I reached out to these guys, explained my issues with car, and expectation of having car checked out and possibly ready same day. The shop rep was straight forward with me and that he'd get car checked out as soon as it arrives. I Had it towed to the shop and 2 hours later the car was ready.
Reasonably priced. Straight forward. Good shop. 👍 good people, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs car serviced

Very nice family-owned business. They've been in business for over 49 years, so they are obviously doing something right. The owner took me in right away, with barely any wait. That was so appropriated! I will be back for more work on my car soon.
Ron and his crew are great. They worked on my car many times. Usually they get my car in and out in one day. Only twice they had to keep it longer once when changing my headlights. Being they had to rewire them and the second time was doing the heater core.
Went in for a walk-in oil change /tire rotation for my diesel RAM 3500. Saw me right away. Owner Ron saw me right away and my truck was done in 30 minutes. Nice waiting room. Professional and courteous. I’ve already recommended Mighty to friends.
I have a 2013 Nissan and out of convenience have always taken it to the dealer for all of my maintenance and repair work. Recently, my check engine light went on and they “couldn’t tell exactly what was wrong” so they recommended I replace my catalytic converter and oxygen sensors for over $4,200. I then took it to Mighty Discount Automotive who diagnosed the problem immediately, ordered the part and repaired my car with only what was needed to be done. It is incredibly hard to find honest mechanics, especially as a single woman. I can’t stress enough how great Ron and his team are. Simply the BEST!! They’ve added a lifelong customer in me. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Ron and his crew have always been there for me and my family's vehicles. For every vehicle that i've had repaired, they give it to you straight up front and then they do excellent work to get you back on the road. He's always been the best as far as i'm concerned.
Do not take your car to these crooks!!!! I took my car there and they started replacing random parts without letting me know ,they also cleared the code just to pass inspection and the check engine light came back the next day, I had to pay them almost $800 and the problem is still there so yeah they stole my money!!!!!

As I waited for my oil change, I watched 3 customers walk in for service.
The owner greeted them all by name!
You certainly won’t see that at a mavis type chain.
Not to mention, my oil change was done by the same mechanics that replaced my engine. It was not a 17 year old on summer vacation.
And
They did not try to hock me air filters and wiper blades that I didn’t need!

It was cheaper than jiffy lube! (Don’t ask me how) especially since every time you go to a chain shop, you are taking a chance that the kids don’t cross thread and strip your oil plug and your oil leaks out on the expressway! Now that’s expensive!
I can actually go on for quite a while why this place is a night and day difference.

if you are an immigrant here in the country, avoid going there. The treatment is terrible, each time I visited the place he spent a different price. Always increasing the value with each question. As I didn't have time, I was forced to do the work with them, they gave me the car with a crooked steering wheel, that is, my car goes straight with the steering wheel turned to the right. I'm sure if I go back there, he'll want to charge me to correct their incompetence. I really don't recommend it.
I am very happy with their work. I come here to do service on my vehicle whenever I cannot do it myself (because of special tools needed) and every time I come here I leave very satisfied with their service. They are competent at their job and I highly recommend them. They are very honest mechanics!
It would be great if they install a Coffee machine whenever they have clients waiting for their cars though.

I have been looking for a mechanic since I moved here and I finally found one..I have been burnt by Firestone in coram. I met the owner Ron today and had some issues with my lights found out it's a electrical problem . After looking at it for an hour he found out he has to order a module. It will take a few days and he said he will have it done then. Did not charge me and gave me a fair price for the upcoming repair. Nice clean shop and very professional and friendly. I will be bringing all my trucks there in the future..
Ron and his crew are the best around. They do great work, get the car back to you quickly and are honest! We use the for our personal vehicles and my commercial dump truck. They are great with Diesel engines as well
I recently had my car inspection done at Mighty. It was quick and painless. Ron was very honest and only charged $10 for a safety inspection, because my car is new. He could have easily charged the $39, but was honest about it. That is a quality you don't find everywhere. I will continue to use mighty for all my car needs in the future. ( so will my husband)
Ron and his sons are all great people. I've been bringing my diesel truck to him for several years now. He always gets my problems fixed and does it quickly and at a price that I can afford. He recently helped me out when I really needed it and I know 99% of most shops would never have done what he did for me. I absolutely trust them and would refer anyone I know to see them for automotive repairs.
Wonderful staff, affordable prices! I'm still a relatively new car owner and Ron was able to quell any anxiety I had about my car. He always made sure to communicate any issues with my car as soon as he found it and diagnosed/fixed it in a timely manner. Even encouraged me to chill out in the deli next door while my car was being worked on and promised me he'd come and find me with any updates (which he did!)
I went in for an inspection through a co workers recommendation for my 2012 Jeep Liberty. Ron and his staff were fast, efficient, and friendly. Ron gave me information about a recall for my vehicle and held friendly conversation with me as I waited. I will return for any future work I may need and recommend others to come here too!
I have nothing but great things to say about Ron and his crew. They are honest, fair and have kept my girlfriends car running for years. 220,000 miles! We drive here an hour from Lindenhurst, because we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great customer service, fast and thorough work. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend Mighty!
In a world full of cynical people, it has become increasingly challenging to find people you can feel a trustworthy rapport with. My experiences have led me to be very apprehensive of anything a mechanic says, simply because we do not know who's interest is really being protected.
I can say that when I first took my vehicle to Ron and his team a couple of years back, they have since re-instilled my belief that there are good operating mechanics outside of a dealerships watchful eye. They were able to repair my transmission and many other routine repairs. To this day I currently still take my vehicle here.
The prices are reasonable, but the craftsmanship is excellent. Every job is complete without needing to revisit. He is a family man as well as a businessman and understands how to get the job done right.
