Alexander was excellent ! I have had a few good experiences with advanced auto parts over there competing stores locally. They have been very attentive and knowledgeable when helping me with my car. Their test engine indicator is very helpful for inspection. Most recently, however I had an extra special experience in that when most workers are on their phones or barely willing to help. You can tell they are just collecting their paycheck and standing at the register with dim eyes. But I met Alexander at advanced auto parts and he was alert and ready to go. He went out into the cold and help me diagnose a lingering problem with my truck. My truck being so old had a rusty bolt and he was able to take out the back tail light for me. He helped replace the bulb. It was a dual filament bulb, and while all of this sounds simple and no big deal I had gone through an hour of people trying to tell me that a dual filament bulb meant I had to buy two bulbs for the same socket, which is not sensible. And then they would shrug and say maybe try somewhere else? So they obviously just didn’t wanna do anything about it. Because with a little bit more close reading, you can see that it says that it’s not to Bob’s for one socket that you buy one Bob for your socket and you buy a Back up bulb with the purchase. It’s a set of two bulbs for your both of your back. Tail lights. And I tried to say I think it’s what it is and she said no no no it’s one Socket two bulbs. Anyway, I finally was able to run into Alexander at advanced auto parts in Woodlock. He provided the tools. He unbolted my vehicles, tail light, which was stuck old and rusty. He slid it out properly he replaced the one bulb necessarily, and then he had me test it. Since I was alone, it’s hard to see your back, tail light and step on the break at the same time so it was useful that he spent the extra time to linger when he had other customers waiting. He had me test the bulb and confirmed that the brake light and the Regular back tail light. Both filaments inside the same bulb. We’re working properly. Knowledge experience and eyewitness account of good professional workers at advanced auto parts. Escalates them to a higher standard than Some mechanic shops, and certainly, with Alexander there. They They are a better place.

i went into the store on monday night and the guy working was very rude on his personal phone ignoring the costumers , i walked out because the other associate was helping customers and i did not have time to sit around waiting for someone to come help . just extremely unprofessional and gave me a bad taste. don’t recommend coming to this location , go to a different one if u actually need help.

I went to advanced autozone last night to get an alternator for my car. I asked this girl for help finding this part for me. She went to the back and took forever. She came back and said she couldn’t find it. I told her I just spoke to someone on the phone and they said they had it in stock. She started getting loud with me telling me that they don’t have that part in stock. I asked if she could check again and she said no. She told me to go to autozone next store.

I went by advanced autozone to get my car checked out. I asked the associate named Courtney to help me scan my car. She had no idea what she was doing. I also asked her to help me put windshield wipers on. She said she didn’t know how to put them on. She had to call the other employee over to help when he was already helping other customers. I don’t understand how someone can work at advanced autozone without knowing ANYTHING about cars. Courtney was extremely rude and not helpful. Definitely not going to this location ever again. Very bad experience. I have always gone there and never had a problem til now. I don’t understand how she got a job there. Don’t recommend!!

Josh just helped me out. I haven’t been able to charge my phone in my car for a few weeks. I finally got around to checking the fuse and he pointed me in the right direction to changing it out. $7 fix. Thanks!

AN AUTO ZONE NOT A UPS ACCESS POINT. EVEN THOUGH IT SHOWS THE UPS ACESS POINT LOCATION INSIDE REPLY: no you are not located inside the advance auto . I went in and asked the sales associate and they said "there's no ups access point here and said this is advance auto... look up an ups not advance auto. Maybe inform your workers better on how to deal with your system (ups access) if there is such contract

The absolute AUDACITY of the lady who said she is the manager at this store! Picture this: you walk into the parts store with a fitting that you need to match up. You're the only customer in the store. Walk past two employees who completely ignore you. Okay, fine. Go to the fittings and spend time trying to find the right fitting. One of the employees walks by you in the aisle, buy still ignores you as you fail to find what you need. Aggravating, but not going to let it affect your mood. But then, as you go to leave the store, that same employee who didn't bother to do their job the whole time you were there, approaches you aggressively and ACCUSES YOU OF STEALING THE FITTING YOU BROUGHT WITH YOU. Rude, disrespectful and utterly terrible at her job.

