Don’t buy form here Thomas is operating this business even though it has been dissolved . See attached image directly take of the company It’s inactive I purchased a hybrid vehicle from this dealership and shortly after the sale check engine light came on with code. It required immediate hybrid battery replacement, which was not disclosed at the time of sale. When I contacted Tom about the issue, I was told to buy individual battery cells and replace them myself and to “go online and learn about cars.” This was inappropriate advice, as hybrid batteries operate at very high voltage and can cause serious injury or death if improperly serviced. In addition, the vehicle was promised with two keys, but only one was provided. I was later told to program the second key myself, which costs hundreds of dollars. The vehicle also had a defective in-dash touch display, non-functioning Bluetooth/AUX connectivity, and a windshield washer sprayer that did not work. These issues were not disclosed at the time of sale and directly contradict the dealership’s representations about vehicle condition and inspection.

Made a confirmed reservation for a small motorcycle trailer only to have him rent it out to the guy in line right before us and not have another one for us. Guy seems shady as all hell too! Go somewhere else! Response: I arrived early to rental appointment! Owner stated "They missed our reservation" tried to force us off another trailer that was too heavy for our car. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS CREEP

STAY AWAY!! I would not do any U-Haul business with this establishment. The person running it is rude and completely unhelpful. He also added extra insurance to my trip which was not requested on the original order, but gives you the typical used car salesman sign here and leave approach to make you miss things he has added.

Don’t trust him. Set up an appointment to view a car, did not let me know it had been sold and didn’t even remember there was an appointment. He said he custom order vehicles. I gave him a list and he said he would get back to me in a 2-3 weeks tops. Never called me back and avoided my calls. Cars are overpriced beyond belief. Don’t believe his copy paste mumbo jumbo about “we don’t sell junk”

Think twice before conducting business with the typical used car salesman. Rented a small utility trailer for a one way haul and had a designated pick up time due to time restraint. Did all paperwork online in advance only to be told nope has to be done here at the dealership. After the half hour “system freeze” a new contract was issued. Was told they inspected the trailer very thoroughly when it was dropped off but when I inspected the trailer myself i discovered a tire that wouldn’t have made it 50 miles. Asked for a spare tire and was told they do not offer them. Never hooked it up and waited 2 hours for the repair shop to show up from a mile away. Now my pick up was completely messed up and then saw they charged me $70 for insurance against breakdowns while on the road. When I complained I was told to call a call center who agreed to remove the charge only to then replace it with a $94 charge for “roadside assistance “ even though the trailer was not hooked up when the bad tire was discovered. Was told a manager would call to straighten it out and 5 days later the call has yet to be received. When I call Tom Wernet all he says is nothing he can do. Not about the money it’s about the shady used car tactics. Beware of this place!

Owner was less than friendly upon pickup for a U-Haul trailer I had reserved, interrupting me when asking a question to confirm drop off. He felt the need to rudely micromanage my very capable backing skills until I finally told him I’m more than capable. A younger gentleman finished the hookup and was super friendly and politely answered the two questions I had about the trailer. Thanks. Mr Werner: Women are incredibly capable of some mad trailer skills. Consider your attitude before the next time you have a woman renter. This one will choose to bring her business elsewhere next time.

My girlfriend bought from Wernet , not happy at all . Damage that I didn't detect right away. He was in a hurry for his money no dealing at all. Shoved us out the door knowing that was hidden damage on front end. Way over market value especially if u include the front end damage. BAD ATTITUDE!

Bought a 2010 Lexus GX460. The owner Tom Wernet is a solid guy. He sells vehicles that he'd drive himself. A bit pricey but you get peace of mind with Tom. Hard to put a price tag on that. I'll definitely buy another vehicle from Wernet.

Get an independent inspection before you buy. “All my vehicles are solid or I don’t sell them” - “timing belt and everything else has been done” Within 200 miles: Timing belt cracked and urgently needed. $900 Brake lock up $600 Within 500 Random check engine and misfire. Within 3000 Alternator Failure and control arms $900. Door lock actuator issue Paid above market taking Toms word. Over confidence will take you far in life. On me for skipping inspection but Toms word is two stars.

They were excellent to work with. Purchased our vehicle and very happy with their sales. Will definitely be recommending them to friends and family looking for a different vehicle.

This is a great place to buy a car. The owners; Tom and Nick Wernet are honest and knowledgeable. They find high quality used cars and will not sell anything they wouldn’t drive themselves. I have been very satisfied with my purchase and have recommended them to friends and family.

