I went in looking at a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and walked out with a 2023 with less millage for a better deal . From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. I was treated with kindness and respect. Every single person at this dealership was a pleasure to work with.

Once again Empire has failed miserably. Lack of communication, lack of respect for a customer, and basic shabby service. My daughter bought her Tucson there two years ago and received the run-around when her manifold cracked. Finally after almost two months it was fixed. Next, or before actually, a “peeling paint issue”. Went there last August/September, photos taken, etc. To this day no information or repair despite her numerous calls. Now Monday 3/2/26, a water pump issue. Gets the car to Empire, sits and waits 2.5 hours only to be told, “it needs a water pump, we don’t have any in stock, it will take a few days to get one, the car is disassembled and can’t be driven.” She asked for a loaner - “ they don’t loan cars”. Basically said she was on her own. She called her employer who couldn’t pick her up until 5pm. She sat there almost 5 hours! You think they might have let her know earlier?? It was obvious it was the water pump. And really, none in stock?!? A basic part?? Today is Thursday, still no one has contacted her with a situation report. Inexcusable and reprehensible behavior for ANY business. Seems they’re holding the car “hostage” or just don’t give a damn about their customers. I see a BBB complaint in their future unless this fiasco can be explained and remedied…

I worked with Michelle and she was amazing. Buying a car is stressful but she helped make the process less intimidating. The other people on the floor all congratulated me on my new purchased and helped me set up all the tech in my new car. Thank you for helping me and my family find our new ride!

I bought a used 2019 Nissan Rouge Sport back with 19,004 miles in 2023 with Empire Hyundai. Always had issues with this car since I bought it, which caused it to end up being totaled from how much extra damage was underneath the car. This dealership sold me the car without disclosing that it had been in a previous accident before purchasing. Only found out when looking through the service history paperwork in my glove compartment. I would never recommend buying a used car from this dealership unless you’re fine with them not disclosing if the cars they sell have been in accidents before.

I recently purchased a vehicle with Tony Reis at Empire Hyundai and I could not say enough great things about the service. He took me in, expressed concern for my situation and got me into the vehicle I wanted with a payment I wanted. The transaction was smooth, fast and reliable. Everyone I encountered here was friendly and on top of their tasks! They stayed after hours and made sure everything was completed same day. I would come back as a repeat customer over and over again.

I met Gio and heard about the dealership from TikTok! I’m not easily persuaded but Gio answered all my questions honestly and made me feel like I was making the right choice trusting this dealership. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. I went in with a trade and came out with a better option for myself. I really appreciate the patience and time Gio took to help me out! I brought my 2015 Hyundai Sonata to Empire Hyundai after experiencing two serious brake failures. The brake pedal became hard, the vehicle took several seconds to stop, and I had to use the electronic parking brake to avoid a potential accident. This concern was clearly documented on my service invoice: “Customer stating brakes failed twice…” After agreeing to a $185 inspection charge, and after their inspection, I received a call from Aaron in service. Instead of addressing the brake assist system or explaining any diagnostic testing related to braking, I was told the issue was a leaking cam cap/plug and was presented with a $1,600+ repair estimate. I was told this engine component “regulates engine power” and may have been generating acceleration while I was braking. During that same call, I was immediately given two options: They offer payment plans for the repair, or He could connect me with someone in sales to work up a trade-in estimate. My concern at that moment was brake safety, not financing or trading in my vehicle. After declining the repair, I received a follow-up call from someone who initially did not clearly identify his role. When pressed, he said he was a “Sales and Service Specialist.” The conversation again focused on why I declined the repair and shifted toward sales. When I pointed out that my documented complaint involved brake failure, I was told he wasn’t aware braking issues had been mentioned, despite it being written on the invoice. I ultimately sought a second opinion from a trusted independent mechanic. The issue turned out to be unrelated to the cam plug entirely. It was a malfunctioning VVT solenoid that was affecting engine timing and likely causing intermittent vacuum issues, which in turn impacted brake assist. Once properly diagnosed, the explanation made sense. This was a serious safety concern. I expected a thorough brake system evaluation and clear diagnostic transparency. Instead, I was presented with a high-cost engine repair and a quick pivot toward financing or trading in the vehicle. I strongly believe they purposely present customers with older used vehicles with random high cost repairs to try to force them into just trading it in and get them over to the sales department. I would NEVER consider bringing my vehicle here or stepping into this building again for the rest of my life. The extra drive to Route 44 Hyundai is well worth it, in hindsight.

Recently purchased a used 2021 Suburban from Empire where two young men, Giovanni and Connor, were most helpful, reasonable and excellent to deal with. I came all the way from Southern NH (2 hours away) and it was definitely worth the trip. These young men are a great representation to their company and I feel would treat any customer fairly. I bought a used car from Empire 10/21. Im still chasing down money, nearly a month later, that they owe me for an overage I paid toward my prior auto loan. They acknowledge the overage, that I am owed it, but havent been straight with why they are choosing not to reimburse me and i just have to wait longer... even after their finance debt assured me that Empire is very good with reimbursements and handles them with priority. Took them 12 days to issue my registration because "the house" was busy with the trunk or treat event. Had to text and call constantly and threaten that I was going to report their mishandling before they finally gave me a dealer plate so I wouldn't be driving illegally. My car was leaking oil so I had to bring it back a few days after I brought it home. I emailed the GM with my concerns and he never replied.

