I have been bringing my car, a hybrid Chevy Volt to Mirak when needed and have no complaints about them. I have bad experience with GM that kept my car inoperable for most of a year as part of a warranty repair. I had received some GM points as compensation that I was told could be used for service. At the end of January I brought my car in for routine service and when I wanted to use GM points to pay it was denied. Mirak had sold its franchise to McGovern a few days earlier and I was told there were no changes. But it turned out their and GM's systems weren't set up completely. The dealership, same crew as with Mirak failed to let me know before hand and GM gave me the runaround hiding behind administrative rules making it clear that it's not their problem. Yes, it was unfortunate timing but both GM and the dealership failed because neither party wanted to take ownership of the issue leaving me holding the bag.

Our experience with this dealership’s body shop was one of the worst we have ever had. Communication was consistently poor phone calls were rarely returned, updates were minimal to nonexistent, and even our insurance company complained multiple times that it was extremely difficult to reach anyone at Mirak/McGovern. During this process, the dealership was transitioning from Myrak to McGovern. We initially believed the change in ownership would lead to better service and management. Unfortunately, the opposite proved true the poor treatment and disorganization continued under the new management. That said, Carla was a bright spot in this experience. She was respectful, professional, and genuinely good to work with. We appreciated her effort and demeanor during a very frustrating situation. When we raised concerns with the manager, Bob, he was dismissive and rude. He stated that he was under no obligation to provide a timeline because he did not know when parts would arrive. As a result, repairs took an unreasonable 85 days to complete, with delays that were never clearly explained or justified. To make matters worse, when our insurance company stopped covering the rental car due to the excessive delay, the dealership refused to provide a loaner vehicle. This left us with unexpected out-of-pocket costs that were entirely caused by their lack of accountability and slow process. Overall, the manager made it clear that our concerns did not matter to him. When we mentioned that we might consider legal action due to the financial burden and mishandling of our case, his response was simply, “Have at it — have a ball.” This dealership caused unnecessary stress, financial strain, and frustration, and we would not recommend their body shop to anyone.

From start to finish, both David and Edward were incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to understand my situation, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was taken care of without any pressure or runaround. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in their work. In an industry where that level of service isn’t always guaranteed, these two stood out. I really appreciate the effort they put in to help me, and it made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. If you’re looking for honest, reliable service, I highly recommend McGovern Chevrolet — and especially David Petrosyan and Edward Devana

I recently purchased a new vehicle from this dealership and worked with Anthony from the start. This was my first time ever at this dealership and I couldn’t have been happier with the service I received from Anthony. He was professional, trustworthy, and just an easy person to communicate with. Buying a car is usually a stressful situation but he made everything as easy as possible and was up front about everything. If you are in this area and looking for a new vehicle, I would highly recommend getting in touch with him! And I absolutely love my new vehicle.

My experience at this dealership was extremely frustrating and disappointing. From the start, the service advisor demonstrated very poor customer service. Every concern I raised was immediately dismissed or minimized, often in a way that made it seem like I didn’t understand my own vehicle. Instead of listening and properly investigating the issues, he consistently tried to explain them away as “normal.” For example, I explained that the AEB was activating randomly on the highway with no vehicles nearby. Rather than taking this seriously, I was told this was normal and that I could simply turn off the sensors. The service advisor even added that this is what he personally does with his own car because he likes driving “as if it were a car from the 90s.” This response was completely unacceptable. I did not purchase a nearly $60k vehicle to disable its safety features. I bought a modern car specifically to benefit from its technology and safety systems, and I expect it to function like a 2024 vehicle, not a 1990 one. I also reported that the rain-sensing wipers were not working properly. I was told this might be because the camera was dirty, even though this feature is not camera-based. I specifically requested a vehicle software update (VWP) and radio update. GM clearly states that this can be performed whenever a vehicle is in for service, yet I was initially told it would not be done unless there was an issue. After repeatedly insisting and listing multiple glitches, I was told they would “see if it could be done.” When I picked up the vehicle, it was clear that it had not been updated to the latest available software version, meaning the update was either incomplete or not performed correctly. Another major issue was a loud and constant noise coming from around the sunroof area, which is visibly loose. I had to wedge folded paper in place just to temporarily stop the noise. Once again, this concern was treated as if I were imagining it. I was told the technicians “couldn’t hear anything,” which is very hard to believe given how loud and noticeable the noise is. I was also told an adjustment had been made, but the problem remains unchanged. Simply pushing the area by hand makes it obvious that it is not properly secured. To make matters worse, I was told there was no estimated completion time and that the service could take weeks. I was also informed that because I did not purchase my vehicle from this dealership, I would not be provided with a loaner. While the service ultimately took two days, the lack of communication, dismissive attitude, and unnecessary stress made the entire experience extremely unpleasant. Overall, this was one of the worst dealership service experiences I have had. I would not return to this location and would not recommend it to anyone.

