Went to trade in my car for a car that had caught my eye on their lot. Let me just say off the bat it was the best dealership experience iv ever had! These ppl will work with u and explain everything, nothing to hide like other dealers. My car that i wanted to trade in was a bit difficult because it had negative equity BUT they made it work for me to end up driving off the lot in the car i wanted with a very small downpayment. The car i ended up getting was a ford explorer and its now a little over a month since i got the vehicle and its flawless. Runs great, no lights popping up on the dash, no issues at all and iv driven this car alot so far and its a beast. Extremely nice ppl, great car at great prices. If ur looking for an affordable vehicle that wont break down a week after buying it, this is the place to go and they have many options and lenders for financing and most likely will get u out on the road with the car you want. "My sister told me I was crazy for tracking dealership data like a car nerd, but here we are. After visiting Bergen Car Dealership three times over two months (don't ask), I kept notes because I wanted to make sure that I am choosing the right one, and  I was genuinely curious about how they operate compared to other lots in New Jersey. I started tracking their website in March. The certified Ford F-150 that caught my eye initially was gone in eight days. They have this luxury used BMW 3 Series I bookmarked which lasted exactly 12 days before disappearing from their site. Their certified pre-owned vehicles move fastest - average time on lot seems to be under two weeks based on my very unscientific observation. This isn't necessarily good or bad, just interesting. It suggests either their pricing is competitive or their marketing actually works. Probably both. I brought my 2019 Altima for their instant car appraisal just to see what would happen. Their system spat out $16,200, which was honestly $800 more than I expected. KBB had it around $15,500 trade-in value, so they weren't lowballing. The ""trade in my car for cash"" process took 15 minutes and felt legitimate. Compared that to three other dealers - one offered $14,900, another $15,800, and the third wouldn't even look at it because they said they had ""too many Altimas already."" Bergen Car Dealership's number was competitive enough that I didn't bother shopping it around further. They work with different lenders, which gives them flexibility but also creates some interesting dynamics. Your approval odds depend heavily on which lender likes your profile. Navy Federal came back with their best rate for me, but someone else might get a better deal through their credit union partner. The key thing: they don't mark up rates like some dealers do. If the lender approves you at 6.2%, that's what you pay. This seems to be company policy rather than them being nice. Their lot gets busy Tuesday through Thursday, dead on Mondays. If you want attention and time to really look at cars, Monday afternoons are perfect. They stock more certified pre-owned cars in spring and summer, more basic affordable used cars in fall and winter. Seasonal buying patterns, probably. The sales staff rotates between their people, but Fares seems to handle most of the serious buyers. If you're the type of person who likes knowing how things actually work instead of just trusting the process, Bergen Car Dealership operates pretty transparently. They're not trying to revolutionize car buying - they're just doing the basics competently, which is rarer than it should be. The car I ended up buying (that Honda Civic) runs fine, the financing worked exactly as promised, and nobody called me trying to sell extended warranties. "

I just called a few minutes ago, my name is Glenn. Ideally I would like an all-wheel drive Dodge charger V8 I'm not ready to buy but they seem nice enough on the phone. I think negative reviews should show more documentation. And I honestly don't know what to think about positive ones. I guess inspire beware you got to know what you're buying. I guess cash and good credit counts for a lot. The less you have the more you have the lose so get your finances together and do your due diligence and researching. I bought a Volvo xc60 from them. They did everything possible to provide the best financing conditions. They worked until late in the evening for me, everything was completed. They gave a warranty for the car. During the first week of operation, the starter broke down, the guys replaced it with a new one without any problems. It's the second month, so far everything is fine, the car is in good condition.

Highly recommend this Great place, offering 30days / 1000miles warranty to all the cars, friendly staff, very organized, disclose everything (Provide printed Carfax report to make sure buyer is aware of car history) and quick paper work (took less than 30 minutes to sign and take my car home). Doc fee $890 + registration fee is bit high vs other place, but does include 30 days warranty and permanent plate. Also flexible on pricing and I got a great deal on nice Blue 2016 Civic LX. Car is in great conditions inside out and Bergen Car Company put extra effort to keep cars in great conditions.

Hello , After an accident I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get another car but once I saw the Honda civic and the great condition it was in I wanted the car immediately.
