This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Based on recent feedback, Emterra Environmental USA- Lansing in East Lansing, MI scores 70/100. Drivers highlight clear directions, an on-site scale, and quick check-ins, though access can be tricky with a low bridge just past the entrance. Staff reviews are mixed: several note friendly, efficient service, while others report a rude scale‑shack interaction and a waste pickup complaint about damaged bins not replaced. Pricing, inventory/parts variety, and yard organization are not well covered, so overall value beyond access and speed remains uncertain.

496 going east exit 7 eor left just before rr overpass left into lot scale (she’ll also take load info) uturn facing trucks in dock pull into lot wait for dock
They totally destroyed my big garbage can and won't replace it. They also left the recycling bin in the ditch and won't pick it out. This is unacceptable as l pay to have my garbage and recycling bin picked up. So unhappy with the service I've been getting. And it seems like us l complain it gets worse.
Must approach going SOUTH on Pennsylvania. 12' bridge appx 100' past entrance. Entrance on left (it's the last driveway before bridge. Pull up to scale. Before pulling on scale, check-in with little scale house. (East bound 496 exit 7 to Pennsylvania Ave is closed. Recommend going past to next exit and coming back to west bound exit 7 to Pennsylvania Ave)
