This place is the best had a fuel pump replaced and some electrical issues fixed on my Jeep and my fiance's Honda's been worked on down there a couple times. Always fixed quick and the never overcharged.
Needed a local (Merrimack area) mechanic in 2021 after returning from a 17-year assignment elsewhere. Looked at online reviews/comments at the time, and Silva's seemed to top the list. After 4+ years I can see why. I drive a '99 Saturn and the few times I've needed to take it in (annual inspections, new muffler, oil changes, starting problems) they've been superb. Have never tried to sell me a service I didn't need, communications have always been friendly and informative; work has been done professionally and effectively, reasonable prices. While they seem up-to-date in terms of knowledge and facilities, going there feels like a throwback to mid-20th century in terms of a local family vibe - i.e., they're more interested in keeping you as a life-long, satisfied customer than making a quick buck or reporting quarterly profits to some higher up. I rarely feel inspired to give unsolicited recommendations, but after my several positive experiences with Silva's Auto they deserve it. Thank you Dave, Jessica, and the entire crew at Silva's.

Look no further for glass replacement. These guys are top notch from the original phone call to the completion of the job. Also more than reasonably priced!
This is the only auto repair place that hasn't over charged or been shady in some way. They have a great online system that sends you a report of what they saw when they looked over your car and a breakdown of the cost and once you have electronically sign it they get started on the work. My husband had a couple questions about things and his questions were answered within a minute of his phone call starting and he wasn't put on hold or ignored for 20 minutes which happens with a lot of these places. They were up front and had the exact same suggestions and diagnosis as my husband who knows a lot about mechanics but doesn't have the garage or time to do it himself. This is one of the very few places that I would feel 100% confident and comfortable with just believing what they say. I had my car towed there and work was done in less than two working days. 10/10

been coming here for years (even before it became silvas auto) and I love the crew especially David and Kevin. everyone does a fantastic job and I've have a multitude of car issues for different brands/makes and they've been fair pricing wise and repair wise. would recommend this shop if you're having problems. very quick with deducing problems and repairs. staff is very understanding and polite and shop is very organized and clean

I have dealt with Sue, Jessica, and Craig, they all treated me in manner of how they would want to be treated. Fantastic service! Had to have two tires replaced today due to a nail penetrating in the area where the tread wall and side wall meet. They didn’t have the tires I needed in stock but ordered them and had them in this afternoon and got me on my way. Thank you for going the extra mile today!

Great service and communication. One of the few honest places I've seen around. Others told me I needed my brake lines flushed and new tires. They inspected both and neither needed to be done. Their oil change was also less than the competition. Been going for years with different cars and will continue to use their services. Thanks for being honest and reliable.

Asked to have all leaks fixed made it 2 miles.car in driveway leaking everywhere will have towed somewhere else 400 $ without a mask on a hard lesson.think twice be surprised if this gets posted CENSORSHIP no bad reviews??????? Wrong response.your work is leaking! I walked almost 2 miles because of a problem I listed .you are welcome and to say anything for your inept work.the bbb will be contacted .you are great tire changers.oil.etc. and being untruthful.you never spoke of other problems. You are not being truthful in your response.sad but true.live like that.did you keep my note ? Show it if you do.i have carbon copy. But that's going elsewhere . KARMA
I called in Monday and was told by Jessica I could bring it in right away or wait until Tuesday am. Brought my call in Tuesday and got a call 2 hours later with a diagnosis. Had it fixed and received a call Tuesday afternoon all fixed. Our choice to pick it up Wednesday am. I have a 99 saab and it runs brand new. I love these guys. They all are on the ball and ready to serve. I would highly recommend them to anyone
I guess every auto repair shop has limits. I took the Nissan pathfinder here for an issue that resulted in a couple service lights coming on. Shop referred me to Nissan for service due to a service bulletin from the manufacturer. Turns out after an inspection at Nissan that it was all just a sensor on the tire. The sensor has some crud from corrosion which was creating some interference. It was less than a 200 dollar repair. This place was polite and professional and did repair a different vehicle with less bells and whistles.
Silvas Auto Shop does a fantastic job. The pricing is very fair and the appointment process is efficient.

I have been using Silva’s Auto even before they were at their current location when he was basically a 2 lift operation. Bill and his staff always treated my family and I with honesty, friendliness and professionalism. I take my vehicle diagnoses and explain what’s wrong what it will cost to fix the problem. They would take me out to see the issues for myself. They use good quality parts and find the best price. This family-owned business comprises of HONEST, RESPECTFUL, SKILLED DIAGNOSTICIANS!!! Dave listened to my concerns about the problem related to my clutch. He also agreed to assess several high-cost services previously proclaimed by another local chain store.
They went the extra mile to look at my car within 2 days, and confirmed the clutch failure. After a thorough assessment, Dave refuted the necessity of any extra services and took the time to explain his findings. I saved almost $2,500 in unnecessary car repairs!
My car was fixed expertly. It PURRED the whole 800 miles of interstate travel 2 days later!
Silva’s Auto even runs a MOBILE windshield replacement service. Eric was very flexible and worked with my schedule. My car now sports a spiffy new windshield as well!!

Good place. They mounted some tough to mount tires that others couldn't do for me quickly and fairly priced.i talked with some of the Tech's they were knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions. I would go back for other repairs.

IE: One time I got a timing belt kit off eBay, thinking I could save a lot of money. At the time of installation the owner reviewed the parts I purchased, and showed me all the imperfections in manufacturing, which really made me value that they wouldn’t warranty the job, unless good quality parts were supplied. I mean, who wants to pay for the same job twice, due to non refundable part defects!?! AMIRITE???
