I come to this Staples regularly for printed paper orders, and I always choose pickup. Every single time, Mike D. helped me out and made sure my prints come out exactly how I wanted. He’s incredibly nice, professional, and really takes the time to get the details right. Highly recommend!

Stood in the amazon return line for 25+ minutes, they had one older lady doing the returns and I felt terrible because legit right next to her the assistant manager was just causally inflating balloons. To my understanding everyone at staples is able to do amazon, so why when it wasn't that busy anywhere else (balloons, register, etc) wouldn't they help this woman? Unprofessional and everyone in the line felt the same.

The worst customer service. Been here several times, go to another location if you can. The cashier let me stand in line for twenty minutes holding a large amazon box, only to tell me when I get to the register that returns are in a different area. No signs for Amazon, nothing.

I came to this Staples around 7:00 PM to print 120 photos, and the experience was excellent. Even though it was already evening, the manager and the team in charge of the printing area were extremely helpful, patient, and efficient. They assisted me throughout the entire process, answered all my questions, and made sure everything turned out perfectly. It’s great to find a team with such a positive attitude and professionalism. I was very satisfied with the results and would definitely come back to this Staples for future printing projects. If you need photo printing or any printing services, I highly recommend this Staples.

12/16/25 2:30pm Long line at the production/print center, long line at customer service, long line at the "party center" long line at the registers. And I cannot even help myself, because there's no working printer connected. (This is a business that sells and stocks printers) And only 1 out of 3 self service computers are functional. The associates are doing their best it seems but there's a management & maintenance issue at hand. Do better, Staples of Clifton commons.

Went to Staples for a new printer. The manager of the store assisted us in our purchase and was very knowledgeable when we had questions.

Great store very clean, knowledgeable staff and easy check out. The store has excellent associates that can help you find out what you need and where it is!

I bought some business cards through the online portal which was easy to use but when i got my cards they weren’t aligned correctly which was weird because i thought that was the point of using the online tool? Thank God for Ashyia she really went above & beyond even while there was a lot of traffic coming in and things got busy. I love this place now thank you Staples, give her a raise!

Black Friday 2026. Closed their doors and locked up well before 9 PM closing time. Staff still inside working but customers are cleared out. I have watched about six customers try to enter and the doors are locked. This is not right.

I run a home based land surveying and engineering business in NJ, my clients are always happy with my choice of printing services, it really saves time and money, better and cheaper than having a large scale plotter at home.

Shopped at Staples in Clifton NJ and they had everything I wanted. Easy courtesy checkout. Highly recommend.

Worse print service ever! Came in Thursday to get some prints done for a couple of art pieces. I was told they would be ready to be picked up Friday. When I went Friday my order was not ready so the manager Danny assured me it would be ready by Saturday morning. I stressed how important it was that they be ready by 11. When I went to pick up just now, the box is sitting in the same spot from Thursday. Worse customer service! The person on duty was not remorseful in the least.

Staff knowledgeable and quick to provide support. Transaction was easy and exactly what I needed.

I had such a wonderful experience at Staples today! Thomas helped me at checkout and he was incredibly kind, patient, and cheerful the whole time. His positive attitude made my visit so much better, he greeted me with a smile and made me feel really welcomed. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping customers, and that kind of energy is rare and refreshing. He needs a raise asap haha Thank you, Thomas, for making my day!

I needed a book binded because a few pages had detached and Reina at Staples, Clifton was very helpful and polite. She took her time with me, even though it was a difficult task to do.

Where to even begin? First things first I would like to thank Michael for his help today! A few friends and I were working on something for a mutual friend of ours as a birthday gift. I went to get said birthday gift printed out today and when I got to the “Printing and Marketing” desk, I was met by Michael. As soon as I explained to him what exactly I wanted the entire thing to come out as, he got to work no hesitation and he delivered exactly how I wanted everything to come out. He delivered a great attitude and great customer service throughout the entire time he was assisting me. He has no idea how much this all meant to me and what it’s going to mean to my friend that receives this gift! Please give Michael the credit and recognition he deserves and give him a raise for being absolutely fantastic! Thanks again for everything.

