Seriously, testing the battery should be a standard when giving people new batteries. The incompetence and inconvenience is astounding.

I came here because my headlights were out. I arrived at their time of closing. I told them that I had a long cross state drive ahead of me and to please help me even though they were closed. They understood my situation. The manager and associate helped me. They installed my headlight.
On a related note, after they helped install my high beam headlight, we found out that it was actually my low beam headlight that was out. It was my mistake because I told them that. They still helped me uninstall my high beam headlight and install my low beam headlight even though they were closed.
I didn’t catch the name of the manager and the associate. The manager was very professional. She installed the high beam headlights for me. The associate was very professional as well. He exchange the low beam and high beam for me. They were both very courteous and resolved my issue, even though they were closed.

I want to give a major shoutout to Luis who helped me today with my battery replacement. From the moment I called this morning, who showing nothing but top tier customer service and was even more amazing once I came into the store for the battery replacement. He is so kind, warm, and knowledgeable!
Had a coil pack fall while heading back home to central VA from DC. It was ten minutes before closing and GPS said I was 8 minutes away. I called ahead and they said they had them in stock but they close in ten minutes. I explained the situation and that I was heading to them. When I got there the door was locked but they were looking for me. They had the part already pulled and held off on shutting the systems down for the day just for me. I was able to quickly switch the pack out. Thank you guys so much. We (myself, my fiance and a herd of twenty sheep and goats) would have been stranded there in the parking lot until the next morning with nowhere to go or stay.
My battery was completely dead and stuck in the parking lot by the store. Thankfully, Alvin was able to replace it with a new one free of charge. He was very helpful and professional. If you need a new battery, this is the place to go.

This place was great. We were on the way to the beach when we realized we had a dead battery for our camper. It was 8:45pm. We stopped by this AAP and they recharged our battery to full even 20 minutes past closing time. The staff was exceptional and understanding. With this kindness, they have earned my business for any vehicle needs, even though it is further out from my place than other places. Highly recommended. Most pathetic service IN MY LIFE!
I had a dead battery and came here. I went in and waited because there was one person ahead of me-fine. There was another guy in the back that could've helped, but wasn't an issue.
Finally I was next. The associate told me to pull the car to the front and wait for him. He was going to help the next two people in line-at this point I'm starting to wonder if the guy in the back can help.
As I'm going to pull the car up i walk by another associate coming in to the store. I pull the car up and wait about 10 minutes. Then the guy walks up and tells me they don't have enough associates to help, so noone can go outside to help.
While the associate was nice enough to jump my car, and I came home to AAA changing the battery, this is unreal. And to top it off, their signage on the windows screams "free battery change and free battery testing".
I'm not going to take this any further, and at the same time I'll never shop here again. I can't count on this place and don't think you should either.
Ordered online when Wilmington parts store didn't have a rare headlamp bulb for the 2007 DTS. Nicholson Lane had it in stock, easy pickup. Five stars for the staff! Even friendly, A wonderful plus for a local business! Highly recommend 👌
I came in at 10:00 am on a Wednesday. There was one other customer in the store and at least 3 employees. I needed codes read so I could buy a replacement part. They refused and said more employees. I offered to borrow it and read my own codes and he said “no, they get stolen too often”. Then I offered to put a collateral to borrow a code reader and the employee told me that only managers can unlock the code readers and there wouldn’t be a manager there for several hours. Guess I’m headed to auto zone. Disappointing service.
My car didn’t start, so I went to this store. Kenneth treated me very well and did a free battery test as soon as possible and said the battery was fine and did not need to be replaced. I can trust them now and I think trust is the first word for a deal. I will definitely visit this store in the future.
Asked the manager to see if he would help me put on my license plate covers since they were bolted on. Did not help whatsoever and told me to go to Jiffy Lube(which I did not because I wasn't going to go pay someone to take off the bolts so I could put on my license plates. The last time I went to this establishment was in Michigan and they were very helpful. Sad to say it about this place since I usually have very good luck but if this keeps happening, I won't be returning.
I had a great experience today when I tried to buy a new rear wiper blade for my car. I was not sure if I was purchasing the right one and asked the young cashier. He looked up the right one for my car and found me the correct one. I paid for it and went to change it myself and did not know how to do it right. I walked back in the store for help and the young guy for guidance. He was helping another customer and Omar was available so he asked him to assist me. He came out of the store to my car and replaced it in a matter of minutes. I really appreciated the help and awesome customer service from both men. Omar refused the tip I tried to give him, so I wanted everyone know the great service I received at this location. Thank you!

Nathan the manager of this place is a rude and spoiled person , zero customer service.
I buy some Frebreze air car products at 4.99 wich is what indicated on the shelf but they charge me 6.29.
I tell them that the price on the shelf is 4.99 and he tells me that the price is wrong and he changes it in front of me and tells me that if I ant it ican take it for what it cost now . I told him to give back three diferent because I wanted the product and he did not want it. Either you pay the price or youreturn it .
Never back to this store and I recommend asking for the prices before paying because they charge more there
Staff member told me the wrong part for my car. I came back to exchange it and they then told me it's my fault for not knowing what I was looking for. What a joke. Why would I ask for help if I knew what I needed? Then says they won't help me find a match. I got mad told the staff member to get better at their job and left. I know I shouldn't have been rude but I don't understand why I couldn't be given help.

I ordered an engine for my truck on 11/9. It was supposed to be there on 11/25 but it didn't arrive until 12/5. Be prepared for inexperienced service & increased prices.
For the most part service is good, I would give a rate of 2.5 over 5, most of the staff members I have dealt with are very polite, helpful and honest about their knowledge.
I visit this store very often so I have also witness different interactions, like mention before, most of the staff is amazing, except for the one who claims is the "manager" of the store I think his name is Jose Luis, large person with a long beard, he is very abrasive, rude and not helpful at all, I would recommend if the company can send him on a training on customer service or something like that. Many times I have witness his "customer service" in play against other customers and make simple situations even worse and very frustrating for everyone involved.
Besides all that the store and other staff are great on what they do!!!
Find out what's on sale before your visit or order online with in-store pick up for the most savings. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out quickly. The staff is helpful and respectful of your time. You might not see someone standing at the register, but when they notice you are ready to check out there will be someone there to check you out immediately. I go often.
The team at this store most always provide attentive service and expertise and sometimes against seemingly insurmountable odds. There are signs all over the front windows offering free battery checks, wiper blade installations, engine light checks, etc. and many customers take advantage of (sometimes demand) these generous offers putting immense pressure on the clerks especially when only one or two people are staffing the store. In all of the years that I have gone here, despite that pressure, I have been treated with respect by professional and considerate staff. Frankly, I don't know how they manage but I love my brick and mortar Advance and the folks who work there. You are appreciated.
