I came in to ask about having original Mercedes-spec engine mounts installed. I asked how an OEM mount he installed on another customer’s car could fail in about a year, and instead of explaining installation or quality, he got defensive and refused to do the work. If a basic question shuts the mechanic down, I’m not trusting them with $1k+ of labor, so I took my business somewhere else.
Harold and his crew do great work! They replaced the clutch and dual mass flywheel on my 2012 Sportwagen TDI 6MT 177k miles. He gave me a labor estimate and stuck to the price quoted. I drove the car for a long time with a failing flywheel and all sorts of noises. Noises are all gone and it feels like I'm driving a different car now. Thank you H&H!!!
Harold is extremely knowledgeable and very honest. Always tells it like it is and doesn't try to upsell you. I've had multiple Mercedes worked on by him and he never disappoints. Strongly recommend!

I would steer clear of this shop! I went there for years, you can’t get in when you call or show up. I’ve waited a month with a car down. You never think that the time wasted will add up but then it does. I have had wrong procedures done before stumbling into the right repair. He always seemed to break something else along the way. He’s tied up my cars for months without end. I finally got thrown out because I needed something fixed that he was near to last time around. Yes, he fixes German cars! But you have to go through the ringer… You get the sense that chaos reigns supreme here.
I called Harold on Tuesday due to my Driveshaft was going on my car. Harold gave me all the information over the phone. Without even meeting me.
He was very nice and understanding. He advised me not to drive my car and to have it towed. I had my car towed to his shop. He was up front with all the prices and even called with additional things I needed.
He advised my car would be ready the next day. And it was.
Harold is a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be going back to have additional work done.

I would just like to say that Harold, and staff are the best around, they did hard jobs on my cls55 amg and I'm so happy with the work they did car runs great. Very reasonable pricing, he is a true master Mercedes mechanic he takes the time to go over every detail with you and gives you options.