This review is a little late considering we bought our car in August, and I don’t typically write reviews, but our experience with Empire Hyundai, and specifically our salesperson Sodiq was a truly great experience! From the moment we met him, he was professional, patient, and we could see that he was a genuine person. What stood out most was how he went above and beyond to make the deal work for us. He took time to explain everything clearly, never pressured us, and really worked hard to get us a fair price that fit our budget. It honestly felt like he was on our side the whole time. Thanks to his effort and kindness, we drove away in out new Palisade feeling confident and happy. We highly recommend working with Sodiq. Great job!

Do not buy from them. They posted an ad on Facebook for a new event called “Key for Key.” In the ad, it states that it’s $0 down. After they get you to apply for their financing, they then tell you that you need to have a down payment. Now i’ll be honest, my credit is bad. It is. However, knowing that, and knowing that this dealership scams people, I told them that up front. They have you do their financing and after they pull your credit, tell you they require X amount down. I have had issues with them in the past but decided to give them another chance for this new event. Do not get tricked into this.

Giovanni, my sales rep went far and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and got what I desired. Other staff, including Sodiq were very instrumental in ensuring that I had a nice experience. The icing on the cake was when they drove about 35miles to deliver my car at my house.

BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase a car here you can forget any follow up. I purchased a new vehicle on 8/11/25. Once I left the dealership with the car I could get absolutely no satisfaction from them. I was told mats came with the vehicle. When I called to inquire about the mats my salesperson advised he never said that but, if I wrote a 5 star review, they would give me mats. I bought my own. My prior car loan wasn’t paid off until over a month later causing a 30 day late payment on my credit. I finally got through to someone who said they told me they have 30 days to payoff my loan. I was never told that. He also said he would call me back the same day but never did. I would not recommend anyone purchase a car here!

So back in 2021 I decided to go out and purchase a car and didn’t have the greatest credit. I heard an advertisement on the radio about Empire Hyundai in Fall River. So I stopped by the dealership and had met a salesman named Brandon and he assured me that he could definitely get me into brand new car even knowing I am not the most patient person in the world. All said and done Brandon was an excellent salesman and definitely got the job done. Highly recommend. Now 4 years later now on Memorial Day weekend I stopped by to check out the deals and met with a new salesman at the time named Salim. As I walked into the dealership he welcomed me to the dealership and was ready to assist me with my next purchase. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he showed a couple SUVS and then we looked at the new vehicles and found the 2025 Tucson that caught my eye and I liked it. So we sat to talk numbers and me being me a short patient person I started to give up and was getting ready to leave and I really wasn’t given Salim a fare chance to do what he had to do and I was headed to my car to leave. He ran out to my car to stop me and said he will do everything he could to put me into the new Tucson. So I went back the next day because it was already late in the day and sure enough he did everything to make this sale happen. All I can say is Salim is a great salesman. We were talking about music and I had mentioned / surprised him when I told him one of my favorite songs was All Eyes on me. This guy will give the song a new name it should be call ALL EYES On SALIM because he is on his way of being an excellent salesman. Thanks again to Empire Hyundai of Fall River Ma

Updated Review: I considered removing this review, but I won’t. Instead, I’ll change it to 1 star because this is all this dealership deserves. Not only were we promised delivery a day prior, that did not take place, we were promised a big red bow to commemorate my daughter’s first car. A bow is $9.99 on Amazon. If they had told me they didn’t have a bow, I would have purchased one myself. While it may seem like a first world problem — boohoo, my car was delivered late and without a bow, it is not when empty promises are made just to make the sale. Not to mention the fact that a person only gets one first car. I woke up this morning thinking today was the perfect day to make the delivery as it is the 12 year anniversary of her dad’s passing due to cancer. I thought surely there must be some significance to delivery being pushed off til today. Nope. We remain disappointed. Personally, I feel the lack of customer service at this car dealership speaks volumes about how they treat their customers once the sale is made. In addition, the sales person waited for another staff member to drive him back to the dealership only to arrive 2 hours later than planned without a ride. Lastly, I will say that during the sale process the sales person came back with a price on the lease that was higher than we had originally discussed. I asked him if he could run the numbers to show what it would cost me to finance the vehicle. He then went back to the finance dept to let me know that they like repeat business and instead of showing me the numbers for financing, he lowered the monthly payment on the lease. Honestly, in looking at the numbers, it seems I may have been better off financing the vehicle, but they didn’t give me that option. Instead they pushed a lease on me and I trusted them. Oh, I forgot to mention that they also delivered a car to me that has not been inspected. They had 2 full days to get this thing inspected and instead provided me with a voucher to do it on my own. Anyway, here’s my advice — stay away from this dealership. Original review written while still on site at the dealership - I popped into Empire Hyundai today to look at cars for my teenage daughter and ended up leaving a2 hours later with a great deal on a brand new Venue lease. I want to personally thank Leslie Bowen and his sales staff, including Henry, the sales manager. They kept to their word and were able to get us the price we had in mind with very little back and forth. Brandon, finance manager was also great. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Empire!!

Spoke to a woman on the phone after receiving one of their scammy "winning" vouchers in the mail. She was incredibly rude!! If they're that rude on the phone I wouldn't entertain buying a car from them. Trying to get customers in the door by lying about winning $25,000. Bad business. All car salesmen are liars, but not all are rude about it. REMEMBER IF SOMEONE IS TRYING TO SELL YOU A CAR THEY'RE GOING TO SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO HEAR. DON'T BELIEVE IT. QUESTION EVERYTHING THEY SAY!!