I came to this staples to print out some cards for a party. Had to come back foir times because they kept on messing up my order. The first printing ticket was done wrong and the cards were supposed to cut out. I paid an express fee for my order to be done the day after. When I came back my ticket said that I had left my order when in fact the cards were supposed to be cut out. I explained this to the lady working the counter and expressed I wanted to print out more documents. She said that was fine but that she would print out my invoice later due to the computer not working. I asked her if I can take the larger documents home which were suppose to be 8x10 and she said yes. I went home just to find out that the larger documents did not fit in a frame I had brought & then had to go back to stapes for it to be cut to size. She cut one image out sloppy and then finally printed out my invoice because I asked her to & charged me several fees for cutting which I was told that in the original invoice, I was already charged for them. I asked to speak to the store manager and an assistant Manager named nick said he was the store manager and lied to my face when their store manager goes by the name of Sahil. Then the day of the party, I came to find out I was missing half of my thank you cards which were supposed to be 60 cards in total. I came to this staples at least four times and if I didn’t ask her twice for an invoice she wouldn’t of have gave it to me and I would’ve came back to all of these surprise fees when I came to pick up my order. Horrible service would never come here again.

Staples un Clifton ~ Hands down the best employees ever! They are welcoming and accommodating and go out of their way to help with any questions on products . They jump in without being asked when there are two ppl waiting to checkout and do it with a smile and they work together as a team!!! They should be commended on their team work and customer appreciation!!!!

Went in to check out iPads, one was on clearance and I was met right away with an associate the second I picked my head up to look if one was around. Two gentlemen helped me went out of their way to check if the item I wanted was in stock or not. Not once, but twice without me asking. Above and beyond!

Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable about the products, services, and special offers Staples provides for small businesses. Tried to call on the phone to check if they have a specific laptop, however when I did all I could hear was an echo of my own voice. Please either fix your phones you use to take calls. I checked if it was me by calling a friend and the call was perfectly fine. Thank you. Nothing wrong with the store itself for me, but this was an inconvenience.

Staples in Clifton was a really good experience. Staff during my quick shopping experience (purchasing printer ink) were so friendly!!! I needed ink and without asking, a staff member materialized immediately and helped me get what I needed with a few seconds.As an afterthought, I decided to buy printer paper but the first guy had left. Same as before, and almost out of nowhere a new staff member materialized and pointed me in the direction of the paper. The store is very clean and tidy also. I wish they did TSA there (@Clifton) because my 1st experience to purchase and process my TSA PreCheck was at the Totowa Staples and there I had the WORST experience! I won't ever go back to that store, not even for a box of pencils. There was a daytime supervisor or manager at the Totowa location who seemed to be in a perpetual bad mood and took it out on the employees. They were without a TSA trained person temporarily but I wouldn't be surprised if that person quit because of the manager guy.

I visited today for photo. Asked the question reason in cashier for it. He spoke to someone on phone to assist me . I waited at the photo desk for 15 minutes may be and no one showed up there. I came out through the door . Surely people may have seen me leaving but no one bothered as they are poor in service I gather.

Johnny from the Clifton Staples print center is one of the most wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly, quick, yet patient and professional store reps I have ever worked with. He understands the business extremely well and goes above and beyond in customer service. Johnny is a paradigm role model of an employee who genuinely wants to help! I hope that this store continues to hire amazing employees just like him!

I appreciate that they were open until 10pm on tax day. I was having trouble with contact less payment machine aka Apple Pay. The printer doesn’t read Apple Pay but it’s not got a sign that says it. The staff member was really helpful with helping me last minute figure out the printer and my credit card issue. Thanks for a positive night

A relatively unassuming Staples in terms of the main store, but it has an *excellent* printing center - more printers and computers than I've seen in other Staples. They rush-printed and bound notes that I needed for a class (I sent and customized them online), and they called me to let me know it was done early. The product was beautiful. I will go here in the future for my printing needs.