Bought a car from here about 2 months ago now. Tom would not give me the carfax for the car until I bought it. After buying the car I was burning about a quart of oil every 200 miles right from the beginning. I called about it (2 days after I bought it) and he told me that I would have to contact audi about it. My car has to have the engine pulled with piston rings replaced. Now about 2 months after I bought the audi, it died in the middle of the street and would not start back up. So I had to get it towed in to find out that my fuel pump, filter, relay, and control module are all bad. This car has cost me about as much in repairs as the car is worth. Do not buy a car from here. You'll just end up spending more money to go and get your car fixed.

I saw a 2007 Toyota on a website used by Wernet. I called them to get details. After a few minutes of conversation, I decided to give them a deposit to hold the vehicle until it was ready, approximately 2 weeks they said. Tom Wernet told me I could cancel the deal if I didn't want the vehicle. Well after doing more research, I found their price was way above anyone else's. I contacted Tom to cancel the deal, and he refused to refund my money until the vehicle was sold to someone else! WHAT?!!! After a few minutes of discussion as to how STUPID this sounded to me, he said he would give me my money back. What a joke. To be safe, I contacted my bank to dispute the charge to my CC. I really can't believe this is how he does business.

A year ago I needed to trade my 2013 Volvo S60 R-Design for a good clean used SUV. Trading down can be a great loss but Tom treated me very fairly. I thought the 2004 Toyota 4Runner at Wernet was the right one....but after signing a deal decided that a 2007 Honda Pilot he also had (but was at the pre-inspection shop) was a better deal for me. Tom did not hesitate to amend the deal. The Honda was immaculately detailed for me. When the Pilot suffered a seal failure within weeks of purchase Tom stepped right up and made things right for me. The only caveat is that things take time with a small one man show like Tom's. I had the patience and he had the right stuff. Oh...and his Better Business rating is A+.

DO NOT TRUST this dealership. Mr Wernet sued me without proper service for the amount of money he was contractually obligated to pay on the vehicle I traded into him. Within three days time he was somehow able to sell that vehicle to another party without a clean title (my name was still on the title since they never paid off the lien). After a lengthy court battle in Dakota County (should be public record, if you're considering buying a vehicle from him I highly suggest you look it up) I was able to get the default judgment against me dismissed with prejudice and he was then forced to finally pay off the lien after four years of ruining my credit. ...Not to mention costing me thousands in the housing market due to having to clear this issue up before I could close on a home. He never bothered to reply to the Attorney Generals office after three attempts to contact him prior to going to court. Buying a vehicle from him was a complete nightmare. Mr Wernet and his finance guy, Jack, are untrustworthy. No matter what the deal is, or how much money you could save, DO NOT BUY FROM WERNET ENTERPRISES.

I just recently purchased an 06 Honda Pilot from wernet and could not be more impressed with the level of service I received from a used car dealership. I had been looking at purchasing a pilot for months but every time I went to other dealerships they all were the classic in your face used car salesman and the cars were junk. When I went to wernet I was treated with respect and he knew everything about the car and all work that had been done to the vehicle Mr wernet knows his stuff and does not sell junk. When buying a used car you have to remember at the end of the day it is still a used car and you may have issues but again it's used you just never know that's why they don't cost $40,000. If you want a quality car from a quality dealership this is the place. I will definitely be buying from wernet again and will recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle. yes he does drive the car first but it really gives you a chance to listen to the car and hear any underlying issues without having to keep your eyes on the road.

Test drove a couple vans that werent quite what we were looking for. Over the next few weeks they kept in touch with us each time they got a new vehicle in that might interest us. Bought a very nice Toyota and could not be more satisfied! Momma is happy. And we all know "if Momma aint happy nobody is happy!"

I just bought my Audi from Wernet the spring of 2013. The reason why I wanted to review them was because I saw some negative reviews online and think they deserve a positive one. Basically, they had the best price, lowest mileage car, which they got from Florida (plus = No Rust). I actually had an issue with the AC that I noticed after I drove it off the lot when we had a warm day that weekend and I noticed it wasn't getting cold at all. I contacted them 3 days later, they told me to bring it in and they would "work" with me on getting it fixed. It took sometime for them to diagnosis the issue, but they got it fixed and they PAID the cost associated to fixing it. I felt that was very, but more importantly I felt they were absorbing that cost because they STAND BEHIND the product they are selling. Not only did they fix the car, but when I went back to pick it up Nick Wernet spent 45 minutes just educating me on how to best car for the car interior, exterior and maintenance wise. That goes above and beyond in my book. So in short I WOULD recommend working with these guys, because I don't feel the reviews they've gotten paint the whole picture.
