Very friendly and nice! Were patient and understanding. Got a 2017 hyundai elantra from them, bit of cosmetic damage. Runs very good. They let us test drive it by ourselves, check out the car. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to buy cheap used cars!

We did post a review back in April, but for some reason it it missing, so we will post again. On April 9th, after 29 days of our ownership, the truck we purchased from 1st Class Auto Sales stopped at a light and would not start. After getting it to a repair shop they reported to us that the truck's frame was so full of rust that it was split down both sides and behind the gas tank. They also informed us that the engine was not repairable and needed to be replaced. They told us that they would not be able to replace the engine without putting their service people at risk. The rust corrosion was so bad throughout the whole frame was full of holes, that they could not even safely put the truck on the lift to repair it, as it could break or fold while being worked on. From the new Carfax we purchased after the truck broke down (The Carfax given to us by Mr. Crumble was missing the last four posts and would have let us know it came from an auction, not a Toyota dealer and the last mechanic who worked on it. Since we never were given Mr. Crumble's Mechanic's report, initially, we did not know that the engine needed to be replaced which was noted when he inspected the truck. With all these issues, Mr. Crumble offered us no solution or help. Just said he can't be responsible or "married" to a truck he sold to us. After 2 conversations with him, he would not return or answer our calls. With all this prior knowledge about the major issues this truck had, Mr. Crumble still sold it to us, knowing our 21-year-old son was going to be driving it for work, (approx. 100 miles a day). We sent pictures and videos to three more mechanics and they all agreed that it would have been unsafe for someone to be in the cab of this truck and this truck on the road. If our son had been in an accident, the frame most likely would have broken and collapsed in on him or anyone in the truck. We now own a truck with a $13,500 loan which needs between $11,000 and $14,000 in repairs to be safely driven. This dealer needs to be held accountable for selling an unsafe vehicle. If you check 1st Class Auto Sales reviews (yelp, google, BBB, and Facebook)you will see how many people have been hurt by 1st Class Auto Sales with defective vehicles being sold to them. We should have checked the reviews. This fraud needs to stop.

James is an outstanding salesman! He was incredibly flexible with my schedule and went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and knowledge made me feel confident in my decision, and his customer service is truly top-notch. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and delivers, James is the guy to see!

Buyer Beware I purchased a car from here that is both burning and leaking oil. I called the owner, James Crumble, immediately after I found this out (about a week after buying it) to discuss the issue. After reaching out by both phone and email, I was finally able to get him on the phone at least 2 weeks later. I informed him of the issue and he wanted details, so I sent the diagnosis I received from my mechanic. This car is leaking 3 quarts of oil every 630 miles. He again, didn’t reach out until I got a hold of him another week or so later. Instead of him helping, I got a “what do you want me to do about it” attitude, and after a few words he hung up on me. I was hoping his mechanic could potentially take a look, or he would at least act like he cared and point me in the right direction since we had just purchased it. After giving up on James, I reached out to the warranty company. I had to pay over $550.00 (diagnosis, oil change and spark plugs) to a mechanic that accepts Proguard to find the issue, only to find out this warranty will only cover a small fraction of the cost of an engine. For an owner to knowingly sell unsafe vehicles and not disclose major defects is insane. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

This place is utterly unprofessional. I attempted to purchase a vehicle from them through a cash purchase, with the intention of having it shipped to my home in New York. However, they deceived me by claiming that the car had been sold when I called from a different number, only to inform me that it was still available. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the representative Kim repeatedly hung up on me. The service provided was absolutely appalling.

Very relaxed place, which for me is awesome gave me time to look around and then walked in and asked about the vehicles. I wanted to check out the process was easy and smooth. I highly recommend this dealership.