Had a good experience with getting new parts installed by the service team. Did recently have an issue with one of the parts, and was able to get an appointment in place to check it out. Unfortunately I had an illness which caused me to reschedule, except the scheduler was not available. Ever since then I have had no follow up for another appointment, and it has been weeks. I have tried calling numerous times but it seems their new AI call system does anything but help. Getting a simple phone call to their service department is next to impossible. Now I’m stuck with a defective part and no follow up. Update: It’s been a week, and left a message and still no response from them.

Amazing people! 2nd time here and 2nd car! It wasn’t an easy process due to a glitch on my part, but they miraculously made it happen! I am indebted to Chuck, Sammy and the whole crew that were helpful as a whole team and I’m so grateful! Thank you with all my heart you are wonderful! They truly are!!!

I have been on the market now for a Chevy traverse for about two months. I had been numerous other places with no luck. Anthony here at Mirak was outstanding. I explained to him my situation and how I really needed the negotiation to be transparent and quick. Anthony listened to me, and executed perfectly. I could not be happier with my car or the experience. This business honors their word. Thank you

Inflated pricing. Came in for a battery/ESC issue. Battery tested bad and replacement was quoted at $528. I was also charged a separate $209 diagnostic fee for an unrelated keypad issue, which was not credited toward the battery. Battery test diagnostic fee was surprisingly $0. 👏Total would have been ~$720. Declined the battery and replaced the correct AGM elsewhere for much less ($300, parts and labor). Pricing is aggressive with complete disregard to being a frequent customer. My advice: Get out-the-door pricing and line items in writing before approving anything. NOTE: Also, it looks, like Anna Filoso (a different reviewer) dealt with the same issue and MIRAK tried to frame it as a different problem. Seems like MIRAK would try anything to justify their inflated pricing. My response to the dealer: Your attempt to “clarify the facts” just proves the point: you’re spinning a simple battery swap into a defensive lecture instead of addressing the inflated pricing. Posting on both pages is called transparency, not “confusion.” Mirak asked for a review via spamming texts, and here it is. The OEM quote was absurd for a basic AGM replacement, and hiding behind “factory-trained technicians” doesn’t justify a 2x mark-up. In addition: Charging $208 just to tell me “the keypad is unrepairable” isn’t diagnostics — it’s a padded fee for stating the obvious. Frequent customers don’t get treated like fools. I declined the work because I don’t reward predatory pricing — and based on other reviews, this isn’t a one-off.

To make a very long story short, I had to replace my battery current sensor in another state but was unable to as the part arrived damaged from shipping and I could not wait for another order. I was quoted by two dealerships in the area that the entire service would take around 1 hour and the total cost would be roughly $200 (they just could not get the sensor before I had to leave). I arrived at Mirak dealership, informed them of all of this and was told that "they lied to me" and that the labor cost alone would be around $700. When I presented the paperwork and the quote I was told that that was "impossible." A quick google search also confirms that the original quote would be correct and that the part is not only cheap, but easy to install within an hour time frame with basic mechanic knowledge. The whole experience was very frustrating, the employee I was working with was extremely dismissive, and I would not recommend this dealership if you are a young woman looking to get your car repaired.

