1/21/26: I’ve bought headlight bulbs from this store before, always stocked with whatever I’d need. One day, I had a stubborn lamp that just wouldn’t budge. In what happened to be below-freezing weather, the nerves in my fingers had less patience with me than usual. So I reached a point where I decided to turn to people slightly more “mechanically inclined” than yours truly. Store manager Tyler came out with no hesitation to help me out. He fixed it within minutes. No problems. No charge. They didn’t even try to sell me anything. So I implore anyone reading this, in the Salem area (or beyond): if you’re in search of any auto parts or car-related products/items, etc…..Then go to this store. They’ll help with what you’re looking for.
2/17/26: Apparently you can only review a place once, so Trey helped me out today, I gotta give this store another thumbs up for its skilled staff and exemplary service.
Stopped in earlier today for new windshield wipers and Djay Batts was extremely helpful and even put them on for me for free! He was friendly and I will definitely come back to see him for all of my car repair needs. Thanks Djay!

this is the best auto zone i have ever set feet in this store and the employers are respectful and helpful this store is comletetely in order. the manger thats manging this store is a star and a gentleman along with hos workers. this is a heaven sent auto zone

Yesterday morning on my way to work, I had to stop to replace a windshield wiper. The two guys, TJ and Connor(?) were phenomenal! They went out of their way to get my wiper changed with great attitudes and a much appreciated "service" mode...I will always go back to their shop for any of my car needs!
Angel and Dylan were amazing help! I called AutoZone in the morning and Angle gave me amazing advice about my car battery and information about the starter and said they coild test it for free and replace the battery for free and confirmed they had the battery in stock. When I got to the store Dylan was available to help and quickly checked my battery. Dylan and Angel helped me replaced the battery and they also checked a few other things! I have complete trust in their services! Everyone at the store are amazing and great service!! Thank you!!
Excellent service from Tyler the store manager. He went way beyond to ensure I got the right part and installed it himself to make sure it was correct. Highly recommend this auto ZONE. I’ve been waited on by a few different staff and they were all super nice and helpful!!
Battery went completely dead. Tyler was most helpful, so were Mike and Tony. I was back on the road in less than 25 minutes. Very grateful for their help so I was not stranded.
I was in there getting brake parts (Salem ma,canal st.,The manager Tyler was soooo helpful, he new exactly what I needed and helped me adjust a caliper,he went out of his way to help me and other customers in the store, he loves his job and it shows!!!!!!!!!

I came in today looking for some oil for my car, everyone was super helpful but Brendan (maybe Brandon sorry I don’t have the best memory) was suuuch a help. He offered to give me a hand with my oil when I made it clear im not very savvy with cars. He showed me where a lot of things were under my hood on my new car, and did so happily. Being a younger girl with no knowledge on cars it’s really intimidating going to shops, mechanics, etc alone, but he seemed happy to help and educate me. Truly thank you!
Whenever I came in i ended up with the help I needed. I needed to have my Rollator breaks modified (i had no wrench) and they fixed it for me. Highly appreciated also because it is a mobility device and it would’ve taken longer for me to fix it

Second time in a week I have been to this store. One was to have an EGR test on my car and just now for new wiper blades. Great service and the employees friendly and knowledgeable! Differently recommend this store and all Auto Zones!!

went in for wiper blades and brandon was fantastic. super nice and friendly. even offered to install them for me! i just got a new car last month and he seemed genuinely excited about it as well. this is the kind of customer service that makes repeat customers out of folks!
Stopped at the Autozone on Canal Street in Salem MA and thought I needed a new headlight. Tyler F. looked at the issue and offered to replace the bulb for me as that seemed to be the problem. We could not give Ezra W. a higher review. Our family was visiting and our car unexpectedly needed new low beam headlights. Little did we know that when the car was hit in a recent fender bender, the headlight caps were put back in the wrong orientation. Needless to say it was near impossible for us to figure it out, but Ezra provided his extensive expertise and went above and beyond to help us replace all of our bulbs. We appreciate his honest work and willingness to help up in our time of need!