Originally put a good review. However the car I’ve bought off of them had a check engine light. We dropped it off and they said it was low on coolant and they filled it up so it was all good to go. In the same day the check engine light came back, I used a OBD scanner and I’ve had at least 10 Issues come up on the screen and saw that they’ve deactivated most of the codes to make it look safe to drive and easy to sell. They’ve never disclosed any defects which they’re legally bound to do, and they sold me a car that’s honestly not even allowed on the road with the amount of defects it has. Also the low coolant they said they filled was false it still shows up on the scanner🤦♂️ Don’t go to 1st class auto sales it’s not worth the stress and extra money you have to put in to repair the beater cars they give you.

Do not go here. I rented a uhaul over the weekend and was just double charged due to every rate being changed after the rental was complete and returned on time. If they cheat you out of something so small then they will definitely sell you a lemon car. Garunteed

BEWARE OF FIRST CLASS AUTO SALES!!!! They sold a vehicle to my nephew and after the engine blew it was determined that the frame was so rusted that a new engine could not be installed. It was subsequently determined that THEY KNOWINGLY HID THE MECHANIC'S INSPECTION REPORT THAT NOTED THE DANGEROUS STATE OF THE FRAME. When asked for a copy of the report the mechanic was told by First Class that he was not to release it. We also found another mechanic's inspection that noted the "vehicle needs to be replaced" due to extreme frame rust. I realize that you buy used vehicles "as is" but when the owners knowingly sell unsafe vehicles and defraud their clients for a quick dollar, that is beyond reprehensible. Do yourself a favor and find another place to buy a vehicle. There are many others to choose from.

I had my car for three weeks exactly when the fuel pump and timing chain went out. I didn’t even have the title in hand before this happened. The warranty I was given was the absolute lowest warranty anyone can get and only covers $1200 of these repairs which are a grand total of $2,300. After spending about $6,000 CASH at the “dealership” I now need to pay $1200 to be able to drive it and I don’t even have real license plates for it yet. You suck. You’re terrible. You should make it right but I know you won’t so there’s reason to waste my breath on a stupid phone call. You’re horrible people using a façade to be relatable and sell junk cars. I hate what you’re doing and I hate what you stand for.

My son (with my assistance) purchased a car from 1st Class Auto Sales and received exceptional value and service. Kim (office manager) and James (owner) are quite amazing people. The country would be much better off with more people like them.

The absolute worst place to buy a car. My mom bought one at the beginning of January and as soon as she drove it off the lot the engine light came on. She called multiple times and got nothing. She went there and was told she’d get a phone call. She never got it. I called and finally got someone to look at the car. They told us they fixed the problem in December when it was evident they did not considering it was throwing the same code to what he “fixed” called again and again after this and still nothing. Bought a 90 warranty from them and they are not honoring it. They took advantage of her and sold her a car that was not up to par as they said. Would rate 0 if could. Honestly thinking about taking them to court.

BUYER BEWARE!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience with 1st Class Auto Sales that I feel compelled to share to warn others. The process started with high hopes but quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal that left me regretting my decision to do business with this dealership. When I first came across the listing for my vehicle, a 2016 Chevy Malibu, I was drawn to what seemed like a fair and competitive price. However, upon arriving at the dealership, I discovered that the advertised price was far from the truth. Hidden fees, additional charges, and unclear explanations inflated the cost significantly. The lack of transparency was a major red flag, but I decided to proceed, hoping the car itself would justify the expense. While they are fun to talk to, they were also very unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. Within a short time of driving the car home, it became clear that the vehicle was not in the reliable condition I had been promised. Despite being advertised as "inspected" and "ready to drive," the car began experiencing mechanical issues almost immediately. Repairs that should not have been necessary became an unexpected and costly burden. I feel they sold me a lemon. When I attempted to address these concerns with 1st Class Auto Sales, I was met with unresponsive and dismissive customer service. Calls and emails went unanswered for days, and when I finally got through to someone, James, the owner showed no willingness to take accountability or assist with resolving the issues. The staff brushed off my concerns and made it clear they had no interest in helping once the sale was complete. Adding insult to injury, the warranty they sold me turned out to be virtually useless. They had assured me it would provide peace of mind, but when I tried to use it, I discovered that it didn’t cover any of the problems I encountered. Their lack of transparency on this point felt deceitful and added to my frustration. I also felt pressured throughout the buying process. The staff seemed more interested in rushing me through the paperwork than ensuring I was comfortable with the terms of the sale. It was clear their priority was closing the deal as quickly as possible, with little regard for my satisfaction or trust. My experience with 1st Class Auto Sales has been nothing short of a nightmare. From misleading pricing to unresponsive customer service and a complete lack of integrity, this dealership has proven they care only about making a sale, not about their customers. This business is a SCAM and I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with them to think twice and take their money elsewhere.