AVOID this dealership! They will know exactly who I am, this is a true story. I was interested in a Chevy Colorado ZR2 midnight edition 2025 brand new, it’s there right up front the building right now. I walked around the vehicle multiple times and noticed more scratches scuffs and marks on the drivers side tailgate than I could count, it was an absolutely awful presentation. I put that aside and asks sales to take it for a test drive, THE VEHICLE DIDNT EVEN START! They knew I was coming in that morning to check it out! That’s completely unacceptable for a dealership. So after they jump started a brand new $59k dollar truck, it was actually a smooth ride, O’Shane the sales personal was actual a more than reasonable salesman and was very polite. After that bad of a presentation I didn’t even wanna buy the vehicle, I sat down and decided to talk money with sales, I put out the first offer of $55k flat out the door after the pretty horrid experience, I qualified for every discount they could offer. After I’d made the offer, the sales manager Todd who didn’t even have the decency to stand up out of his chair and talk business with me, with has back turned to me sitting down in another cubicle just decided it was a good idea to belch out loud that “he’s never going to entertain that idea”, so I’d mentioned back well I’m no longer going to entertain the sale and left. The vehicle is still there right now and looks as if it was honestly used, it had scuffs all over and they know it, and the brand new vehicle having a dead battery is terrible. Plus, I spoke all day long with another salesman named Al I’d mentioned I’d be there first thing today, and I was, he didn’t even consider mentioning the fact he takes Tuesdays off lol. This is all a true story and they know it. Don’t waste your time and money here.

on 9/15 repairs cost me over $2000 and then on 9/22 repairs cost me over $1700 the SAME Mirak Technician worked on both times. So when I was driving my car for a couple days. I smelt something burning and then a message n my screen stating " Engine over heating ". Not so great. I stop my car and pop my hood - I detected my coolant was completely empty and the cover was off! The cover was caught by two rubber hoses. So what happen was my coolant was splashing out(DexCOOL) and dripping down below my car. I had my next door neighbour drive me to an auto store. I bought 2 DEXcool gallons. Couldn't believe it - it took TWO gallons of DexCool to fill up my coolant tank and then I made sure the cover was on tightly. Took my car back to Mirak service and talk to the manager. The manager was great he clearly understood where I was coming from. But even more bad news - the manager just told they detect a rubber hose for the coolant wasn't even on . I told the manager I never want this technician to work on my car! The manager did a GREAT JOB FIXING ALL ISSUES AND DID A DRIVE TEST TWICE FOR ME!!! Plus this was a NO CHARGE! Overall I am NOW HAPPY! But before this I was very upset! But Overall everything is running great on my car!

Brett took his time to explain what was going on with the truck, how he was going to fix the issue and what needs to be done soon. I will definitely be going back to him and the Mirak shop.

My experience was nothing but phenomenal. I found Chuck to be extremely honest and an overall standup person. I would highly recommend anyone to ask for Chuck if they’re buying a car. I’m very satisfied with overall experience at this dealership as well. It was honestly the least stress I’ve had purchasing a car in my life. Thank you all!

I live on Cape Cod & although it wasn't convenient to travel to Mirak Chevrolet, it was worth the trip. I had tried to deal with several dealerships on Cape & off, but the experience at Mirak was so much better. They were responsive: I found the truck online early Friday morning and had a text almost immediatly. I delt with Al Salvia the sales manager who confrimed they had the vehicle I was interested in, & he confirmed what I wanted to trade. It took some negotiation before I arrived at the dealership, but Al gave me the "sense" that at least they would consider my "trade number" if I was willing to take the drive. Arriving at the dealership: to my surprise, the advertised price was exactly what I bought the truck for. They offered $29K for my mint Silverado, I wanted $32K and we compromised at $31K & I felt that was fair. It was a friendly, seamless negotiation & I left feeling like I struck gold. The next day I wanted to firm up the delivery for Monday as we were on a tight schedule. I tried multiple times - I confirmed that my salesman was working, I left a couple of messages, I texted and then I started to wonder what was going on. It wasn't until I told the salesman that he needed to call my by end of business or we were walking away that I got a response. Are you kidding - you were busy. I run a multi million dollar business and have 6 houses that I manage and your busy... no get back to customers. My biggest concern was that the truck would be ready on Monday for delivery, because my wife had a doctors appointment. I communicated that to Jim & of course wasn't done. The delivery: Monday came and the truck wasn't ready. When Jim did take it for fuel which was at the end of all the paperwork - he heard something, took it to service and didn't tell us? So we are sitting in the waiting area watching him service other customers and not knowing what is going on. I started to "boil" because now I own this truck thats in service and it's not clear how we are going to get home. It all should have been avoided... the process was not good. But I gave them grace, the truck, the price, the trade, Al Salvia, & the finance manager were all awesome. We got the truck we wanted and got on our way... so ultimately I would buy another truck, but had to give the dealer 4 stars instead of 5.

