I would give 0 stars. This place will tow your car even if it has a parking sticker for the community in which you live. Very sketchy practice and very sketchy people. Top of the hill apartment complex needs to contact with a more reputable company.
This a predatory towing company. DO NOT USE. They are contracted by the PG county government if you can avoid please do. My car was stolen in DC and found in MD I had to pick it up in MD at this towing location. We paid them to tow our car to the dealership on Saturday. They did not tow our car on Saturday, still charged us for towing, and an additional fee for towing on the next Monday. They told us that they did not tow our car on Saturday because the "dealership does not accept cars over the weekend." We found out they never spoke to the dealership and this was not true. They refused to tow after we had paid them and had an appointment and confirmation from the dealership to drop it off. We were already dealing with our car being stolen and then had to deal with this predatory business. Avoid at all cost!!! They are trying to make extra money off of victims of auto theft. Terrible!
Told me they didn’t have my car when they had my car this whole time so now have to pay almost $3,000 because I couldn’t find my car. Fail on their part !
The guy that towed my vehicle was very nice and helpful he explained what was needed to get my vehicle back and provided driving directions on how to find the company location. This became important when we later called and was told the vehicle wasn't there. Thinking maybe the company had two locations we decided to drive to where he said. The lady remembered speaking to us and as she was telling us she had no record of my vehicle my son pointed it out in the back. She was apologetic and explained she has no record of it being there. She called the guy that towed it and it was determined that the lady on shift in front of her hadn't processed the paperwork correctly. She contacted her to find out paperwork hadn't been done correctly or completely. Once that was clear she quickly completed the paperwork so I could get my vehicle. The 2 people we came in contact with provided excellent service; however, the stress and worry of thinking my car had been stolen because of the person I didn't meet tarnished my ability to provide a higher rating.
This place is terrible! My car was stolen and later abandoned on the side of the road. It was towed by Metropolitan Towing to their lot. The desk clerk couldn’t have been any more unprofessional. I stated that my insurance company would be picking up the car and she tried to intimidate me into paying her $400+ dollars, stating that my insurance would not come and get the car. (My insurance company came & got the car) Also, they stole the BMW emblem off the back of my car as well as the rear view mirror, all so they could turn around and resell it. I feel like I was victimized twice having to deal with these thieves! If I could give 0 stars- I would. Do NOT use this place. RUN!!
