I recently purchased a Bad Boy mower from Avon Power Equipment. Everyone I worked with were knowledgeable about their products, friendly, and accommodating. It was an excellent experience! It's worth the drive to Avon.

I’ve had to take my Kabuto riding lawn mower in a few times and honestly I don’t think these people have had actually done any work, or they’re just really bad at repairing mowers. Dropped it off, picked it up, then dropped it off again only to have the thing smoke when I tried to use it. Looked under it, the belt is shredded. I don’t think these people have eyes because they would have seen an issue had they bothered to look. Earlier in the year I had the oil changed and then two months later I had an oil leak which they repaired. I’m at the point where I think they’re breaking things on purpose. I don’t know what else to think. My latest bill was 900$ and they never even sent me an invoice. Over it.

I had a very good customer experience at APE. Mike was a joy to interact with through all phases of the process while purchasing my Husqvarna.

This place has everything you need for any type of residential lawn work (and possibly more!), and they will consult with you to ensure that you are purchasing the right piece of equipment for the jobs you’ll be doing. They won’t just sell you anything. They also have a very convenient pick-up and drop-off service for tune-ups and repairs (assuming you’re in the area), and are reasonably priced…We are very happy we found this group!

I purchased a Bad Boy Rogue at Avon Power Equip in May of this year and traded in my Bad Boy Renegade. Mike was easy to deal with and we reached a fair price. I have purchased a mower from here a bad boy and I love it, recently took my husky chain saws there for a service and to rebuild the clutch cover cuz the spring popped out. Great people, very friendly and they care about you and your business.

Bought a compact utility tractor from here and the service was impeccable! I ended up considering John Deere and Kubota as options, but at the end of the day LS seemed like the best deal as far as what you’re getting for what you’re spending, and Mike went the extra mile to make sure I was able to get everything I wanted with implements. If you’re in the market for lawn care equipment, I’d recommend this place to anyone!

AWESOME!!!! The crew at Avon Power Equipment is great. I had a mower that was under warranty and needed some repair. I did not have the purchase receipt. They went out of their way and contacted Husqvarna and worked with them to get my repair done under warranty. Great guys, sure wish there were more places like this!!

I had gone to a place in Victor, not very helpful or friendly. So I decided to go to power equipment in Avon. The owner and staff were very helpful. I ended up getting a Spartan mower. Very happy with the price, and the machines performance.

Mike and Marsha did a great job allowing me to find the right mower with no pressure. Took the time to explain everything. Got a good deal and 0% financing! Delivery was right on time.

We were looking for a golf cart for neighborhood use and my husband found the “eNVy” neighborhood vehicle. It was exactly what we were looking for! After searching around, APE was the only dealer who had them in stock to drive. They are so fun and much more than a golf cart. The owner Mike is absolutely FANTASTIC to work with! He is honest and reliable. He even delivered it to our location 2 hours away on a Saturday! (For an extremely reasonable fee). I once overheard him on the phone with a customer telling the person they could probably get the part cheaper at tractor supply instead of ordering through him. What a guy! I don’t think we are in the market for mowers or equipment , but I will definitely refer him and APE when I can!

First of all, I am yet to make any purchase of a new zero turn. That being said, my experience there was phenomenal. The owner dealt with me directly. He is authentic, polite, and knowledgeable. He was not pushy or rude. That might not sound like much, but I still haven't heard back from Land Pro/John Deere nor the local Ferris dealer. Tells me a lot!

This dealer Is awesome, knowledgeable and honest. They helped me find a riding mower that would meet my needs. They are not totally in it for the money, I was able to negotiate a bit, and got a great deal! Please do yourself some justice and chat with these folks.

So far this review is based on the first day purchase of my zero turn.... SMOOTH and friendly. Dan said he would deliver the next day, and then after a few mins, he had agreed to do a same day delivery. Im happy with their customer service, and based on that, i will be back for any service and maintenance on the mower! I appreciate you!

Marcia and Rich have done a nice job throughout the years keeping the shop clean, well stocked, well staffed, and having the work done honestly and timely. I’ve been going there for over 10 years; my first purchase was a Cub Cadet snow thrower which I still own today. I bought it from Rich during a snow storm. These people are accountable and will make it right for their good customers. They know me by name, either on the phone or in person. If you want dependable work done on any of your outdoor equipment, then look no further!