Worst experience ever. Avoid this Chevrolet service to repair your car. They couldn’t fix my car and charge me 1400 dollars. Also they were rude and disrespectful. They don’t care the customers and just want it to take money out of your pocket. If I could give them 0 stars I would so it for sure. This picture was taken after they “fixed” the problem…

I recently bought an Equinox EV from this dealership. While the car so far has been wonderful, my experience here was very subpar. Some of the people I interacted with seemed to have poor customer service skills. Instantly gave me a bad feeling. Communication was very poor between employees at the dealership. It was a bit difficult to do things over the phone as they were able to control the timing but it was the only thing that worked out for me. High pressure sales tactics and possibly a bit of dishonesty was still used from them despite the fact that I had a deposit on the car for almost a month. I was assured multiple times I would recieve things like points towards my GM Rewards account for the purchase (which has not happened). Picking up the car was one of the worst experiences. It should not have taken 4+ hours to do that as papers were signed. I was told the car would be ready when I came in to pick it up, yet putting plates on the car took about 2 hours. It seemed like nothing but excuses were offered for this inconvenice. My salesperson, Stewart, was nice but the other people I had few interactions like Al and Sammy, are not people I want to interact with again. If you are planning on obtaining a vechicle here, make sure to go in with numbers you won't budge from.

If you are rich and want to be lied to, go here. I can't believe this. This place charged me 330 dollars to check on my A/C and my brakes and the numbers they gave were COMPLETELY falsified. The brakes numbers were 5mm in the front and 2 and 3mm in the back according to this place, but measuring it in person, all of the numbers were practically double that (11 and 10 in the front, 4 and 5 in the back). At the cost of my wallet at least I can say that they did check my A/C and did it right. The prices for everything were outrageous and I will say I will NEVER be going back here again.

IF I could, I would give 0 STARS Unfortunately, my experience at Mirak ARLINGOTN was extremely disappointing. I went in to request a quote and had the opportunity to test drive the car and simulate the pricing. Initially, everything seemed to go smoothly, but when I expressed my intention to proceed, the offer was not accepted. I was then asked to redo the simulation under a personal name, but the resulting price was far too high. At that point, I explicitly requested that no application be submitted. However, to my surprise, the following day I received a negative response, despite having made it clear that I did not want to move forward. The situation became even more serious: to date, at least 15 banks have sent a negative response not only to me, but also to my wife and even our company, without any of us having given consent for these applications. I consider this behavior very serious and have already decided to consult my legal advisor. Furthermore, the manager’s attitude was unprofessional and far below the standards of respect that every customer deserves. I strongly urge you to take appropriate action regarding these improper practices. Fortunately, the next day I went to Subaru, where I was welcomed with courtesy and transparency, and I purchased my new car there. I firmly believe that if the Mirak staff — especially the manager — had acted professionally and respectfully, the outcome could have been very different for them as well.

Bob Winters at Mirak Chevrolet is a real life guardian angel!! He watched me back into a construction vehicle and tear off my rear bumper. He immediately approached me to offer help and had me in and out of his collision center in 20 minutes with my bumper reattached at no charge!?! Laurie Marshall in the office made me feel so welcome while I waited. This place is clean, quick, and full of kind and wonderful people happy to help. I recommend Mirak for any and all automotive needs.

