Yes i went there told the guy specifically rear brakes and rotors and the dude gave me the right rotors with front brakes like how do you even do that . Mind you the other guy didnt even know how tonuse the computer . I def will not be going back there and the selden one is just as bad
The dark skin tall guy in this auto zone is not helpful they told me to buy the parts and those parts didn’t change anything in the car $350 worth of completely wrong parts and when I ask them can you return they don’t wanna return. All that money go to waste.
Jacob was extremely helpful to me while I was having bad start to my day, associate even went out of his way to help me save money on a new pair of windshield wiper blades.
I called AAA because my battery died. They charged my battery and the person said they did not have the battery in stock. They recommended Auto Zone. I went to the store her in Centereach and the person behind the counter helped me. Desiray M. Installed it for me. She did her job very well. I went to AutoZone because of an issue with my battery. Roberto was so friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs. He was able to help me get to the root cause of battery problem and a solution. I definitely recommend going to the AutoZone in Centereach.
Needed brakes and rotors went straight to AZ -Ms. Andrea looked up exactly what I needed for my truck. She is extremely professional, courteous, friendly and respectful. Although there was terrible rain outside she carried and put them in my car. Every single time I've been in the store, she welcomes with a graceful smile. Makes transactions easy and fast. Annoying return experience. Bought something last week, used credit card. Lost the receipt after cleaning out the car. Despite being the product that they own, I attempted to return the product that didn't fit my car. They initially said that I could not return anything without a receipt. I went back to the car and dug thru it and no dice. I went back and insisted to speak to the manager. The kid there claimed to be the manager. I showed the credit card statement showing the charge, and eventually they decided to give me a store credit. No wonder people just buy everything on Amazon. Just buy it there it's cheaper anyway and less annoying than power hungry managers.

Went today to get a battery check, had to jump the car just to get it to autozone and when I asked for a battery test I was told the car had to be turned on. So then I spent 15 minutes getting my truck turned back on. When I went back inside they said I had to turn the truck off for the test although it was already turned off. I don’t have all day to be jumping my car. Especially when it could’ve already been taken care of!!! The employees name was MJ and he didn’t seem like he had a clue of what he was doing! Do better
2/24/2025 8:20 pm walk into the store with a motorcycle battery when i was somewhat greeted with a grunt from a tall dude with dark features and this ugly smug on his face i put the battery on the table and ask do you have a battery i replace this one with he points to the rack and says there is the motorcycle batteries with a off putting im too busy response guy was totally unwilling to be helpful in anyway
What a fight I had in there once. I had the staff chuckling as i eviscerated another customer that had a very big mouth. Nothing physical just words. The employees have always been eager to help me, and their prices are fair. Plus, its close to my house. Im talking about the centereach location.
Went after work to get an oil filter and oil some other things i ask does this filter come with the oil the guy said yes so i trusted him i looked this moring 16.99 for the oil filter this tall earing wearing kid with curley hair had the nerve to tell me it came with and charged me 16.99 i asked twice was he too dumb to check i woulda made sure to get the filter that came with the deal now i cannot even get a refund since i changed my oil and used the filter thanks tha one dude neaver happend to me ever before they neaver lied and made sure it was the filter that came with the deal that 17$ was a meal or two wasted
This is my go-to place for auto parts and tools. Both the price and service are stellar and Tom the manager is outstanding. Not only were they able to help me find my parts that I needed for my car but they were also able to give me some great tips and advice. Don't bother going anywhere else because you found the auto parts store that you need and the location that has service above and beyond.
Update: Still great prices and service, even with new employees and management.
Had a great experience at the store today. I am not a frequent flyer and was really lost. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Went outside and helped me to swap windshield wipers, found right batteries not only for my car key but also garage door! Definitely coming back and the price was right. Thank you guys!
This store is has good customer support, at least from frequent experience. My order goes through, arrives on time, they also lend tools professionally unlike Hauppauge location.
Went in to get a new battery for my car tonight. Tom, Paige and Corey were all very so nice and helpful.
Tom went above and beyond to help me with some electrical complication my car was having. He didn’t stop until he figured it all out. I’m not car smart so he really made this process easier and non stressful for me. He's a very hard worker and cares about his customers. Thanks again to everyone at AutoZone in Centereach. Meet with Rob today at the Centereach NY location it was a very pleasant experience. We had got the 3 year warranty on the Duralast Gold rotors and breaks. They had everything we needed in stock. We got our rotors and breaks replaced for free with our warranty. Great and exceptional customer service.
My husband and I were there last night for a diagnostic test. Turned out we needed a new battery for my Chevy. Corey, the associate, made everything super easy and was very accommodating. He checked on us multiple times as we changed the battery in the parking lot and made an inconvenient situation much better. Afterwards, he ran another diagnostic to make sure the alternator was good and to see if anything else had to be replaced. Thanks to him, I can now drive at ease knowing everything is good again. Not to mention, he stood with us in the rain....talk about going the extra mile. Thank you again Corey! 😁
I have never been disappointed going there. They give good advice and will even replace your batteries or wiper blades for you. Staff is uniformly terrific. Their hours are great too.
