Very rude and unprofessional. Asked for IDs from people not apart of our check out order. Simply because they walked into the isle. I refunded my order and so did the person that walked into the isle because they refused to serve the next SEPARATE order. (without seeing everyone’s ID, including the people who already checked out and paid) Completely uncalled for. The Spanish manager seemed high when we spoke to him, he couldn’t stop giggling. When I worked at Stew Leonard’s Liquor Store in Clifton (where the Sephora is now), the policy was “the customer is always right”. Seems like the service and management has gone down in quality since their move to the new location. Everyone was on their phones and seemed absolutely miserable hiding behind registers. I won’t be back.

Stew Leonard's cannot be beat! It's like a supermarket amusement park! Like Shop Rite meets Six Flags. This place is crazy! It's almost overwhelming, in a good way. They've got everything and they make a good chunk of it in-house. They've got a loaf of homemade garlic bread that could choke a horse! And it's only $5 bucks! Their liquor section is off the charts, too!

Great experience from efficient service when picking up a Too Good To Go order at Customer Service to receiving all hot meal items, such as Brussel sprouts with bacon, roast potatoes, Swedish meatballs, which are some staples we love and some things we are looking forward to trying. Pleasantly surprised because have seen some reviews about receiving cold items and the value is unbelievable. May consider the baked good option in the future as well. Huge location and will need to spend some time checking everything offered/available Too Goo To Go baked goods included delicious banana bread donut holes, apple cider donuts and sugar cookies. What a treat! Looking forward to trying more items. My first time here. I was shocked and amazed at the selection of everything! Premade meals. Or just preseasoned meats to cook a quick meal. You literally have to run to this place because you will wonder WHY you never did before!! I can't even explain it was soooo much!! Amazing quality times and the staff is also so friendly and helpful! I'm in love!

Another great Stew Leonard's with knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The wines and spirits are also at this location. Great prices, products and overall quality.

We bought fried chicken from the deli section today, but it had absolutely no seasoning and tasted terrible. We've bought it before and it was always delicious, but today it was completely awful. It was a total disappointment. I'd like a refund if possible. Alternatively, I hope the manager in charge will investigate the situation and make improvements.

Very nice store but kind of puzzling to find where many things are. Staff is very helpful and pleasant, and prices are reasonable, especially the items on sale. If you have the time, very pleasant walk through the whole route and see what is on offer. The liquor section is excellent, and while I have seen many of the labels in stock, the few new labels I’ve tried were very good

I feel like it's overrated. The place is definitely geared toward recently divorced dad vibes. Mostly prepacked ready made meals set up with an IKEA maze design. On the pricier side, probably to help pay for all the animatronics they use. Staff was friendly and helpful and the sushi was absolutely delicious. This place is good to go for novelty and once in a while stop but not for weekly shopping unless your interested in just having easy no prep meals. I feel like their booze selection is more diverse then their food selection.

The best supermarket experience we have ever had. The quality of products is incredible and the service is that plus we all look for. This year we decided not to stress out for the Thanksgiving dinner, and it was the best decision. Thanks to Luis from catering department, for his patience and suggestion on the sides. The juicy turkey and at its perfect point, the macaroni and spectacular cheese. This place is just amazing! Clean and beautifully planned out. I’m an older gentleman and it feels like a theme park while I shop. The STAFF ? Pat yourselves on the shoulder you knock it out of the park ever day. Thank you all. Mr. Leonard’s Your best store in my opinion.

We bought a xmas tree and its absolutely gorgeous! The staff was mostly helpful and were good at getting it on the roof of our car.

Best properly cut red meat"steaks" that I've found in Jersey yet. Best selection is fruit and vegetables, obviously they are meticulous about what they except from suppliers. Prices are slightly higher but well worth it for the selection. Always clean and biggest variety of additional food offerings!