I have owned over 30 cars in my lifetime and have dealt with many dealerships, including Herb Chambers, Nissan of Brockton, Nissan of Dartmouth, Central Dodge, Avon Auto Brokers, Clair Acura, and Boch. I even had the chance to meet the old man Boch with my grandmother as a child. Coming from a family of automobile buyers, the love for cars is in our blood. That being said, I have never encountered such a non-service-oriented group of people as I did at Mirak Arlington. Chuck, Raphael, Oshane, and Al were particularly disappointing. It’s almost unbelievable. Not only did Al hang up on my wife, but he also lied to me about the entire situation, unaware that I was on the phone. Oshane never returned a call to my mother-in-law to keep her informed about what was going on. Chuck sounded like he was a throwback from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," and I half-expected him to break out with a "Heyyy" like Fonzie. As for Raphael, he wouldn’t know how to score if it were a sure thing. Someone needs to give the general manager a "Good Job" badge for assembling the greatest group of undesirables I've ever seen. I know there are others who will read this and who have dealt with these individuals; they should share their stories to help put these people out of business. They took a thousand dollars from a 72-year-old woman who tried to buy a car on her own so she wouldn't feel like she was receiving a handout from my wife and me, as we offered her one of our cars. All she wanted was to maintain her independence, so she handled everything herself without asking for help. Today, she will be going to get her thousand dollars back.

Clean and welcoming space. The staff was attentive to our needs. They kept communication open whether via text, call or email. They were courteous and respectful. The staff went above and beyond to make the numbers work for our family. We appreciate everyone who helped: Oscar, Todd, Chuck and Sammy!

I was glad to purchase the vehicle I wanted, but I am disappointed that the verbal agreement made during my first visit was not documented, leading to discrepancies in the deal. Initially, after running my credit score, the deal fell through because the bank had closed. The next day, I received several calls proposing a renegotiation, including questions like, "Wouldn't you prefer to finance instead of lease?" This was frustrating, as I thought we had reached an agreement the day before, highlighting a lack of transparency. I was then kept waiting for an update, only to be informed that the bank had approved my loan and that I might need a co-signer. I was working at the time and couldn’t answer their calls; the messages simply said, "Please call me when you can," rather than confirming my approval status as I had requested. Additionally, I assumed my lease on a high-value vehicle (2025 Tahoe Z71) would cover minor scratches or dents by the end of the lease. However, I later discovered I had to pay an extra fee that was never mentioned when I agreed to the purchase. This additional fee would affect my monthly payment. I agreed to the deal on April 1st, but the papers were not signed until April 4th. The situation worsened when I was told that the two payments of $430 I had been offered for my previous car lease was a "misunderstanding" and that it never actually happened. Once again, I felt betrayed, frustrated, and disappointed. Ultimately, I decided to walk away and accept their dishonesty. My impression is that the dealers and managers are eager to close deals to earn bonuses, but later reconsider and ask for more money. The vehicle was not ready until April 7th, and even now, two weeks later, I still don’t know when and where I will make my first monthly payment. When I picked up the car, I was told that banks sometimes give a grace period of one or up two months before the first payment is due, which I find hard to believe.

My car had a safety warranty recall that the dealer I originally purchased from would not honor or fix. Mirak acknowledged everything discussed with the other dealer and I had my car fixed under warranty and back on the road in 24 hours and it’s never driven better! Thank you for the quick service and honesty!

Gesse, the sales rep, helped me find my perfect truck just for what I needed! Easily contacted and responsive. In and out of the dealer in three hours with a new truck! I needed it for towing my two horses and the financial advisor also got me the best rate possible. 100% recommend.

My 2017 Volt needed an oil change. I wanted to test drive the Equinox EV. I called for an appointment. I arrived an hour later. My oil change was completed as I drove out of the dealership in the Equinox EV. “Now that’s getting things done” and done the way I like it.

Gesse and Sammy at Mirak were an absolute delight to work with! I called ahead of time to tell them about the truck I was interested in and they had it out front with my name on it when I came to look at it. Made the buying process so easy and I would recommend anyone looking to buy a new vehicle to go to Mirak and ask for Gesse!

They did a great job from start to finish. They even picked me up to get all the paperwork done. The thing is. I saw one of there cars online and loved it. The car, color, miles, and the money was just right for me. I live in Buzzards Bay near Cape Cod. The fact that they were willing to help me and come to pick me up to look at the car and do the paperwork was awesome. See they didn't know I would buy the car and was still willing to pick me up and drive me home. That meant a lot to me. So Thank You!!!!!
