Amazing service. They took my car in the same night and had the battery replaced the next morning, on a Sunday no less!

First of all, I would like to thank the Tech Adrian for going way and beyond making sure my car was safe drivable and also walking through all the process mechanics like this don’t really come all the time he’s trustworthy. He’s honest and he loves what he does definitely definitely Pep Boys auto service and tires in Lodi is the best one I’ve been going there for two years now.

Adrian and co were super helpful in identifying issues I was having with my vehicle and getting me back on the road safely. Awesome staff, freshly renovated location, highly recommended. A+++

Went here to have tires put on and a wheel alignment. My steering wheel was offset slightly prior to service. After my car was done my steering wheel remained the same. Took it to a buddy's wheel alignment shop and I physically went under my car and there was no new marks on the tie rods meaning they didn't adjust it at all. Buddy did 5 min of work and wheel was straight. Do with that information what you will!

Went in for a routine oil change. They claimed the screws were too rusted so had to go cut a hole to get to the oil to change it. Afterwards car started to leak oil. Three weeks later car oil levels were low. Went back in and they said they fixed it by replacing the oil plug. Car is still leaking oil. Please avoid this place as they cause problems rather than fixing them.

Went to drop off used oil. Last time they took it no problems, today they refused to take it. Very easy and simple thing to do but they wouldn't. Even look up pep boys and recycling oil! These businesses are crap that do this and I believe n.j. has a law about it.

I asked for a wheel alignment while my tires were changed. When I asked for a print of the results, they told me the printer was down. My steering wheel is still off centered the exact way than before. I got stolen. They tried to sell me new brakes but I doubt they have mopar parts for SRT Dodge. I declined.

My first time for an Oil change and I was in and out in less than 40 minutes! It took me longer to get the charges approved by my credit card. Justin worked fast, gave me solid recommendations and my Tucson sounds like new....Thank you Pep Boys! ???

I’ve had a lot of work done at this shop, and they always do it right the first time! Cesar is really on the ball when it comes to the service. Smart patient and a nice guy.

They were very prompt in patching my passenger rear tire. But upon the free inspection, they missed that the two front tires were low. You may have to ask them to check all air pressures, but I don’t know.

Excellent service, dropped off flat tire and in few hours was done, Victor called me right away. Swapped spare, no questions ask. Very satisfied with service

They wouldn't let me drive my car home and said it has to be towed due their safety policies after giving me a ridiculous price. Basically holding my car hostage. I called the tow truck driver said he was there once a month for this. Tow truck shows up and leaves because the shop wouldn't take my car out in time. Then all of a sudden I'm allow to drive home after they wasted hours of my time and did no work. When I brought to a local mechanic it cost way less than their price. They are scamers.

The staff at the Lodi PepBoys were great to work with. Norberto the mechanic went out of his way to make sure the job quality was 100%. I would highly recommend them.

Alejandro and Cesar were both great searching for tires for my car. They were very professional. I would recommend this Pep boys location for anyone in the area. The prices here are great.

The customer service was minimal. The bumper and side fender were left with stains from the coolant. Also, my horn does not work. I'd call and asked them about it, they said that they didn't work in that area of the vehicle. The horn is right next to the radiator. They told me to bring the car back, I will not be bringing my car to them. I don't trust them.

I go here for most of my car needs. From the front with Alejandro to the labor with Adrian, you will not be disappointed, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. They went above and beyond, highly recommend!

just want to take a moment to personally thank Adrian at Pep Boys in Lodi. He’s an incredibly professional and knowledgeable mechanic who truly knows his craft. When other mechanics told me everything was fine, Adrian took one quick look and was able to tell me exactly what the issue was in just two seconds. That kind of honesty, experience, and attention to detail is rare to find these days. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about helping people. Called and asked about having a battery installed. I told the person I was kind of in a jam and needed car done as soon as possible. He told me come in and would take it in immediately. When I arrived within 5 minutes had my car in and finished within 30 minutes. Very nice people to deal with

The guys there were super friendly and great!! When a price came up to be to high, they work with you to the point you WON’T leave disappointed!! Got the brake job done really fast! Already planned to bring my other cars there to get work done! 5 stars all the way around!!! Definitely left as a happy customer!

Efficient, fast, so helpful and nice! Norberto worked on my car and walked me through everything that needed attention, he showed me everything on my car I needed to prioritize. Cesar was so great in getting me the best price and I was able to pick my car up in less than 24 hours. Much better and more customer forward than my local dealership, thanks Lodi team!

Excellent experience!!! All the guys were very professional, especially Victor (manager) and Juan (the mechanic). Got good price for the jobs, new tires, control arms and a bunch of other parts. Definitely recommend the place. Keep the good work guys.

SCAM ARTISTS!! Brought my car in for brake pads they weren’t able to look at it at the time of the previously schedule date. No big deal but you could have called me and said bring in tomorrow. When they did finally check it they gave me an estimate that was extremely high. I said I would pick up the car because that is ridiculously high they wouldn’t let me drive it home it has to be towed. Basically holding my car hostage. The tow truck driver said he was there once a month for this. When I brought to a local mechanic it was $900 less than their price. They are scam artists almost forcing you to use them. Probably because I am a woman. Never again!

This store saved me!!! I was travelling and had car issues. After being towed there on a Sunday, when all other stores were closed, they completely went out of their way all afternoon for me to make sure I was back on the road the same day. They went above and beyond finding the issue and then tracking down the parts for me and stayed late to make sure it was done the same day. I thought I was going to be stuck there for days and they had me fixed up and done within a few hours. The staff was absolutely amazing to me the entire time keeping me informed and updated. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I cannot say enough good things about them. Especially Bianka and the mechanic who worked on my car. Absolutely the best service I have ever had ever in my life. Do not hesitate to take your car there. I cannot thank them enough.

UPDATE: They did take my car back and kept it overnight and drained the oil and refilled it. I drove 4 hours over the weekend and everything worked fine. Wesley, I guess he is the manager up front, was very nice, understanding and professional! He refunded my original payment, and covered my Lyft to and from home and the shop. He explained it was a mistake by someone new. SO, even though initially it was a one star experience, in the end they made things right. Thank you! INITIAL REVIEW: even if I could give negative reviews I would!!!! All I wanted was an oil change!!!! Reception guy was fine, but some moron overfilled my oil, almost double past the full line. So I write this as I sit waiting for AAA to come tow me back. I literally just had this done and only made it maybe 3 miles and smoke and backfiring - the telltale symptom of overfill and sure enough….I’ll add a pic. Btw first time to a Pep Boys ever.

I came last minute this past Friday because I got a flat tire on my way home from work (got punctured really badly; definitely couldn't be plugged). I called and Jhad was quite hospitable on the phone. He assured me that they had a tire available in the size I needed. After getting my spare put on, I drove to their location and they helped me out right away. Jhad was very friendly and provided me with great customer service from start to finish. Gian was the mechanic who worked on my car. Despite it being almost time for him to go home, he still made time to answer my questions and give me advice on the rest of my tires. I loved their service so much that I scheduled to have my other three tires there replaced this week.

George and Armen at this PepBoys location have been absolutely amazing to approach my car issues with. Had two tires and alignment done. They were more than accommodating and went out of their way to help and make sure I got to my rental car when I left my car there. They were forthcoming with discounts that were available, were swift and helpful with rescheduling my appointment when I had to change the date. Brilliant guys.
