I walked in and was immediately helped by an associate. I was looking for a rear windshield wiper. The associate's name is Shedale. Shedale helped me from start to finish. She came outside to my jeep and installed the wiper and used her mechanic skills to make it work. She also showed me how to refill my wiper fluid. I really appreciate her kindness and her going above and beyond.
Excellent work by Bryan at the Autozone in Bowie. Informed him the parts i needed which was rotors and brake pads and he got them in less than 3 minutes. Please recognize him and his peers at this location.
There is an female employee who addressed me as "Mami".... she is rude and lazy and very unhelpful. I couldn't find what I needed and left, and will spend my money elsewhere. Somewhere where customer service is given. That senora has ZERO customer service skill.
A friend of mine had an emergency where her car would not start and she was at another auto store in the area. The person at that store told my friend that they could give her a hotshot, but they could not install a battery until the next day. I called this store and I spoke with Xavier and he was very pleasant and he told me if she could make it to him he would put the battery in her car. He said he couldn't see a female stuck knowing she needed help. Thank you Xavier for being so courteous and going beyond to help!
Stopped in to get a free battery check, customer service was excellent!!! Helpful staff informed me my battery was low and not keeping a charge. They helped me find my battery location in my vehicle, as it was not located under my hood. They recommended a replacement that fit my make and model. I was in and out with a new battery, with the recycle battery rebate in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend this location and I will be using them for all my car parts and accessory needs.
Very bad experience. Walked in store, lady was either on the phone or was watching a TV show on her cellphone. It was on speaker with volume at capacity. Once I was finally greeted after her show went to commercial, I proceeded to give her my vehicle info & she puts her hands up to tell me to "Calm down" I'm guessing she meant to ask if I could Slow Down, if I provided info too quickly for her. Her tone was off, not customer friendly. Staff should be retrained, if trained at all.
Came into store and of the 3 customer associates behind the counter, no one asked me if I wanted or needed help. It’s unfortunate because there was no other customers in the store. I had no clue where to find what I thought I needed but, they wouldn’t know because they didn’t care to inquire. When I went to register, I expressed my disappointment. And they still didn’t offer to help.
I’ve gone to almost 3 different autozones trying to get my battery replaced. Each location told me a different reason why my car was acting the way it was acting. After explaining myself to this Autozone, I was highly frustrated and upset. They looked past all of that and still helped me with replacing my battery. I will be coming to this Autozone from now on, I can tell the managers here care about their staff, everyone here shows team leadership. They also showed me how to replace a battery (but I won’t ever try myself.) 10/10.

She should be a mechanic. She took care of my vehicle like no other auto zone member did. Her enthusiasm in everything she did (check engine light, estimate on parts for all items coded, change battery and terminal, and other miscellaneous purchases. Absolutely fantastic.
My battery started giving me trouble this morning. I got to AutoZone this afternoon and worked with Cameron. He was great! He identified the battery I needed, gave me pricing options and installed the battery for me. He was very personable and chatted with me during the installation. He also described the free services they offer. The entire process from battery identification, ring up, and installation probably took less than 20 minutes.
Our service rep Jerry was incredibly good, made sure to check we had the right parts and took time to ensure we got the right service. Extremely good customer service - he went above and beyond in even helping us load the heavy items in the car without us asking. Thank you!
Jerry is an angel. There was a sweet couple in the parking lot who couldn’t get their car alarm to stop going off. I went over to help and Jerry stayed outside and assisted for probably 30 minutes. Auto Zone employees don’t have to go that far to try and help. He did it from the kindness of his heart. What a cool experience. ?
I had the most pleasant experience I have ever had at an auto parts store today with the store Manager and Marie and Alice as well.They were so customer satisfaction oriented and knowable as well as professional that it just blew me away handling every issue that I threw at them.I was so pleased with everything and so engulfed to get out to my car and tell the fellas that I forgot my credit card in the machine and drove away.. It was nice to see they where still up to they're standards as they kept it for me for me after I had been gone half the day.So high five to ya ladies and staff as your works should not go unrecognized especially in this to often world of sub par customer satisfaction.
Kudos to the store manager, Marie, today. She showed knowledge, professionalism and genuine care for me as I struggled to find the proper wipers for my Prius. She even put them on for me as she danced between me and other customers needing assistance. On such a terribly hot day, her extra kindness was extraordinary. Six stars if there were that many!
Staff was super friendly, they eased my anxiety of looking for items throughout the store. Everybody was super easygoing and kind, and I’ll only be coming to this location for now on. Special shout-out to the gentleman (can’t remember his name and isn’t on the receipt) who helped me pick out headlight bulbs and compared each kind of bulb to Kobe, Lebron, or KD. I’ll never forget that lol.
A+ customer service. Mr. Craig S.* Was kind enough to recommend a set of wiper Slade in combination with the Rain-X spray to accomplish my objective, as opposed to just suggesting the Rain-X wipers, which I appreciate. He was in also kind enough to install the wipers while also showing me how to do it, so I can manage it in the future. Absolutely recommend this store, we'll come back for sure.

I bought brakes and rotors online but the rear brakes did not fit. I took the rear brake pad to have them exchanged for the correct ones. Both the manager and the clerk patiently listened to my problem and helped me as best as they could. They offered advice and explained that I could return the product for a full refund if needed. I will return to Auto Zone in Bowie for my auto needs.
I travel from NW Washington DC for the customer service at this location! As a women in an auto store it can be challenging when you are not sure what you need. The staff are helpful and patient and service is always done with a smile! Craig and Dominic are the absolute BEST!
Store Manager, Marie and Team Member Jason went above and beyond today helping me locate and purchase parts for my vehicle! They were professional, attentive and knowledgable searching parts databases, calling other locations and even reaching out to the help dept when my coupon didn't work. Jordan was extremely rude and unhelpful when asking questions. He rolled his eyes and sighed many times and was very misinformed about batteries and cars in general. I watched another staff member install the bracket on top of my battery backwards, I watched and waited for him to notice the obvious. After putting all the hardware back and the last piece wouldn’t fit and watching him fool around with it I said something since he did not recognize the error. He was nice but took a long time and also did it wrong. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
I was assisted by Brandon on yesterday 10 30 2019. He has phenomenal customer service qualities. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and gave me a crash course on changing my rear turn signal lights for my vehicle. It was rainy and wet, yet he did not let a little liquid sunshine stop him from going above and beyond. I am truly grateful for his assistance. I am so glad I stopped by this particular location, versus going to a competitor or a dealership that would've charged me for parts AND labor totaling over $100. I was able to get the lights exchanged for a fraction of the price, only paying for the parts and I am so grateful. Thanks Brandon... you are such a gentleman!
Got a battery test done, but my car was still dead. The store manager, Clayton, tried to give me a jump with a battery and his car, but to no avail. He then helped push my car to a parking spot out of the way while I waited for help. Clayton and his employees were great help.
Employees were awesome. At 9pm my wife’s battery died in her minivan and not only did they have the replacement, but they changed the battery and wipers within 20 min. Very professional and very reasonable prices.
