I'm always in the market for used DVDs and blu ray. Checked out this place today and could not believe the used DVDs were $4.00 when they are $2.00 or less at Goodwill and other thrift stores. $4.00 for used blu ray, yes I can see that, but DVD? No. Especially not when you got them in donations.

Great selection but you really have to look, its always disappointing when you find something you like but find out its marked above retail price. I refuse to buy something used for more money than i can buy it new which forces me to leave it there. Some things still have the original tags with a cheaper price so be careful, but if you look and take your time you can find a good deal. They have lots of womens clothing but you have to try it on in the aisle. I usally wear tight fitting clothing so i can try things on, its a little awkward but they dont let you return things only same day exchanges up to 14 days so definitely a necessity. Buy with caution Update: went there recently and saw they are selling something they got for free for over $700, I'm sure the person who donated it was hoping someone in need would be able to use this scooter. Very greedy

I drove 30 minutes to get there. It was crawling with people. I started at glassware and dishes. Found an old green glass etched pitcher with a huge chunk broken off of the base and it was priced at $7. Hard pass. I'll spare the details but mostly what I found is that it's fully stocked, however it's mostly run of the mill Walmart, Old Navy, and Kohl's type stuff with a lot of wear and damage for $8 to $15 per garment. Dresses and coats were priced even higher. No selection of good furniture or lighting, a lot of it was broken, or missing parts. Absolutely zero selection of vintage. The jewelry seemed to be all mass produced costume replicas made of plastic and base metal. I probably won't make the trip there anymore.

I always find great deals. One persons trash is another person’s treasure is true. I found kitchen chairs for $7 each that are worth $145 each if purchased new. I cleaned them up and painted them. They look just like new. I have to also mention the customer service and staff were wonderful.

This is one of the best thrift stores in Baltimore county if you’re looking for quality children’s, women’s or men’s clothing. The shoe selection is pretty awesome too

This is a great place to donate used items. The workers are friendly and helpful.

Since covid, their "thrift" prices are the same or, if not higher than retail. I have actually seen items with the retail store price sticker on it, and Savers price sticker was higher. I do like their sale day. The bathroom is disgusting. The ladies behind the glass counter are very nice & helpful. They always have at least 4 registers open, which is nice. There is one particular guy who worked at the registers the last time I was there who was exceptionally nice & helpful. I do see a lot of "resellers," which, I guess, if that's your thing. Some of us just want nice things for our house, kids, clothes etc. I get eye rolls if I'm looking at something nice. They definitely need more handicap parking. All in all, it's not a bad store. I've seen way worse & have seen way better. Always room for improvement. Prices are NOT thrift store (non-profit, hah).

This is my favorite thrift store. They sell QUALITY used items. This is one of those stores I can’t spend too much time in or I’ll spend all my money!!! Love it !!!

This is one of my Fav Thrift Shops . It’s also one of my favs to donate , the process is seamless . I’ve picked up a lot of Great Woman & Mens clothes along with Vintage Home goods . It’s the perfect place to meet up with Friends , Family who love to shop .

It was my first time there. And the people was very nice and I will go back. I love this store

It's a great place to drop off, but the thrifting is just ok. Very picked over for most sections and some prices are more than what the item sold for originally (especially plastics, glass wear)

I love the layout, items, and staff at the store, but their prices are getting ridiculous. Today men’s T-shirts were $7.50. Half of them were promo shirts with QR codes on them... I was doing back to school shopping and -can get clothes cheaper at Old Navy. Prices across the whole store have risen. I used to love this store, but I’m not excited to go there anymore. Also - I understand that shelves have to be shifted out seasonally but watching some of the staff literally throw items into the bins breaking them makes me not want to donate.

Lots of great stuff. Today I set out to find a specific item and I found exactly what I was looking for, plus some other things. The store is huge and well stocked, plenty to sort through. Well staffed in all areas of the store. The checkout attendant was really helpful and attentive.

I just moved into my first apartment in a long time and I’ve been on the hunt for nice and affordable furniture. I popped my head into the Savers in Parkville and found a beautiful coffee colored brown wooden dinette table. It was sturdy and barely had any scratches and was 30.99. What an awesome find as I was trying to find something aesthetically pleasing to the color schemes in my new home and stay within budget! Not only am I taking the time to shoutout this location, but in also shouting out an outstanding employee who helped me from the time I walked into the store, until I pulled off the parking lot. Mr. Frank Harris patiently waited on me to finish shopping and then he kindly disassembled my table and helped me put it inside of my truck. It was such a selfless act that I’m not used to experiencing at thrift stores & more employees should model themselves after Mr. Frank. He did not know this, but I really needed kindness and compassionate customer service & he delivered both so naturally that I’m confident this is just his nature overall as a person. Please keep gems like him on your team as he will continue to be a great representation of your establishment. Thank you Frank H. I will come back again to see if I can luck up on some chairs or barstools for my table. :)

I've been going to Savers for many, many years, but it seems that after Covid they really hiked up the prices and it's just getting worse. In fact, many things cost the same amount or more than if I bought them new at Walmart, Five Below, etc. There was a pair of sneakers there for $16. I checked online, and they sell them at Walmart for $11. Bowls for $3 each are $1.49 at Walmart. A few ounces of yarn for $6??? Their books are insanely priced too. For example, one small kids book was $6.49. Really?! Also, a lot of stuff is literally trash. They had stained, old Tupperware containers, kids half-finished art projects in the art section, mostly used-up candles, and so much more junk. So much of it I wouldn't even take if it was free. We were there for two hours, and I did find some items that I felt were a good deal, but for the most part, it's just not worth it anymore. There are far better thrift shops, such as 2nd Avenue Thrift in Columbia.

