This happened a few years ago. Our car suddenly started making a horrible noise; I initially feared something bad had happened to the engine, perhaps a blown spark plug. We took it to Autotopia. They investigated and informed us that a plate at the bottom of the car was just loose. They screwed it back on and charged a very nominal labor fee. They easily could have told us it was a major issue and charged an exorbitant amount, but they didn't. This honesty and integrity have been consistent throughout the more than 10 years they have maintained our vehicles. I truly got lucky finding them and deeply appreciate the reliable service they provide. Their prices are always reasonable, and we haven't had a single opportunity to complain about any work they've done on our two cars.

I drop my car off in the morning and pick it up the same day...every....single....time. They do not miss a beat. Before finding Autotopia, I made the mistake of trying Jiffy Lube. Every visit felt like a sales pitch—they'd push air filters and "premium" oil, making me second-guess what I actually needed. The final straw came when they botched my oil change and my car started leaking oil. Like how does a shop screw up an oil change!? That's when I first went to Autotopia, and Tony fixed the problem immediately. What I appreciate most about Autotopia is that nobody tries to upsell you! They focus on keeping your car safe and running well, period. I've never had a single issue with any work they've done. It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to be certain about their reliability. After five years, they've earned my complete trust. My only regret? Not finding them sooner. I won't be taking my car anywhere else!

Auto-Topia honestly saved the day!!!! I was on a long drive from NJ when I got a flat tire from a nail and stopped here for help. They took me right in for an emergency tire plug and were so nice, helpful, and thorough. They explained everything, made sure the tire was safe, and had me back on the road in no time. It’s VERY RARE to find people this genuine and caring. I’m super grateful for their help and definitely recommend them to anyone in the area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Tony runs the kind of shop that’s becoming rare these days: reliable, respectful, and deeply customer-focused. You can tell he and his crew take real pride in what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work. And, on a slightly funny but very sincere note — I always need to call out whoever applies the new inspection sticker to my windshield. They manage to line it up perfectly straight and in alignment with my registration sticker every time! Update: As promised I took my daughter’s car for a tune up. It’s an older car so I expected it needed maintenance. Tony was so good to me. He told me what he recommended I do and what could wait. I was in and out in two hours with a car I knew my daughter would be safe in. I highly recommend Auto Topia. I had a great experience at Auto Topia. I needed a car handle installed. The job was complete under and hour at a great price. I will definitely return with my other cars.

Having my cars maintained and repaired at Auto-Topia in Amityville about 25 times over the past 14 years, I've had plenty of time and experience with this company to form a solid opinion on their value to us. Every visit there has had good results; my now growing older car runs as well as ever! At the same time, Auto-Topia is a very honestly run company and their pricing is always fair. Tony and Kevin always keep their customers fully informed on what needs to be done, what to expect, and they do it in a respectful manner. In baseball terms, Auto-Topia is batting 1.000. This week they outdid themselves. My air conditioner stopped working suddenly, and with no notice Auto-Topia agreed to look at the car (as they always do). To make a long story short, the problem turned out to be a freak issue. But the point was that Tony and his crew spent three hours diagnosing the issue and consulting with outside specialists, and in this way the quirky problem, which a normal diagnosing process may well have missed, was identified. And then after all that, Tony spent enough time to explain to me what had happened in a very methodical and understandable way. Instead of being passed off to a dealership and paying, perhaps three times the amount that I did, the job was completed to the satisfaction of all. This rating of five stars is actually an understatement.

I know my way around a car and these guys are the most honest and straightforward mechanics I’ve ever met. I have three 20 year old cars and they handle every problem big or small. Been going to auto-topia for 7 years and I won’t go anywhere else.

Ive been taking my cars here since 2010 and have always had stellar experiences. They not only take great care of the cars that come in, but of the customers as well. Honesty and integrity are always prioritized by the whole staff. All my questions are always answered in a way I can easily understand, and unlike other places, I NEVER feel forced or strategically "upsold" into agreeing to work that the car doesnt actually need. Tony, Richie, and Kevin are always patient and kind when I do have questions or concerns, and Chris and Dennis always do excellent, timely work. Highly recommend this local family owned business to anyone looking for a great shop!

Recently purchased a 2010 Camry from Auto-Topia and I could not be more grateful for the dedication and honesty from Tony and his team.