I usually go to AutoZone but being next door I also come here and service is def great and workers seem pretty knowledgeable I'd say give them a try

I have been to this location several times and the employees have always been incredibly helpful. In particular, Jess and Jonathan went above and beyond for us our most recent visit. It isn’t the first time Jess has saved the day for us. You cannot beat the customer service here!

Nothing but positive stuff to say about Advanced auto so my engine light came on and Sergio and his team diagnosed and helped me solve the problem. They are extremely helpful, a service rep also put on my wipers for me too. Every time I’ve been to this location I am always satisfied so this is my new auto parts store . I highly recommend this store as they are organized and work as a team. Ty Sergio you guys are awesome!!

Prices r fair. Pretty clean store. Staff is pleasant. However i bought a fuel pump that was bad. Got another pump for an xtra $100.00 and its was bad too. Suppose to pump 62lbs an only pumping 9lbs. Returned that one also but not without some serious attitude for customer rep. No one cares that its costing me to have the job done over an over again. Mechanic don't care if the parts bad. Hes gonna get paid for his time regardless. RECAP 2/14\22 WENT TO ANOTHER AUTO PARTS STORE AND GOT ANOTHER FUEL PUMP AND MY TRUCK IS BACK ON THE ROAD.

Its amazing how you can have 3 Auto Part Supply Stores within a 1000 ft of each , 2 of them pretty much share the building they are in . With that said you would think that regardless of which one you go in they are all gonna have the same stuff same price especially etc. That couldn't be further from the truth. I purchased my power brake booster from Advance because for 1 they had it in stock, 2 it was cheaper than the other 2 and lastly the customer service was better .. keep up the great work guys

Had to buy wipers because mine gave out during the snow. My car was being very difficult to work with while changing the blades, but the staff at Advance Auto Parts were INCREDIBLY helpful, friendly, and proactive in solving my issue. I really cannot thank them enough. If you have any auto issues in the area, you MUST stop by their shop. The staff is all friendly and knowledgeable.

Made 2 very simple small orders this week in which they messed up both then when asked for a refund in store they couldn't even refund me the full amount for something I paid for and never received. Not a single person in that store knows what they are doing

These employees are clueless, lazy and can’t follow though simple transactions. If your looking to travel to THIS location for a in stock part, called to check it’s availably, go ahead and purchase it online then when you finally make it there your part will not be. Then after much wasted time for the same part to be transferred to a closer store near me I was promised that evening, only having to be told that the part never left this location.. only to have these people say tomorrow morning. SAVE YOUR TIME AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Bought a car battery online, just needed my ID to pick it up and get it installed(in the 90' heat). Only concern I had was I thought it was normal procedure to check alternator operation when installing a new battery since there is a warranty. I asked and the technician said it wasn't policy.

For the most part they are helpful. Unfortunately they have to use the computer for everything! If you come in with just a part from something that is not in the computer, say a camper, they look at you like you have ten heads. An automobile parts store should have knowledgable employees. You always have one guy that kind of knows but the other people not so much. I was told you can go in the back and look for yourself for my part because the guy couldn't find it. I didn't know I worked for advanced...

The staff is either illiterate or retarded because they misinformed me on the type of oil for my car, never gave me a reciept and wouldnt refund me without a receipt... save yourself the frustration and just drive down the st to lacavas

Cust service is not good, tried to buy parts online with a gift card, couldn't do it so I called the store to try and buy it in store with the 25 percent off that you get on line couldn't do it, I called the corporate office to see how I could still get the 25 percent off, they told me I would have to pay for it in full then they would cancel the gift card then refund my credit card.... what. I HAVE A GIFT CARD WHY CANT I USE IT. I buy alot of parts for personal use and for my store. I will not use advanced auto for any of it. There are plenty of parts stores out there the have the same prices and sales I assumed that they would want to keep there customers I was wrong. Ps. I bought a bunch of fluids and windshield wash with the gift card just to use it and I am buying my 400.00 worth of brake parts next door at auto zone.

Usually have the parts I need at a reasonable price using online order with coupon. Some of the parts are not of OEM quality but you get what you pay for & expect from a Chinese part.

Pretty much always have what u need. Unless it's a rare part your looking for, you order online and you have it in hand in 20 min. If not, usually you'll have it next day. Employees are cool and friendly, atmosphere is good.