I used to love this place, but have come to be very disappointed. The prices are unbelievably high, I did not find anything I wanted to purchase under $10, which is insane for items they got for free. Dirty. I have found underwear with literal poop smeared inside priced to be sold. I also had a terrible interaction with an employee in which she spoke to me very rudely and tried to make me feel dumb for not knowing about a new policy. Bathrooms are locked and finding an employee that is willing to help is near impossible. Despite this, once you get in they are absolutely disgusting and no toilet paper- even with the lack of people coming in. Overall bad experience and I would not recommend coming here. The only good thing about this store is the amount of items they have.

Savers is amazing wide variety great rates and awesome staff. I’m disabled and use a service dog. Sterling(savers staff) helped me at check out and was able to assist me with my cart. He went out of his way to assist me and was kind friendly and knowledgeable! Will return for sure.

Hey… I love this store and the staff… The men and ladies who work the cash registers are always amazing…. This one young lady named Alyanna is always respectful and super nice.. if you ever have any questions.. seek the pretty lady at the front with long black hair.. she’s The best and will always take the best care of you

I love this store. Have had great luck here and the staff is awesome. There have been a few bloopers here and there, but... this is a thrift store, folks! The staff always finds a way to work with you. It's a pleasure! (Minus 1-star for the bloopers... needed to be a little more careful with some things put on the floor.) Make sure to always check all zippers, buttons, tops & bottoms of items. My big blooper was on top of something tall. ;-)

Went on a Thursday seen 2 grown men and one female standing by the door where the workers were pushing out the carts filled merchandise to be put on shelves and witnessed all 3 people run towards the carts each and every time they were pushed out and grab things before they were able to be put on display. I was in the store about a hour and I didn't see those 3 leave that area , they would bum rush the carts like they was giving out free items ! Not fair to other shoppers. I'm sure they were resellers and was grabbing things they could flip but to witness this going on at a thrift store was uncalled for , no one should be allowed to pull stuff off of the carts ! These 3 particular people didn't waited in the same spot for over a hour waiting for carts to be pushed out , it was like a scene from the early days of black Friday shopping I have never witnessed anything low life like that before

Really wanted to like this place as they had some cool finds! I went yesterday to rack up on winter stuff for my 6 kids and I. Only self checkout was open so I rung up $300 worth of stuff on my own. When it was time to pay I realized I had left my wallet at home and they didn’t take Apple Pay, the woman working there kindly told me they’d hold my cart for me until today and I said great I’ll be here tomorrow! Me and the kids were relieved because they found some cool toys too. This morning I called to let them know what time I’m coming, and the guy on the phone said great, it’ll be here, I see your cart and I’ll let everyone know. Half an hour later I get a phone call that they won’t hold my items and are putting it back on the floor no real reason. I even stated wow that seems more work for you all to have to put everything back on hangers and on the floor rather than wait an hour for me to pick up. The woman on the phone didn’t really care or try to work with me. I’ve worked as a manager in customer service over 10 years and I can’t believe how unprofessional this establishment is. I’m a long time customer with rewards and often bring items to donate so this really put a bad taste in my mouth. Conflicting information then rather than accept that the customer is always right in this case they threw away $300, future business and donations. I wonder how corporate would feel about that.

Bro this place is actually amazing no joke all the outfits I got here ate and left no crumbs. It’s cheap, and very confusing on labels but that adds to the fun as it makes it more like a treasure hunt. You never know what your gonna get just like for rust Gump saided. I got a gambeoy here for cheap! And cloathes. Tbh great employees very nice and kind and helpful. I only shop here no where else I’m not kidding

I love this store, but the bathroom is something that needs to be addressed . It’s disgusting! No toilet paper or soap. The toilets are filthy. This isn’t just a one time thing, this is the 3rd time I’ve encountered this. I hope it’s addressed soon. Returned 6/7/23 and it’s worse than last time. It’s urine all on the floor. It’s so bad and something needs to be done.

I often go to donate my clients items to different donation locations in Baltimore County. I’m a professional organizer! Recently on my donation run to this Savers I was greeted with helpful hands and smiling faces. On my return the next day to donate items I was greeted with different helpers that were just as friendly and kind. I also lifted one of my boxes to donate and on doing that another box fell from my car, crashed onto the ground breaking and leaving a lot of glass behind! Marco cleaned up my mess with a kind heart and was a Rockstar! Thanks for hiring caring, thoughtful workers!

They’ve got so much stuff you are sure to find something you want here. The only thing is sometimes the prices of clothing items are pretty high! I found 3 brand new binders for a dollar or less, and I consistently find clothing items that are NWOT and even NWT!

On average it’s maybe a 1.5 star but most things are overpriced for donated items and some are close to retail or more for used items. Certain furniture items have been here months since they are too damaged to sell. They also just put up a giant banner between the registers and display cases and you have to wait a long time to see anything behind the counter since no one can see you.

This is a wonderful second hand store. A bit pricey tho. You can still find deals and sales at times and it's still cheaper than retail price. The store is very clean and well organized. Certain staff can use customer service/courtesy training because that alone can bring down store ratings but over all its a great place to shop. Don't forget to bring your own bags for checkout. But if you do they sell the cloth type ones for $1. Its a pretty nice big size.
