At first i was skeptical, giving how mixed the reviews looked from my phone. My desktop (being as expensive as it was) was making a loud screeching noise, and I'm not exactly comfortable leaving or driving it anywhere, so i made sure to call in advanced to get an idea. They were super vocal, very clear on a set price, I'm sure if people were looking to save money they could just invest in the part first to have it installed instead of complaining about it in a review. Where i just paid for the part i needed upfront and had it replaced. Very satisfied with my repair and I'll be sure to update my review if i do randomly start having problems, (Within at least a couple weeks) which i pray i don't. 10/10 experience! highly suggest this location for repairs, only real issue i had was the parking. relocating would certainly bring in more business and make it easier on customers.

I recently had two visits to Level Up Electronics that resulted in excellent service. While at an event, my computer went to a blue screen and could not be restarted with multiple error messages showing up. I reached out to Level Up Electronics and they told me to bring it it. They gave me a reasonably priced range for fixing it. I was worried that I would lose what was on the device, as some of my files hadn't been backed up. In 2 days I got my device back with almost all of my files recovered, a new hard drive and functioning happy computer. Relieved is an understatement. Several days later another issue came about. I walked in to the store, worried that I was going to just need a new computer. In 5 minutes they diagnosed the issue, showed me how to fix it on my own next time, and I walked out. I highly suggest going to Level Up Electronics when you have an issue! Great Prices, Great Customer Service, Friendly and Knowledgeable, Please give this local business your support!

Great group of guys. They helped us with a part that we were not sure what type to get. Very reasonable pricing too. When it come to looking for new laptop ,we will go there.

Go in here often with my boyfriend and friends and we almost always find something cool or worth while, the prices are fair and trading in stuff is a breeze.I have even brought my laptop to them for “not charging” and it was fixed within 48 hours closer to 24! I highly recommend them as them are clearly very knowledgeable on what they are selling and doing!!!

Awesome store first time doing business with level up great experience I had work are super helpful friendly I got a vita ( 1000 OLED model ) 2 games since there was no memory card I ask if they can lower the price ( they give me the case for free ) highly recommend this store I will definitely do business with them again and again huge thanks for a awesome first time experience Hope you like seeing the vita and my PSP

Disappointed my ram went within a year on my laptop I purchased here. I brought my laptop to his shop to have him look it over but, he returned it to me saying the ram was just loose. I openly questioned his diagnosis saying I thought my ram was going bad but, he reassured me it was fine. Within an hour it crashed again. This time I taught myself how to replace my ram and now I have no issues. I think it's important to teach yourself how to self-diagnose. You can't always rely on others and although he was nice, I think the little things you should do for yourself. Replacing the ram was cheap and easy. Anyone can do it.

I go here anytime I’m looking to buy something a bit cheaper than brand new. Everything is quality, i recently have picked up a gaming laptop, a monitor and an Xbox here. As well as a 360 and a few other consoles over the years, buying and selling here is always a pleasant experience.

When it comes to selling things here. Do your research on it yourself first. The demeanor they give is very much a facade. They are out to make a quick buck from people who don't know what they're selling. They act like everybody who has a PC uses the highest end specs. Newsflash, the most popular new graphics card sold nowadays is 2 generations behind the newest one. New computer parts are hard for people to come by. I would give a positive review if it wasn't for the fact that you guys are taking advantage of people. It's a gross practice. I do not recommend anyone to sell things here (let alone buy). I made the mistake of doing so years ago. Thankfully didn't today.

Thought my gaming PC was absolutely bricked so I brought it to these guys. They promised to have it fixed in 2 days and sure as hell I had it back in 2 days completely fixed at a reasonable price. 10/10 service would definitely come back when I brick my PC in the future.

Very nice owner, I think prices are relatively fair considering convenience and speed of services. I would recommend this service and will come back again to get my PC deep cleaned as they do a great job with that. Edit: revisited a year later, still pretty good service and knowledgable, they get the work done as promised. However the SSD I got after having them fix my PC I paid $120 for however the MSRP on Amazon is only $55. Partially my fault because I could've asked, however there is a steep profit margin there IMO. However PC is still running better.

I brought my PC to LevelUp Electronics after running into an issue where my monitor wouldn’t display anything even after I took it apart and troubleshot it for hours. Turned out the BIOS needed updating. Chris was great—very friendly and professional. Even though they were busy, they had my computer fixed within 2 days. The whole process was quick, and they kept me informed about what was going on. I’m really happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing computer repairs.

My sister and her bf went back there due to the PS5 not working right. She told me about the ordeal. I know my nephew and for that matter, that no one else tampered with it! Very bad business ethics to not try and help in some way! They are not locals from there. My nephew was looking forward to a working PS5 and now he is disappointed!

