I have been taking my vehicles to Scott for quite a few years now, with top notch service every time. The most recent experience was no different. I was needing to get the A/C compressor on my vehicle replaced. Not only did Scott & his wonderful team diagnose & replace it all in one day, but at a price of almost $600 less than the dealership & $250-$300 less than other shops that quoted me. Scott and his team genuinely care about providing the best service for their customers. He is up front and honest with what he finds on the vehicle. He is trustworthy, which to me, is the best thing you can find in a mechanic.

Honest but also dishonest. Honest that my car needed control arms and ball joints. However NYS doesn't say that you can fail someone or don't pass someone because of it. Clearly shows that this shop needs money or they won't pass someone.Went to another shop got my car passed and will be doing the work someone where else now.

I went here once for a quote on tires and oil change after leaving my old mechanics which was just way too expensive and never stopped going back. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable don't mind breaking down information for the car dummies (def me lol). Absolutely affordable also very convenient for me within walking distance. They truly take care of their customers and don't rip them off like some shops. I always recommend them to people all the time. I just love this shop.

Recently brought my car here for what I thought was going to be a significant and expensive repair. They ended up being able to fix the issue without replacing a part unnecessarily, saving me hundreds of dollars. I genuinely felt that they were not trying to take advantage of me and were looking to find ways to save me money. It was a surprisingly positive experience I’ve had with a car repair shop and I highly recommend!

I went to have an engine light indicator read, it said fuel valve, two days later they could get me in. I had the vehicle worked on, they told me I was all set and rung me out. I went to leave and my engine light was still on. The mechanic walks by me and asks “How long after you had the subwoofer installed did the engine light come on?” I answered that the subwoofer had been in for months and the engine light was on for three days. What does a subwoofer have to do with a fuel valve? Why are you even concerned with my subwoofer? Finds out the wiring harness that goes to valve was bad ( probably only needed that in the first place). They fixed that and the mechanic walks me out to tell me that he unplugged my camera because “he doesn’t like to be on camera”. He said “That’s the first time I got in a car and saw my own face on the screen and yeah I dont like that so I unplugged it.” My question is, what were you doing on the inside of my car that you don’t want to be on camera? You were supposed to be working underneath the car, not worrying about my subwoofer and camera. This situation seems shady and dishonest. I called the shop and spoke to Dani. Explained the situation and asked her to pass the information to Scott. I told her that mechanics actions cost them a customer. There was no apology, no customer service or satisfaction! This is after I gave them another chance after messing up my front brakes. Paid over $500 just to take more time off work for them to change the pads because they were making horrible noises.

Went here for a few years. These guys used to be great, but I'm not sure what happened. I was told I had only 5% left on my rear brakes and had well over 50% left. I was told my tie rods were loose but I had no symptoms so I took it somewhere else for a second opinion and they are not loose at all, not even any slight play. I'm not sure if the owner is checking over his mechanics work. I'm sure he's not because I don't think he would let these things go. How can you tell me there's only 5% left on the pads and there's well over 50% left? Please go here with caution. If you have any doubts go get a second opinion.

Everyone at Discount Auto is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable! Prices are great! They do excellent work and I trust them! I would recommend is count Auto to anyone in need of services!

Place was great, although the hours are hard when you work a 9-5, the service was quick, thorough, and priced reasonably. Mavis Tire recommended them for a coolant leak, and i do not regret it one bit. Will be going here from now on!

I think I’ve found my garage for the foreseeable future

Great service. We unfortunately needed a jump start and had no one to call. We were just around the corner at Lourdes. Called to see if they could help. They stated they don't usually do it but would come to help. Jump started our car, no charge, with suggestion we needed a new battery. Many, many thanks. Will be using them again.

Trustworthy mechanics who don't cut corners or do unnecessary work. The staff is friendly and communicates very well with me when I bring Betsy (my car) in, and she's always very well taken care of. Betsy is running smoother than when I got her two years ago! Highly recommend this mechanic if you're looking for somewhere affordable and transparent!

I moved out here a couple years ago and I was told about this place from a good friend of mine that I met. I didn't want to get ripped off by one of those chain places where if your wheel bearing is going bad they will tell you to replace the whole axle and tires lol. Knowing enough to know what the problem was (I do know a little bit about cars, used to mess around with cars a lot with my friends back where I'm from but I am no mechanic) so I decided to see what they said and that is what they said. So, I have been bringing my cars there ever since. I am comfortable asking them to do a quick look and they do.The people there are awesome in my opinion and if I have the choice I will always stay away from chain places. Just because something sounds fancy doesn't mean that they are doing good work or that you aren't paying for it in some other manner.

Great people. They are honest about the issues and I haven't felt taken advantage of or that they have added on unnecessary services. I've had them call where we thought I needed breaks ($$), but they checked and it just needed an alignment. I appreciate their honesty, and I will continue to bring my vehicles there.

I had called Precision Automotive Service and was told that front brakes would cost $500. I called Discount Auto...for the same $500, I received front brakes, interior auto detailing, and a rear wiper mechanism. The owner, Scott, is very professional, the prices are very reasonable and I was well taken care of. This is my new go-to shop. They have a technician that is extremely knowledgeable with all major repairs and European vehicles. I can't say enough good things about this shop.

Front desk was great and that's the only reason for 2 stars, brought in 2 tires to mount and balance, simple enough. The old tires were original tires that came with the wheels so this was the first time they have been on a tire machine. By the looks of these wheels I'm pretty sure they used the jaws of life and some vise grips to get tires mounted. Absolutely unbelievable

These guys are the best! Scott and his team rock! They are very professional and took the time to show me what the problem on my car was and go through all of my options before i agreed to fix it. I wish there were more mechanics out there like these guys.

I have been going to Discount Auto for several years for all the maintenance on my vehicles. The owner Scott and his son Sean as well as all of the other workers go above and beyond to make the customer happy! Better yet they all go above and beyond to make the customer and their families safe in their cars! It is really great that he has a front counter person now and hats off to Danni for putting up with all these men! If you're looking for an auto repair shop that won't take you over the coals and is completely honest with you this is the one, you will not be disheartened!
