When life gives you lemons, you probably went to S&J Motor Company My mother was swindled by these people into pouring money into a 2017 Chevy Trax, which is already a hunk of junk even by modern forced obsolescence standards, but this one had obviously been through the wringer and these sleaze-meisters did everything they could do to conceal this fact. However, interestingly it became quite noticeable that the overcharged 'warranty' they also swindled her into purchasing covered next-to-nothing. Myriads of pitiful excuses were given as to why this is. But I don't really expect much from a company that also charged 2 hours worth of work for a 40 minute job, because "the book says so". Right. 'The Book'. How could I possibly forget such golden rules to never transgress upon? They also tricked her into paying whole hog for what were clearly old and defective parts by creating their own unique definition of what the "Rust Belt" means. If you really have that much deranged creativity, why not write a novel instead of cosplaying as Danny DeVito's character from Matilda in real time? I'm not sure how these people have 5 stars. They will lie to your face to an absurdly comical degree. I hope that $100 bribe they offer is worth it. Obviously she could not afford this ailing vehicle, so she had it voluntarily repossessed. So all of that warranty money she paid into it? They took it for themselves. That may be illegal and I'm actively looking into that. Awful experience. If you like trash vehicles that will put your family at risk and getting ripped off, you'll love it. If you don't, avoid this place like the plague.

Recently bought a work truck from Diane at SJ motors. She was very helpful. The process was smooth. I feel like the quality of the vehicle warranted the price. They have a great selection, for any budget!

Our family has purchased 6 vehicles through S & J Motors over the last 16 years. We keep going back and referring others because they are honest, helpful and extremely reasonable in their prices. We worked with Diane as our sales agent, she was super friendly and helpful . We purchased a hyper blue 2016 Subaru Crosstrek December 13th. Now that our youngest is car shopping, we will of course start, and hopefully finish with S & J Motors

I purchased my car from s&j about 2.5 years ago. I put 50% down and paid it off in about 6 payments including the extra warranty. I had a good experience and recommended them. Recently I brought the car back to have it appraised and signed their liability waiver. The mechanic and owner returned with my car in about an hour and told me that 1. The car is worthless and, 2. The car is unsafe to drive even off the lot. The ownership accepted liability for this incident, put it on their lift (while their mechanics laughed in my face), and fixed the car after a few days, refusing to make any documentation or agreement whatsoever. When I returned to get the car I was given an ambiguous receipt and charged $200. When I left my car, the owner or his son told me that some rubber hose had broken and that's what they would be fixing. When I received the car, the owner asserted I agreed to have the repair done and had his own story about a rusted brake line. So, I have no idea what happened to my car and it requires even further inspection. The characteristics and ability of my vehicle to brake are extremely different and worse than before it was in their possession. I assume the unscrupulous mechanics replaced something on the brakes, and slapped it together without properly finishing the job. While in their possession, S and J mechanics blew out my brakes, accepted liability for it, and performed an unclear, protested, emergency patch job on my car, and threatened to keep it even longer if I didn't pay. S+J is not the family friendly dealer I thought they were; they're another selfish private organization looking out for themselves alone. Reply to Owner: I did not deny payment; I asked for a good will gesture based on our business relationship and to save your business from this negative but genuine feedback. I also requested no guarantee. Notwithstanding the fact that you didn't forgive the payment, I would have happily stepped away from my argument. You had every opportunity to hook my family up and put us in a safer vehicle, I was ready to buy a car from you with cash the day I walked in. Instead, you were brutal, selfish, dishonest, and your mechanics finished my car an incomplete job and left me to drive off unsafely - either by your instruction to NOT bleed my brakes or by their own nefarious moral action. Whatever happened to me at your organization that day is wrong and your explanation is plain and predictable. If I had more time and resources I would investigate, file formal reports against your mechanics, and file a small claim for my repair payment. Wish you well.

My boyfriend and I worked with Stan, such a great experience! Came for delivery, got all the paperwork and everything done quickly and smoothly,. Very friendly staff!

Recently purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from S&J Motors. Diane was extremely helpful and the purchasing process was professional and quick. I would buy another car again here.

Every time i have needed to buy a used car i have come here. Every time i have bought from somewhere else due to either poor available auto choices, smelly autos, autos that wouldn't start or sold cars not listed as sold. I have tried but have only bought 1 in many years.

I had a great experience with them! Diane went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She even made sure I got a new windshield. Overall, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s definitely worth it. The cars are in pristine condition and will not disappoint.

Got a great used car here, great miles and condition. I can't speak highly enough about S & J motors. Nick came out and introduced himself then went back inside, which I appreciated not feeling hovered or pressure. I came in hand with a list of needs, wants and must have for a car. After walking around the lot, I found a car that had everything I wanted and more. Nick made the processes easy for the loan application process. When it came to signing paper, Stan handled that. I was impressed and thankful for his organization skills. I recently purchased a 2015 gmc sierra 1500 SLT and I have loved it since I bought it. I will definitely keep this truck forever I am so happy with my purchase. The only thing I had wrong with it was my left turn signal tail light was out and they fixed it beautifully they were kind, respectful, polite, and caring, definitely good people to work with. S & J Motor Company is by far the best car dealership I have ever been to! From start to end, the staff was exceptional! I was looking for an honest and reputable dealership, and after reading many reviews decided to visit - I'm so glad I did! The sales and office staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and there is no pressure, they just truly want you to be happy no matter what you choose. When I asked to look at a vehicle, they asked if I had any questions and really listened and gave feedback, then gave me the keys and a dealer plate to take a test drive and evaluate it without them hovering so I could make an informed decision on my own. Being a woman I'm always wary of going to car dealers as I'm used to being treated badly, but not here - everyone treated me well, no mansplaining or rudeness, it was really wonderful! My husband who is a mechanic took a test drive with me and he was extremely impressed with the condition and quality of the repairs done on the vehicle (and he is very difficult to impress!). Nick was particularly awesome and assisted me the entire step of the way when I chose a vehicle to purchase, even answering texts outside of business hours, and ensured that everything went well and smoothly. 11/7/2023 we were looking to add a third car because of my daughter getting her license. Found this beautiful 2013 Subaru Impreza with low miles on the web, which was at S&J. We drove an hour 1/2 from Keene to see the car, to find it sitting out front with a plate on it, ready for us to drive! From the moment I called on the car, to the moment we drove it home, I was extremely impressed with the staff and service at S&J Motor Company. Nick, who I spoke with on the phone several times, was able to answer all of my questions. And Stan, who we dealt with in person, was very friendly, up front, prepared, and professional. I brought my daughter along to give her a taste of the car buying experience, and I’m happy to say that S&J was top notch in every aspect. Thank you all so much, and when my other daughter starts driving, I know exactly where to go!

I purchased a car from Nick a few months ago. He was very professional and extremely in tune to what I was looking for, at a certain price. He actually picked up something for me, and I was under no obligation to purchase it. I did buy this car and absolutely love it. Runs excellent. Great gas mileage. A price I could afford. S&J has always had an outstanding reputation for standing behind their vehicle and has never disappointed. I will continue to do business there along with my family as we have done for the last 20 years.

I recently bought a Ford Escape from them. I had a Great experience! Stan was very personable, and quick to respond to messages. I saw my car on a Thursday and drove it home Friday. The buying process was quick, and I felt no pressure to buy the car. They have a 30 day warranty, and you can buy a extended 5 year warranty. After 2 days there was a leak in one of my valves and they fixed it quickly. No problems since.