Every time I go there I get low balled for example imagine suggesting $25 for $60 worth of games, good luck to whoever sells stuff and he also doesn’t check the systems very well I got a Wii there that shit the bed a week later.

Although they weren't able to help with my particular pc problem, the staff was still great to work with and I recommend them to anyone with computer troubles or projects. They also have a great selection of retro gaming products!

Brought in my laptop after a devestating wine accident. Everyone I called said it was probably dead but Level Up happily said they'd take a look. The owner took it home to work on it himself and got it up and running! Super friendly service; very communicative and welcoming. Will be returning

Came here on a Friday afternoon with my "dead" laptop (Dell). It was not taking a charge and I assumed it needed a new battery. The very personable owner, Chris, immediately took the computer and connected it to a charging adapter to make sure the battery was dead. Lo and behold, the computer started charging. I told Chris I had been using a $ 55 universal adaptor I purchased at Best Buy which is why I assumed the problem was the battery. Chris produced a Dell adaptor which he said with a wide smile was $ 25, not $ 55. We tested it to make sure it worked, it did, and I left a very happy customer. I strongly recommend and suggest that you keep Chris in mind if you have any computer issues. This is the place to go in Plattsburgh. Forget the big box stores whose staff may, or may not be computer savvy. Chris is the man. By the way, I chose to come here because of the great reviews of Chris. Trust me they are all spot on. Highly recommended.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable owner and staff. Made my friend and I a heck of a deal and we felt incredibly comfortable the entire visit. Bar none the best video game store in Plattsburgh and possibly the best in the state. If you are thinking of going, just go, it will be well worth it! Thanks again guys ?

Awesome store. I had a problem with my computer brought it in and the guys were more than happy to help. Within 5 minutes he had my computer working again and he had the charger I needed in stock. Excellent local business.

I don't know why it took me so long to write a review about this awesome collectable store. I live about 9 hours away but have family in the area, and this store is ALWAYS a must visit when I'm in the area. The biggest area this place nails is the atmosphere. You won't find a cleaner, well put together place with friendly staff than Level Up. I always bring things to sell to the owner, and as someone who also resells online, his trade-in offers are understandable for the convenience of being able to just drop off stuff. I would say that he could expand his selection of figures besides Funko Pops; but that could have to do with what people are trading in. All in all, awesome place to stop in, even just to chat with the employees.

If this person was a son of someone at Grizzles, why would they only recommend Level Up Electronics as a place to buy and sell games to on Marketplace and not the other store? Plus I saw the same person I sold it to in the shop behind a counter. So no, I will not be taking the review down The owner here seems very nice, but some of the tactics his employees/family uses for trade ins and selling. Recently sold a video game system to someone who turned out to be the owners son for $20, only for them to put the system on sale in their store for $120. Plus some of the prices in the store seem to be a bit higher than other stores in the area. I understand needing to make a profit but when one store has the same item for $40 cheaper, theres no excuse for that

I have trust issues when it comes to giving anyone access to anything electronic of mine. But these guys have really earned my trust. For reasonable prices and good recommendations for new software, they've proven that they know what they're doing and can be trusted. I find the service to be extremely friendly and understanding. I do plan on going back a lot more. My favorite place in Plattsburgh!

Chris is the real deal. We were very lucky to find Level Up to build my sons very computer. He went out of his way to get our computer built in just 2 days, even doing some customizing to get the features we wanted to fit. 100% satisfied.... this is the place to go.

I drive an hour to get here and its always great to stop in and see what's new. Been coming here for a few years now and Chris is always helpful and up for chat about new stuff. Bought a laptop from him a while back and it still works great. Nice to have a game/electronics store that is locally owned.

I recently traded 2 older wii consoles with the cables and got a fair trade in credit of $60. My son (4 years old) likes to play on our Sega Genesis, and wanted some fun games. We selected 4 games, that we fairly priced (all from $7 -$15) and 1 controller. The total should have been over $60, but the wonderful woman that was helping us, said the total was just going to be the $60. For my son, this experience was a great learning and exciting moment. He saw that you can trade in 1 fun iteam of another. He left the store wanting to go back, because there was so many "cool" things for him to see. He also liked how nice the lady was who helped us. We will trade/shop there again for sure!

I bought a used Nikon Camera. It was in excellent condition and I've been enjoying it! Great place and the woman who owns the shop was very pleasant, helpful as well as patient. She even looked online with me as we compared features and ratings of two of the cameras I was considering. She couldn't have been more helpful than that! I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this shop! They're opening another location in Plattsburgh as well.
