clearly told them my car’s horn wasn’t working, yet they still charged me a $60 diagnostic fee without fixing anything. There is a serious lack of communication within this shop — no one seems to know what they’re doing, and the staff does a terrible job informing customers. They insisted that I leave my car even though I had already explained the exact issue, and then charged me for “diagnosing” the same problem I told them from the start. On top of that, the owner was extremely rude on the phone and even hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Save your time and money — avoid this place.

Went to Eli's to have tires mounted and balanced, excellent experience. Have had bad luck lately with big brand tire shops, so decided to go local this time around. Super easy process, and charged way less then comparable shops in the area. Will be taking my cars here for more work in the future!

Eli's Service Station is a great example of a good and reliable local service station. As an owner of an older Buick I appreciate the quality repairs and friendly service. They have helped to keep my Buick in top running condition. After relocating to the area two years ago I wanted to find a local place for repairs and inspection. I asked them at the start to give my car a thorough going over. It's been two years of asking them to check my brakes and it wasn't until this year that we both agreed it was time. So we scheduled the appointment and new discs and rotors were completed in less than two hours. I like to get to know the people who are working on my car, and Richie, the manager, is very helpful and attentive. I also try to patronize the service station I use for repairs for oil changes and fill-ups. It's been recommended to me before to put premium gas in my older car. It has the Series III GM 3800, what I have heard called the indomitable GM 3.8 liter V6. This engine has powered almost all GM full size vehicles during its long run. I also try to buy gas there whenever I can. I appreciate the helpful and friendly service. Eli's Service Station is on Broadway in Arlington which is a wide and comfortable thoroughfare where you don't have to fight speeding traffic to get in or out. There are also several small establishments nearby which you can visit, including Dunkin' if you need to wait a few minutes for your repair. Overall, I recommend Eli's to anyone who needs reliable automotive service and repairs. If you are looking for inspection, give Richie a call and schedule an appointment. You may be surprised how quickly they can get you through the process.

After getting some very suspect work done I confirmed with locals that the people in this network of shops are known for scamming. Came for inspection and received a $1400 bill for work that I did not ask for. Asked for an inspection and exhaust install. Come to the shop for a "completed job" with a rattling exhaust and brakes that are terrifying to use (air in lines) after he replaced pads rotors and calipers.. Unable to confidently stop and genuinely dangerous to drive on the road. He fixed this for free after I mentioned that this issue did not already exist. He also destroyed my handbrake, and the cables alone are $250. He also decided to take out tints that I had recently installed. If you are looking for a place for your car to get bullied, look no further. One year followup: confirmed with mechanic that they unlinked my ebrake cable. This is surprising because they denied fault at the time and refused to fix it. Despite my ebrake working prior to the "brake job." Another $250 of parts down the drain for a scammer. Run.

I've been living in this neighborhood for years and have been very satisfied having Eli's Service station so close by. I get my Jeep Wrangler and my wife's Acura RDX serviced here whenever needed. I trust their opinion and recommendations. The staff are very helpful, honest, and the turnaround times are fast.

Simply stated- if you are looking for a service station you can trust and rely on- Eli's Service Station is the place. You get peace of mind knowing your vehicle is in good hands. The staff is friendly and supportive. Plus, their turnaround times are impressive, and they keep you informed throughout the entire process. It’s clear they prioritize long-term customer relationships over quick profits. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be a loyal customer for years to come!

I love going to Eli’s for repair work. They're fast and professional. The estimates for the work are accurate, with no surprises. They handle emergencies quickly. I once planned a big trip to New York City, but the car needed a repair at midday on Friday. Richie and his team had the car ready Saturday morning, and I was able to get to the Big Apple as planned. They also give you a heads-up on what you will need to do with your car in the future and how long you can wait before it becomes a problem. That helps with financial planning. It's also nice that you can pick your car up at any time the gas station is open. That means that you can drop your car off in the morning and don't have to rush home from work to pick it up before the garage closes.

Needed an opinion asap as my engine emergency light went on and wasn’t sure whether I should continue driving or not just right outside Elie & Ella’s repair shop on Mass Ave. I was greeted by Rabi and Ali who gave me all the information I needed to take care of the situation and to continue safely on my way. They both were extremely, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and refused to be paid for their services. Great service and interpersonal skill! I would definitely use the station for service if I lived in the area.

Recommended! I always gas up at Eli’s and have been bringing my car to Richie for a few+ years now. My poor baby (she’s 8, after all) recently lost all electrical functioning very suddenly. I was horrified, and I called Eli’s! Richie was kind enough to come by my house and give her a jump so I could get her over to their shop. He sourced the parts and called me with options, explaining them thoroughly with no pressure to pick the higher priced options. He also quoted the price including parts, labor, and tax (no surprises, ever). My baby was back on the road a few days later with her new electrical. I trust Richie and his team and know they’re not out here trying to scam anyone, especially a woman like me who knows very little about cars. I’ve had tires changed and balanced, aircon issues looked at, and a bunch of other things. Grateful they’re near me!

Eli's will always be my first option for regular car maintenance or repairs. I saved a lot over what the dealer quoted me and the car runs just as well. Customer service is always great too.

I've been taking my 15 year old car to Eli's for four years. They've helped me repair my mirrors, replaced my battery, changed the oil, replaced tires, done inspections, given recommendations for body work, and just recently fixed my AC. They're honest, transparent about cost, friendly, and fast. Often I get my car returned the same day. I'm incredibly grateful for such a competent neighborhood mechanic and I recommend them to anyone who needs work on their car!