I picked up a catering order for Thanksgiving at the Clifton, NJ store. When I went to pick up the order Thanksgiving morning, everything was well organized, and all of the associates were incredibly pleasant despite the long line of people. The food was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for your dedication and preparation, and helping your customers enjoy such delicious food! I will definitely be placing catering orders again for other holidays and family gatherings.

First time going here!!!! Highly recommend giving them a visit. They have a variety of foods to choose from. Their food bar area is amazing too!!! Loved all the animatronics.

My first time in Stew Leonard’s while visiting in NJ; suffice it to say that I wish we had this store in MA!! A bit overwhelming; please put a map of the general layout right at the entrance of the store! Other than that, kudos for all the people with whom I spoke and asked directions and questions, especially Julian! He squired me around to the general placement of all the items on my list; he was pleasant, helpful, and patient…all qualities I value! One of the managers told me to stay where I was and he went to get one of my items! Several others kept pointing me in the directions I needed to be, but I did get a chance to wander and $100. later, I ended up with far more than I had expected! Quality, presentation, a plethora of selections for each item; what more could a consumer ask for?! Even the pricing when compared to other stores I frequent was in line with Boston-area amounts… So, a last “Thank you” to Julian and all of you and I hope each of you has a wonderful and safe holiday season!!!

Very friendly people there. We got to meet Produce Pete, Betty, Susan and his daughter. Was a surprise for my wife Lisa. We are big fans who watch him every week on channel 4. The meat and produce we purchased from Stew Leonards was top quality. We even asked a manager if they were opening up a store in Staten Island. The ride there wasn’t bad form our home. A few minutes off the turnpike exit 16w. The characters in the store told nice stories and sang songs. It was our first time at Stews and won’t be our last.

What a great place Stew Leonard’s grocery store is and always has been. From the very first location in Norwalk, Connecticut to the Clifton, New Jersey location some of the best selections of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, bakery and you can imagine it Stew Leonard’s has it all. We travel twenty five minutes to get to the Clifton location but, without a doubt, it’s well worth it. And the in store fresh made ice cream is the best!!!

Great place to go for "any" kind of food, drink or alcohol. We didn't need anything, but left with a shopping cart full of stuff. Hot and ready to eat food too!

Stew Leonards food is so clean and fresh. Their store is bright and well kept with helpful staff. My only downside is prices are a bit high and current times make it difficult to truly enjoy all they have.

This place is amazing. Since it has been opened it has been our to go store. The quality of meats and seafood is top notch. The employees are so attentive, kind and helpful. They make fresh orange juice and the best guacamole ? in town. My toddler loves going here, he loves their home made ice cream… is delicious. Shout out to Louis the store manager and Rayan for helping us back in October with the fall decorations at the garden section and being so friendly and humble with my son picking all the pumpkins ? ?. Also the deli department Roland and the team. Ps the king salmon is the best and we purchase it weekly. Finally thank you for a great thanksgiving catering order. Everything was perfect! My experience at the new Stew Leonards was pretty good. The store has an excellent prepared/hot food section with pizza,bbq, Spanish food, Italian and fried chicken. There is even a ice cream store inside with really good ice cream. The store also has a wine/liquor section that’s bigger than the food part of the store. The produce section is decent. Also there are tons of animatronics which are cute but annoying. Stew Leonard’s has a farm vibe to it and I love the experience but there are some cons to this store. The layout is very weird and confusing for new shoppers. The fried chicken is disgusting. The meat expires really fast. The store is a little expensive but not as pricy as Kings.

Best supermarket in Clifton! Stew Leonard’s makes you actually forget the mundane task of food shopping and replaces it with a fun and happy experience. Hard not to leave that place with a smile. So many prepared food choices! Fresh seafood, meat, ice cream, bakery and so much more. This store may be an Instacart killer for me and actually get me to shop in person. My only recommendations are larger belts on the registers and a bigger space to pack up your groceries. I foresee the checkout lines being a nightmare unless they are all staffed with cashiers and baggers at all times. Other than that—can’t wait to go back.
