I will never do business at this BW location ever again. Manager basically called my wife a liar and failed to do anything about a battery that was failing after just 10 days. Tried to say my alternator was going bad after only 54k miles. Avoid this place for your battery needs at all costs!
Very customer service oriented I was charged $3 to install key fob batteries but I did not have them installed. I tipped (tip jar on counter) for installing a watch battery. The $3 charge was not noticed until later.
No problem with the store or the employees, but the batteries are not reliable or durable as other brands, and I've had many. Rarely last the warranty period and never much over. Other problem is the warranty is apparently worthless. I'm told if you don't physically have the receipt, even with a failed battery date stamped showing almost half the warranty period remains, you are out of luck. I already switched my vehicles to a different brand.
Had a wonderful in-store experience with Frank on 7/31 and was convinced to buy a refurbished interstate battery, with a verbal guarantee of it lasting “at least a year,” and if I had any problems, to just come and stop by. Was so pleased I even recommended them to friends and family! Well here I am 50 days later with a shot battery, and the in-store associate (did not catch a name, but unfortunately it wasn’t Frank) saying there’s absolutely nothing they can do. I was offered NO solutions, suggestions, or anything. I should have just spent my money elsewhere with a business that’s willing to stand by their product, or at least be willing to discount a replacement. Would not recommend spending your money here. Still stand by Frank and him being a kind human being though.
I was a little nervous to change the batteries in a Volvo's key fob after reading an article saying if you screwed it up you could fry the [one and only] key. I stopped into Battery Warehouse and the gentleman who helped me couldn't have been kinder. He assured me it was perfectly safe. He opened the key fob, found the replacement batteries and tested the one that were in there. Great service, knowledgeable proprietors, tons of batteries in stock - what more could you want? 100% great experience.

I went there last week with two special alarm batteries. One was dead, and a new one I thought was dead. He tested them, said the new one was good and I didn't need another. His honesty cost him a sale. But now has a lifelong customer.
I read the other reviews. Yeah, it's like you are in your uncle's garage. Kinda comforting, but I'm a guy who can change my car's motor oil. It is a 'battery warehouse'. There is a 'room freshening candle' burning in there. They treat you like an old family member, if you can't handle the smell of the candle or people being friendly then don't go there.
While there there was a steady slew of people from every walk of life, let's face it we all need batteries at some point or another. And what ever you knew about batteries, you will know more when you leave.
Great store - excellent customer service!! Was extremely pleasant when I called and even more pleasant when I arrived. Frank helped me without pause. I appreciate small businesses that still operate on integrity, helpfulness, and just overall GOOD BUSINESS!!! Please try them first before chain stores!
I had another post up but my wife made me remove t but the older guy that works at the Parkville location is the most hateful person I have ever delt with he disrespected me in front of my 5 year old daughter over a battery. This guy should not be working in service departments and yes I think he's is a racist person deep rooted!!
Excellent service and very affordable. Yeah it smells like cigarettes inside, but think of it this way. It’s like you went to that one uncles house. Yeah he’s a cigarette smoker but, every time you need him to put wipers on your car, change out a bulb, battery or filter, you stand by him and listen to his stories while he fixes it for you. Your uncle probably does it for free and the guys at Battery Warehouse practically do as well. I had a new battery for less than 200$ with install and a tutorial for my air filter included. Thanks Frank !!!
I have to give it a one this time because the last two times within 3 weeks I went there and this small store was so filled with cigarette smoke that I could not breathe. They should do better knowing they have non-smoking customers coming there and asthmatics and other people who have breathing issues. I won't be going there again. I try to visit the brick and mortar shops more often but this is a prime reason for doing my buying online.
Amazing service. The two wonderful gentlemen diagnosed the problem with my daughter's car and stood out in the cold to create a temporary fix until we can order the right part. All this at no charge...pardon the pun 😆
Super quick and such great customer service! I was told by Advance Auto that they couldn't install a battery for me because my car was complicated and it was a 30 min + job. Battery Warehouse installed it for me in under 10 minutes and was extremely affordable.
Prices aren't great but they do have inventory of commonly needed batteries so if you are in a jam, you can probably get what you need. That said, if you purchase the wrong item by accident, you will pay a restocking fee when you return it. Not a great policy for anyone looking to purchase a large volume of batteries. Staff was easy to work with.
Great place with great service for finding many types of batteries. I'd been hunting for a keychain flashlight battery, didn't have an old one to compare, looked many online stores with no luck. Battery Warehouse was the best place to go!

I have been there only a few times and each time I was helped quickly. Each visit was handled by a different employee. All were very knowledgeable. My needs were not anything difficult or unusual but I was treated in a friendly, professional manner. This will be my first choice for service.
Purchased a battery this afternoon. When I got the battery home I discovered it was the wrong size. Took the battery back and asked for consideration for my expenses to return the incorrect battery. I was told by the manager that I should have checked the size prior to taking the new battery. I'm not the QA department for Battery Warehouse. The manager had a very bad attitude and was not customer oriented. They offered me a replacement with a senior discount which I should have received with the first sale. The service was unacceptable and I requested a full credit. I received terrible service and will not return to this company. I can't recommend this company
They have such a nice selection of batteries and are always so pleasant and helpful. I go there for all my battery needs. Today was for my car remote key. I was surprised the battery was about as big at the key, round and flat. Bought and installed for $4. Can't beat that!
The Belair store I think someone is ripping me off... he wanted to charge me 80 for a $50 and said there were no other options and I called the day before and got 3 different prices..... and the batteries wont last 2 years... they suck
My car battery had died and I gotten a hot shot. But that meant I couldn't turn the engine off or I would need another boost. So with the engine running I called dealers and several repair shops. No one could replace my battery until at least the next day, but I HAD to have an operational car ASAP. Then I recalled that there is a Battery Warehouse near my bank. Out of desperation, I called them and the staff said they had a battery to fit the make, year and model of my car. In fact, it would only take 10 minutes. I drove into the parking lot where they actually replaced the battery in 10 minutes. Wonderful service, delivered as promised. They have batteries for electronic devices as well as vehicles. The inventory appears to be extensive. They're not fancy, but they are efficient.
As soon as I explained to the merchant what I needed he got the battery right away. He was also quite helpful in assisting me in selecting the charger I needed, based on how/when I needed to use it. Excellent customer service, not only to me, but to other customers who were waiting to be assisted.
Great customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Free battery installation was a major plus.
Horrible products. You get what you pay for. I have a new battery that I purchased within the past 6 months that I am returning for the second time. just buy a new name brand one if getting a battery for your vehicle. Why risk being stranded as I currently am once again.
