldn’t have a battery left. An indicator light on my console showed an open door. An associate Steve came outside, looked at my problem, retrieved the correct tool and took the piece off. He saved my bacon!! He went above and beyond. Thanks Steve!!!!
Even though im not a professional auto mechanic, the gentleman (joe n. on the receipt) took a moment to ask, and get me the right star sockets and then proper parts for me to do my own brakes. Safely and saved me alot of time...GOOD JOB
Great store and really reasonable prices compared to other auto parts stores. They also had some good deals for the products I needed tonight. The man working was very helpful, he actually offered to come outside that way I didn't go spending $149.99 for a lightbulb like the lady @ AutoZone was telling me I needed. Needless to say thank God he did because I didn't need what she was saying and only spent $14.99 for the bulb!!! He was also very helpful when I mentioned needing a few other items he went out on the floor and grabbed them for me instead of doing like most cashiers do and reply with oh that's in isles #5 And he also prevented me from accidentally buying the wrong gas treatment for my Kia.....
I ordered parts for the fallowing day. Once I get there I find that no delivery had come in (unlike what I was told from the previous worker), my parts were not in and nobody knew why. This was extremely frustrating due to the fact that it's winter and the day I ordered my parts for was forecast to be in the mid 40's which I'm sure any driveway mechanics can tell you is a godsend temperature during upstate NY winter's. Anyway the fallowing day my parts came in. I needed a master and slave cylinder for my clutch. The slave cylinder wasn't exactly OEM although it was listed as such. It had a secondary banjo bolt extension that I had to remove prior to install and the master cylinder pedal connection bracket was bent in a twisted fashion which entailed a lot of vise and pliar bending to get straight. Due to the parts not showing up when I needed them and the issues with these "oem" items I'm giving 3 stars. AutoZone is right across the street from this location and they will receive my business from here on out.

Price wise they will offer you the best prices in town in order to save money and time for shopping around.
They do some quite installation free of charge for senior customers or customers who are unable to install or fill up like windshield liquids etc.
Over all very good experience and would definitely suggest anyone who likes to shop for auto parts.

Would be nice for the folks behind the counter to explain in more detail than just Platinum, Gold, and Silver for their brake pads...I guess I don’t need the clips but would of been nice if that was explained what the different packages were...yes I know I should of asked but damn it when my cars up in the air with no ride to get the clips I needed burns me....NOT GOING BACK THERE.

Advance Auto Parts always has great service and a great product
However, at this one the guy helping us probably had his heart in the right place but needed customer service guidance. For example he told us to "brace ourselves" before giving us the price for a battery. And instead of asking us what kind of car we have first he immediately started telling us he might not be able to.
I needed some new contacts for my battery, so I looked it up online, printed the page and went here to find it. I showed it to a staff member and in 2 seconds he had the part ready for me to purchase. Very convenient and easy experience, I'll definitely shop here again.
