The supervisor or lead, I believe his name is Dan/Daniel who was on the week night shift was great. I stopped in for a battery shim. He even assisted with placing it right into my car battery on the spot. Such a life saver!
It's advance Auto Parts just like all the rest. I think these Auto Parts stores need to get more creative and less commercialized give people options of. I don't know things to do to their cars. It's all the same thing all the time at right now. You know 10 times the price but who can control that? Not the population of America that's for sure. Not trying to be political or anything but if we can't do it who's doing it?.
This place is amazing! Everyone is super helpful. I had battery issues but it turned out to be a wire problem. And they didn’t stop until they figured it out. Saved my car, my money, and my day!
Was 99% sure I needed a Torx40 bit to adjust my trunk latch. On the way there I realized I should have double-checked with my own eyes rather than believe the internet. Pulled over and went to look and realized I needed a 10mm socket to pull two bolts out to remove a vinyl piece to access the latch. "No problem, I'll just borrow one when I get there." Arrive there, get the Torx40, go to counter, "can I borrow a 10mm real quick to check something?" "Nope." "I literally just need to pull two bolts out in the parking lot." Employee told me I could "buy a socket wrench" and then laughed and said "you need to know what you're buying" which was the icing on the cake. Yes, I get it, I should have pulled those 10mms out at home and double-checked before heading over. Meanwhile another employee was changing a battery for another customer...so they can change a battery but won't 1) let me borrow a socket wrench just in the parking lot or better yet, just like the battery replacement, 2) an EMPLOYEE could pull out those two bolts for me with a socket as a courtesy (is a battery replacement not a much bigger ask??). Sure, partly my fault but a huge customer service loss that could have gone another way very easily.
The staff at this store was incredibly helpful. I had some issues with parts I purchased. They exchanged them for the correct parts and installed them professionally and hassle free. Jose T. went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will be bringing my business to this store every opportunity I get.
I can’t rave about this place more. We had a dead battery, it started raining. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. But everyone here was so helpful. Specifically Issac. He was so helpful and so kind. He came out in rain to help us, and just went above and beyond.
No knowledge on looking things up on computer . I had to look up my own oil. Cause they had no clue on how to look it up. I'm greatful I didn't need a new battery or a starter! Smh dissatisfied and discussed !!
My car wouldn’t start in the morning and I came to advanced, I came in and Jose was very helpful, I wasn’t sure if I actually needed a battery or not and so he offered to do a test and I suspected it was the battery. Jose then showed me what he had available and since I didn’t know much about battery’s he explains it in full detail, he’s a very Knowledgeable person he got me the right battery and even installed it for me what a great guy.
I walked in and right away Miguel asked me what I needed. He looked it up and showed me different offers on windshield wipers. He explained all the different prices and didn’t pressure me into buying the most expensive ones but with his knowledge and the information that he gave me I bought the best ones. Not only did he help me with purchasing my wipers but he also offered to install them for me. I was so grateful☺️ He is a great guy who I can tell loves his job! Thank you Miguel

Went there tonight for a new battery for my Lexus suv and I can’t tell you how amazing and accommodating the staff was in helping me. There were three gentlemen working and they were all very busy but they were so helpful. I wish I had the gentlemen’s name who helped me directly to let his boss know how personable and excellent the staff is!!!
Friendly and knowledgable people and no pressure to upgrade you. Took care of everything in short period of time and then on my way. Place to go for auto parts

I ordered a car battery (in stock?) online and picked this store for pickup on January 5th. The order was never filled. I just got the cancellation email this morning. (12 days later)
Went to buy a new car battery to replace my old one. Outstanding customer service, the sales associate helped me pick the right battery and installed it on the spot. Not only did he install the new battery he went the extra mile and cleaned out some of the corroded parts around the battery. Sadly I forgot to ask him his name, but again really outstanding customer service! This location is also really easy to find and there's always lots of parking.
MAKE SURE TO TAKE PICTURE OF THE SALE PRICE!! They are usually a good store until one of them messes up what Brand is on sale. They will switch out the sales tag saying Mobile 1 gear oil is Price Cut to $9.99 or what ever it is.To the brand that is the actual one they "want" to be on sale. Even after the first employee went back to make sure there was actully a Price Cut on the Mobile 1 gear oil I wanted due to the deal. He read the Price Cut tag and agreeded it says its on sale but says "let me have another employee check". Well that employee goes an takes off the sale tag brings up one saying a completly different brand and says "oh you must have meant to grab the carquest brand that's what the Price Cut tag says" I used to like this store for little things but will not use them after that. If they will do that what's next selling you a bottle of "premium" something but is really only the premium label on the economy product? I will go to General Auto on haverhill st in lawerence for everything from now on! I highly suggest you all will to! Best part about General is they are a Mom & Pop shop👍
It doesn’t take much to give customer service however it does take much to give great customer service.
Jose you have given me great customer service every time I walked into a store where so I should be privileged to have somebody like you on our team.

Customer service is lacking at this location. Very rude regarding return policy, manager needed to be called- thankfully he was much more professional.

Came in here after being sold the wrong part from an Advance Auto on Middlesex street in Lowell. They happily exchanged the item and gave me the correct part.
I am starting to love this place. But recently was not impressed with the lack of service. I felt like i had interrupted there important conversations as 4 employees were gathered all around each other. Then after i got my order i ask another question and seriously got a huge sigh and look. I just left.
I was looking for dielectric greese had been to cap auto auto zone and one other my last chance was advance auto when I asked the guy behind the counter for dielectric greese I got that same deer in the headlights look some young girl pops her head around the corner and asked if I needed help welli asked do you have and she said dielectric greese sure right this way so now I look for her when I buy parts