1st class auto is an awesome place to get a car!!! They treat you like family here! I’ve gotten two cars from this place and The owner James is awesome and will fight to get you good rates on a car with the lender. Also James, (The Owner) was very flexible with my down payment and gave me time to pay the rest of it which I am so thankful for! I’m more than happy with my purchase of the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan R-line!! I love the experience I get when going through 1st class auto for a car! I’ll be coming back the next time I purchase a car!! Thank you guys at 1st class auto!!!!

My granddauhter Katrice C purchased Kia and immediately had issues oil leak and air conditioning not working. Informed them she would not be driving for a week on vacation. When she returned had to put oil in and air not working. She contacted them and owner not there told her to come back when she did they said nothing they could do. I called Kia and they said there was a couple of recalls on the car called Kim and ask her why if they check over car why was that not addressed and she said I don’t know have a nice day and hung up on me. My granddaughter did not have money to fix car so finally brought to Barnett Kia to get recall issues taken care of. They said the air conditioning had to be replaced which would cost $2500 and the warranty they had my granddaughter buy was useless because there was a hose leak that created the problem we had to put that on hold because we had to replace the oil filter housing and oil pan which cost $2500 which we did have fixed. Car still leaking oil now they think it’s an oil consumption issue which would be complete tear down of engine or replace engine which she does not have money for. They took total advantage of a young person who knows nothing about cars by having her buy a warranty that covers her nothing charge her 20% interest rate. I have left a bad rating with the BBB and have contacted the attorney generals office. They also suggest i contact the Minnesota Dept of Public Safety Dealer Unit and the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Response Center which I am going to do. Maybe also hire an attorney if needed. On there website they say 90 days or 4500 miles surely did not get that. You responded but you said no contact and has I stated above we did contact you several times so you are not being truthful and as far as this is November we do not have the money to fix the car. She even came in with a friend so we have a witness that will state you said could not do anything. If the hose was not leaking would not have the issue it’s what caused the issue to be worse.

Still in the process of purchasing a vehicle however, kim is very up front and not pushy at all. She truly helps to the best of her capabilities and doesn’t sugar coat anything a let’s you take the time you need to make a decision without pushing anything on you. Family owned too you can’t go wrong With that being said I take all of that back. After coming up with an agreement of 302 a month for a the only vehicle they would allow me to get which was blue that I didn’t even want. Now all the sudden went up to 390 something. I asked if it was a mistake etc because my dad and I and my notebook all had 302 but he wouldn’t listen to me he kept talking over me and now I’m supposed to be picking my new car up and now I have nothing and have to start all over again What happened I’m in tears and am mortified

My friend got her truck from here and she loved everything about this place. It doesn't hurt that they are black owned and very honest. Feels good to get a reliable vehicle without someone trying to get over on you or sell you a lemon. Highly recommend!!

It totally was my fault for not getting a pre inspection but my car turned out to be a total lemon. The test drive was great but literally repairs cost me $2000.

1st Class Auto Sales is definitely one of the BEST used car dealerships in the area. I took my youngest daughter to look at several cars we found on Marketplace....not a great experience!!! Thank goodness we found Kurt and James at 1st Class Auto Sales of Inver Grove Heights. They made the inspection and buying a used car experience go so smooth we brought our other daughter in that same week and she bought a car there as well.....we are all very very pleased with both vehicles!!!!!