Eli's is amazing! Ritchie is customer oriented, their service is efficient, professional & courteous. We are new to the area and we are so happy we found Eli's! We will be bringing all of our cars here from now on. They are honest and clear with their pricing and explain what work is needed. I can not recommend them enough!

A couple+ years ago I rode by and saw Eli's gas prices, which were noticeably lower than other gas stations in the neighborhood. I guessed it to be an advertising ploy, likely a a bait and switch technique but I guessed wrong! Eli's prices continue to be routinely lower. Almost 2 years ago I needed a new AC so I got estimates from 1/2 dozen other locations - Eli's was lower or comparable to industry standard. During this service I witnessed how their customer services shine (right along with the inside waiting area!). All staff are always pleasant, always kind and go above and beyond to be helpful. Eli's of course, is my go-to for yearly State inspection. The most important business practice to me and my family is honesty. Ritchie has always only leveled with me, he demonstrates his business acumen in ways that are clean and ethical. It's awesome doing business with Eli's!

Eli’s is the only place I bring my cars. They take care of any car from my Subaru to my Audi. It’s always top notch work and care. They explain what’s going on and devise the best path for you and your car. I would recommend Eli’s to anyone who wants to be treated correctly and with care.

I have been taking my car to Eli's for 4 years. It is a really awesome thing to have a car shop that you can trust to do good work and also not suggest you repair things that are not really necessary. That is this shop. I have come to really trust Richie and the team at Eli's. If someone asks where to send their car, this is where I send them.

I routinely take both my wifes and my car to Eli's Service Station for oil changes and inspection stickers. Staff there is super nice and Richie behind the desk is awesome to deal with. Quality work done in a timely manner. I will be back.

10/10 experience for my oil change, fluid top off, and tire rotation! I'm new to the area from out of state, and a friend recommended I get my car serviced here. He was right, the service here is incredibly kind, quick, and thorough. I wasn't aware of Eli's online coupons/specials, but they applied these deals at the time of check out - I appreciate their genuine care for their customers! I will definitely be coming back for my next service and recommending it to my friends!

Great little neighborhood Service station which offers State inspection. The state inspection is always quick and I have been getting my car inspected here ever since I moved to West Medford. The gas prices are always reasonable and it's a full service too. The only complaint: Smile people. It takes a lot less muscles to smile :)

I went to Eli’s for an oil change for the first time after moving to Arlington. The overall experience was good. Richie is professional and responsive. The only complaint I have is that when I opened up the hood after driving home, the cap for the window washer was not closed. I can’t believe this happened.

I cannot recommend Eli’s service station enough! After an accident, I needed someone reliable to fix my car, and they exceeded all expectations. They communicated clearly, kept me informed throughout the process, and delivered flawless results. The level of professionalism and care received was outstanding. Eli's is the best! Having known the family for many years, I bring my vehicle here every year. This is a great family-owned business that is run with honesty and integrity. They know how to take care of their customers from the owners down to the employees. Whenever someone needs work done on their vehicle, I recommend their services. This is an amazing team, and I am grateful for them.

Love Eli's! Have been bringing my car here for years. Normally work with Ritchie. Everyone here is very honest and straightforward with quoting, servicing and timelines. They have even told me I don't need repairs done that other (subpar) mechanics suggested! Brought my car here for a second opinion and super happy I did. They also understand the mental dance we all do deciding if an older car "really needs" this work done or if it's time to sell it. I always get honest advice, never feel like they have an agenda.

Eli’s has been my go to mechanic for a couple years now and they are just incredible. Richie is so good at letting you know what’s going on and how much everything is going to cost. I recently brought my car in with multiple issues and they assessed it, got the parts, and fixed everything in one day. My car ran better than it has in years. I will literally never go to another mechanic. Eli’s is the BEST.

Eli's Service Station is a great place with great people! Had my car inspected here multiple times and it is always a great experience. Today, one of the service men helped me when I lost my registration so I could still proceed with my inspection. My husband also had a great experience here with his car. I highly recommend taking your car here if you need a service or gas!

I have always had great service at Eli’s. They have always been prompt and professional. They are able to explain the issue with your vehicle and give different options for repair depending on your budget. They also have great cash-only gas sales. I would recommend this shop for quick and complete turnaround.

Eli’s is probably the best car shop I’ve come across in a While. I brought my car in to get a second opinion after my dealership said I need $1800 in repairs. George called me from the shop saying I owe him exactly $45 since my car was perfectly fine aside from a couple of loose parts which he tightened up. I was in complete shock and obviously incredibly excited. They didn’t try cheating me out of my money nor make up stories. I am definitely going back and recommend everyone go check them out! They are wonderful!

We have been going to Eli's for several years now, and they are wonderful! They really look out for you. Most recently I took a van there because a check engine light came on. They identified what needed to be done (which was expensive!) and found out for me that there were 2 days left on my warranty, which I didn't realize! George the manager referred me to the dealership so I could get the work done for free, giving up what would have been a lucrative job for them. Further back I brought an older car in with an exhaust problem. George was honest again: he told me to do the job right, the parts would cost enough to equal the value of the car. He mentioned a cheaper option with other parts but warned it would probably not last long, so I ended up trading in the car. This was after he had spent a long time investigating the options and pricing them, and he didn't even charge me for that time! Likewise for the van he didn't charge me for the time he took to evaluate the problem and call the dealership. He clearly has a great deal of integrity and has your back, a rare and precious quality in a mechanic!
