Was only able to buy the parts that we needed and that was spark plugs they weren't going to even help with tools which is just one socket and wrench what is this world come to? they wanted us to pay for them, don't they have extra tools for people to use?
Auto zone is great as long as you dont speak to Collin. The people find the answers if they dont know them and are very friendly. Collin is a know it all and snarky and rude.
Pre ordered parts but when I came in had to wait for cashier... to even come to counter then had to wait for her to find part that was supposed to be put on hold.... other than that it went well
If I could give a negative review I would. Do not shop here when Griffen Weeks is working. He called me A RETARD on the phone with another employee while on speaker. I will never set foot in this store again.
Stopped here to get a headlight for my vehicle employee added a package of light lube without my knowledge I noticed it in my receipt as soon as I got in my car but i didn't have it so I immediately went back in to get it he acted like I already took it in front of the other employee... very disturbing and disappointing... my mechanic never used it so I will be taking it back for a full refund and as long as that employee is working there I won't be back... very shady
Go to their commercial sales manager ayas they can't price match advance auto parts. What a joke loose over 30 buck's cuz manager can't make decisions for themselves without store manager need to put red shirt back on for sure not ready for responsibilities
Poor service, grumpy and unfriendly customer service, lack of knowledge on the most basic of mechanical knowledge and cross referencing between stores. Thank god hornell has an advanced auto. Don’t waste your money in this shed of sh!the@ds.
Our camper broke down at a Pilot station 4 hours from home at the beginning of a cross country road trip about 30 minutes from this AutoZone. Tristan Yocum, the Sales Manager, came out first thing the next morning on his day off to replace the Starter which had burned. Turns out our 1992 camper had 1991 parts and we had to go back to AutoZone for the correct part and then back to the Pilot Station. The battery was very low so we purchased a new one, but again it was the wrong year so Tristan drove behind us to the Hornell AutoZone (and the camper even died just getting on to the entrance ramp and he had to jumpstart it with his car!). Once we were at AutoZone, the camper just wouldn't start, with the old battery or new one! Tristan then replaced the solenoid (and also the starter again due to it somehow burning out again). After spending his entire Sunday working on our camper, he finally got it started and we followed his suggestion of heading back home instead of proceeding on the road trip. He even suggested NOT turning the camper off even when we had to stop for gas since he realized we would be stuck once again. We made it home safe and sound and Tristan even checked on us to make sure we got home ok! He is a true gem! I don't know what we would have done without him that day! Needless to say we left the camper home and continued our roadtrip the next day in our SUV - if we had time we would have loved to stop by and thank him once again!!! Thanks so much for everything Tristan! :)
Pretty good place...they help you with whatever items you're looking for and also help with a few easy car things you need help with...like changing a battery....
The store manager is extremely rude. When shown visual proof that "this IS the part I need", and he doesn't take the time to help figure it out, well, it's time to find a new auto parts store.
Alternator died just outside of town. Made it to Autozone. Staff was great. Had the part in stock and I was able to change the part with the stores lending tools right in the parking lot. Even the battery was under warranty. Hour later back on the road .
Honestly I usually stay away from auto zone because they rarely give me the Correct parts. This time I called about a speed sensor spoke with a women she was nothing but rude and told me I was incorrect after I gave all of the proper information. I Have previously installed this part there is only one sensor. She proceeded to raise her voice saying I was incorrect and there was two. Don’t recommend at all if you want to be disrespected after fixing cars your whole life then go here
The sales associate I dealt with was knowledgeable and quick to look up the calipers for my car. They didn't have them in Stock but had them shipped to the store free of charge and arrived the following morning (I stopped in around 5pm). The prices were fair and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. I picked up the calipers the next day with no hassles.
Usually don't have a problem, went in because my sister locked her keys in her car and we weren't aware that bladders were illegal in NYS. The young man behind the counter was nice enough stating that they did not carry them, but the older gentleman with white hair and a mustache proceeded to berate us about the legality of it loudly enough that we just walked out. I found his tone and the way he said it to be extremely rude and as someone who works in customer service cannot believe such a large chain would allow this kind of low standard in their business.
Fantastic customer service, very rarely do they keep you waiting. Soon as you walk in there right there at your service, great employees. Not only that, very kind and helpful with what you need. Very rarely send you home with the wrong part.
Super slow, one person in front of me and I waited over a half an hour to return a set of brake pads. Go figure with two managers and two other employees all working at that time.. save yourself time and ass ache, go to Advanced Auto
Nice people. If they do not have a part in the store they will order it for you either you go in person or you call on the phone. They respond on the phone very fast. Well, the service in general is very fast. Also a day to check engine light and if you ever need to dispose your old change oil they will take it. My only disappointment was that they tell me that they were going to call me when the part was in the store and once they forgot to call me. The service in general is very fast. Another thing I like is that if another store has a part cheaper than their prices they would change it if you proof that the other place has it for cheaper.
I would give negative stars if possible. Staff is not the most helpful and parts never arrive when they say that they will. Go to Advance Auto instead, staff knows much more about parts and they are very helpful.
