I needed a fairly complex print job done quickly -- I placed the order on a Wednesday afternoon and I needed to pick it up by Friday at noon. When uploading the job online, the system said that the print job wouldn't be finished until Saturday night. When I called the store, the associate in the printing department was extremely kind and helpful and assured me they would meet the deadline.
I got an email that the job was done on Thursday afternoon -- more than 24 hours before I needed it, and less than 24 hours after I'd placed the order! Not only were they fast, but they did a perfect job. 10/10!Feb 11, 2026 -

When walking in today, it felt just as cold inside as it did outside. Most workers were in coats and hats and I could understand why they made that choice. Even with the industry heater they had inside it still wasn’t enough to keep anyone warm.
To hear that this has been going on since winter started and that general manager has been fighting for there workers for heat and higher up’s or even building management hasn’t done nothing is sad.
Despite these conditions, the staff shows up with a smile on there faces ready to help and continue to be the dedicated professionals I've come to know. They deserve recognition and better working conditions.Feb 01, 2026 -

I’ve always had great experiences with the employees at this location. I’m writing this review out of concern for them, as the store has reportedly had no heat for most of the winter. Today, it felt just as cold inside as it did outside. Most were working in the coats and hats and I could understand why they made that choice.
Despite these conditions, the staff showed up and continued to be the dedicated professionals I’ve come to know. They deserve recognition and better working conditions. I hope anyone reading this will consider calling 311 to report the issue. The employees truly deserve better.Feb 01, 2026 -

Closed early on Christmas Eve. Locked me out Flippant staff wouldn’t even look at me a I stood outside. They didn’t answer the phones, the doors and they don’t answer to management either.
There’s no future for retail staples if these are the people working there. They simply don’t appreciate what a job is. Staples - Amazon is always open. Might as well close this branch too.
Smells like they’re busy smoking Yule logs instead of helping shoppers get last minute shopping done. Probably ten people pretending to work.
Hey if you don’t want people Outside of your closed doors - answer your phones and update your hours online and on your answering system. Would’ve loved to save the trip here for an iPad.Dec 24, 2025 -

Once upon a time Customer Service was a real thing...you know smiling, patience, exploring potential options...Well it is alive and well at Staples. And I was very grateful for the ease of my shopping because the associates really wanted to help me find what was my best option. Attitude starts at the top and trickles down. Might be worth getting some stock in Staples, whomever is at the top I tip my hat to them as well.

The staples itself is fine, I'm just writing the review cause they don't upkeep the side walk and parking lots weeding. I'd do it myself if they weren't so long and disgusting. They seriously need a weed Wacker to cut them. It's sad to walk on this street because of how ugly the tree beds are. I'd be a lot more likely to come here if they actually cared about maintaining their sidewalk. I mean sure, they could put the blame on the city for not doing it but it's really not the cities problem. Also a lot of the weeds are inside the parking lot. Please help beautify our neighborhood staples.

The staff at this Staples location (specifically the copy center and cashiers) have been extremely helpful and friendly, in my experience. They have gone above and beyond, with a smile, to help me!

It's a box store that is part of a chain. This store's staff is always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgable about what they sell. I have no complaints against my local store and rely on them for printing documents and regular purchases.

Probably the worst Staples I've been to. I went in person to check for an item to be told by multiple staff members they do not have it in stock, then while I was in the parking lot, I was able to purchase it online for 30 min pick up. Waited in the car and then walked back in to pick up the item they told me was out of stock.
I've also tried ordering multiple items that showed in stock online and once I purchased pick up, I would get another email shortly saying it is out of stock at this location.
With these two instances, it just feels this location is a bit shady...Aug 17, 2025 -
Extremely disappointing experience. I paid for a poster print and received an email confirmation that it was ready. When I came to pick it up the next day, the staff claimed their Wi-Fi was down and refused to help. Even though I had the order number and my name, no one made any effort to locate it manually. Several employees just stood around doing nothing—disrespectful, dismissive, and lazy. This was a carefully planned birthday gift, and they completely ruined it. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS

I visited Staples to get a photo taken and showed the employee a document from my company with clear instructions. Instead of assisting me professionally, she asked, “Do you understand English?” — in a condescending and disrespectful tone. This was completely inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A company like Staples should ensure its staff treats every customer with basic respect and professionalism, regardless of background or language. I hope management addresses this and provides proper training to prevent this kind of behavior in the future.

I received excellent service in this location: Jackeline was amazing, attentive and very helpful. I needed to do a large, multi-hundred $ job with laminated signs and large color posters on a very tight timeline.
She took the order despite the later time of day and promised to work on it after the store closure, guided me through the most advantageous price and available discounts, printed what was possible on the spot - and everything else was ready the next morning.

BEWARE – My Package Was Tampered With After Dropping Off at Staples #0957
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Staples #0957 on 4th Avenue. I dropped off a package for UPS on May 26, 2025, at 4:21 PM EST, and I even have a photo as proof of the drop-off. However, the UPS tracking shows the package wasn’t scanned into their system until May 27 at 11:00 PM—almost 31 hours later. At first, I gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe the Memorial Day holiday caused a delay.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When my package arrived at StockX for verification, I was informed that the item inside had been swapped—instead of the men’s sport shorts I shipped, the box contained a woman’s dress. This was both shocking and infuriating. I have never experienced this before, and to make matters worse, I was fined by StockX for “shipping the wrong item.”
It’s clear that somewhere between dropping off at Staples and the UPS scan, someone tampered with my package. I trusted this Staples location to securely handle my shipment, but now I question whether they have the proper safeguards in place to prevent theft or mishandling.
If you’re planning to drop off packages here, think twice. I would strongly advise using another UPS access point or going directly to a UPS store unless you’re willing to risk your item being stolen or swapped.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others. Do better, Staples.May 31, 2025 -

Am trying to get my sewing groove going and needed a desk that I can sew and cut my materials on, so I went to staples a friendly sales rep name Dylan and assisted me as I could not make up my mind going back and forth for about 20 minutes after speaking to him I figured what I wanted he helped get the heavy box on the trolley rang it up and even helped with the loading into the truck which me and my husband was incredibly grateful. I felt like Dylan went above and beyond to help us, and we appreciate that . Thank you once again. Ps. If you enjoyed my review, please like it and feel free to follow.

It's not like I haven't experienced some bad service here like others here have described--I have--but for the most part, I've found the staff here to be quite helpful and polite. It also offers a lot of amenities (postal service, copy center, etc) and has ample parking, which is a rarity in Brooklyn.
