Staff is always very helpful both on the phone and in person . I'm there almost every other day for one thing or another. Can be busy at times but that just shows people go where they can get a good product, excellent service, and reliable and helpful tips on auto repairs. Thanks for the help, keep up the good work.
No matter when I stop for parts, I'm treated well and with respect. I appreciate the staff going above and beyond to help me get what I need and even putting on windshield wipers when I needed it because my arm was in a sling. Kudos. Great staff and decent prices!
I was in need of a part for my car and called the Della Kia parts department first (as I have a Kia) and had a very poor experience. The sales associate was rude, pushy and just couldn't wait to get off the phone with me. My next call was to Advance Auto Parts. The man that answered was so kind and patient. He ordered the part I needed at half the price and answered all my questions. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!! I know where I'll be going next time I need another part!
Went to Advanced Auto to replace a new wind shield wiper that had broken off after a few months. Lee was very courteous and replaced it right away. Chris the manger didn't charge me despite not having a receipt. As always, I will be returning to this store for all my automotive needs.
We had a problem with our vehicle when we returned from a trip to Florida on a Saturday. We drove to the store because our vehicle had the check engine light. An employee named David performed an OBD2 scan and quickly determined that there was a problem with my ignition coil pack. The part was in stock and I was able to change it in the parking lot. I am very happy with the service I received and highly recommend this business. 5 stars for David's service !!
Very knowledgeable, michelle is the best, I never paid an unfair price, never waited more than 1 day for any part not in stocks, returning an unused/unneeded part was never a hassle. I'll go here everything, from now on. It's nice to find people who care as much as ur vehicle and ur piece of mind as u do...it's comforting...
Use to be a really nice store to go to. Now it's a hassle for them to answer the phone, numerous times I'm on hold for 10 minutes plus. Wouldn't recommend this store no more .
Always my first stop when looking for parts. Depends what your buying but some prices are cheaper then other stores. The sales associates always offer assistance if you need help finding something.
The staff here has been the most friendly and helpful out of all the parts stores in the Plattsburgh area. I find myself going here out of loyalty instead of just ordering from Amazon.

On my most recent visit to Advance Auto Parts the store associate was very helpful but the store didn't have the 50/50 premixed antifreeze for a diesel truck that I desperately needed. The associate helped me review their antifreeze assortment to determine they didn't have the right item. He made good suggestions of other places to try. He was successful in finding the appropriate wrench I needed for a related repair and took the extra effort to remove the packaging to be sure it was the exact right size. Thank you for your assistance.
If the people in the store spent less time socializing with their friends and attending to business things maybe better. Pricing is higher than other places, and the team is not very welcoming. Won't go back to this place for sure
Placed an online order the other day went in to pick it up and I didn't have to wait at all I was greeted the minute I walked in they went and got my order and I was out in less then 2 mins. Great customer service from the gentlemen that waited on me that night.
Considering the fact that everyone is short on employees of these days the staff were very quick to assist me and very helpful. They had the part I needed at about half the price that I thought I was going to pay.
Today the staff knew the answers to my questions immediately, pointed me right to what I needed and then went even further to help. Great experience thanks to them.
They were very helpful with an order I placed on the internet. I purchased a new battery and they installed it for me, took the old one back and refunded my core charge all in about 15 mins. I will check there first in the future when an automotive need arrives.
My girlfriend Cindy went there with some breaklight troublesome the store manager Gerry went over the top to help her. Absolutely amazing service and a true gentleman. Always appreciate this team. The service is good here. They pay attention to their customers and help them get what they need in an efficient manner. The selection of products and their display is good. I can usually find what i need quickly and without assistance. When assistance is needed, it is ready and waiting.
Automotive parts and detailing accesories. You can find almost everything car related here. Stop in to pick up car parts/brakes from the counter, oil and oil filters wax wash or polishes and detailing products. Good selection of items and ok prices.
Overpriced. Went in to get an ABS sensor and they wanted $200, found one online for $80. Staff is courteous though. Good place to stop for lower priced items.
I previously had good experience with Advance vs some of the other Auto Parts stores. However, I'm not a fan anymore. I ordered some brake pads and was told that they would arrive in three days. That was better than my go to auto parts store could do, so I ordered them through Advance. Got a call the next day -good customer service- saying that the part would not arrive in three days, but that it would arrive in 5 days. Stopped in when the five days had elapsed and the brake pads had not arrived -bad customer service. I waited a week for the part to arrive and, when it finally did, it was the wrong brake pads.
I also waited on hold for five minutes to talk to the parts rep who was familiar with my order.
