Facility is fine but the hours are ridiculous. Closed for half of the weekend makes it really inconvenient, especially when they have unannounced “training days” where the facility is closed. They won’t tell you though so make sure you call before you drive all the way there
This place is organized. The employees are friendly and helpful. The swap shop volunteers are amazing. If you need to go to the dump then this is a pleasant place to go.
It's a good facility, employees do a good job. My only wish is that there would be two clearly marked lanes all the way around the outside, after you exit the main recycling dropoff building. One on the left for heading toward the swap shop and main dump building, and the one on the right for "Exit Only." Some people like myself only bring recycling here, and sitting in the line of traffic heading to the regular dump area is a real drag when I just want to leave. Saturdays mean a terribly long line to wait on, with nobody moving to the left to let you leave because they think you're just trying to cut them in line... I know there IS a marked lane just before the main dump area, just make it 10x longer 🙂
What a great place the guys over there are the best. Very helpful, nice, funny, polite never a dull moment. Thanks to Chris, pat, ron and all the other guys for being the greatest people.
Do you have trash or recycling? Bring it here! There is information on their website about what they will/won't accept or you can stop by the office on your way in to learn more. Make sure you have a town sticker.

For a waste disposal facility that takes in all types of refuge, the staff work hard to maintain a clean environment. All staff are helpful and can answer your recycling questions or questions about other bigger items. Prices are fair to throw away costly items.
It's well organized and easy to maneuver through. There is signage that is clear and easy to follow for most parts so you can put things where they belong. The stops are generally lined up to make unloading easy. No hassle, no fuss.
When it comes to transfer stations, the gentlemen that work and care for his facility are very good at keeping the system orderly and working correctly... Best place to dispose your garbage.... Thank you for all the help over the many years.
Arrived at 633 today and it was closed. It claims to still be open according to online. Extremely disappointed in the town of Merrimack’s lack of communication as I saw a sign posted in the dump during my last visit saying that they had extended hours till 7 on Thursdays. I work Tuesday through Saturday and don’t get home early enough to go to their ridiculously early closings of 4 o’clock. So much for serving the community.
The place is great and so are all the people who work there except one his name is Steve doumas and yes his last name does resemble his attitude if you look closely at it. He's on a major power trip he is rude to not only his employees but to the towns people as well he needs Jesus and he needs to stop taking his frustrations from home to work with him. If you happen to encounter him you'll know it's him so if some one comes up yelling and screaming at you like your his wife or child then just say oh you must be "Steve". Everyone else you may encounter there are extremely friendly.
