Went in to buy a few small things, guy at the register didn't let me enter my own phone number for my rewards, used his own email instead. Not the first time he's done it either. I'm sure plenty of other people don't pay attention to things like that, but it's a bad look to steal from your customers. Only reason for two stars is they put the effort in to find my part, which I appreciate.

Amy always takes care of me each time that I have been to this location and she’s so funny. I always come to this location if I need anything for my car. Amy is a good manger and is always on top of things.

My car broke down right by the shop and Will ran out to help when I asked. thank you so much!! thanks to him, me and my passengers made it home safely

Will took care of swapping out my car's battery yesterday and he was a real fun and nice guy to work with! There was another gal in the store that greeted us as well and she was super sweet. Great place to go, everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. 😊

Understaffed. Amazon will deliver faster than you can check out of here. Customers are waiting in line 15 min or more to check out. Used to be great.

The customer service at this Advanced Auto Parts was warm and friendly I wish I would have a name to the guy I remember helping me but he was super friendly the store is clean as a whistle, and I was shown exactly where the product was that I was looking for I was in and out of there within 10 minutes.

Have had two super helpful experiences at this location in the past week. Pleasant people & good service. (And one of the few auto places I have gone as a single woman where nobody talked down to me... just gave actual help.)

Says they don’t offer curbside but I’ve received it in the past at this location I would have picked a different location

Great place to get parts, seem to always have what I need and always there to help with finding what I need. These guys take care of me on the personal and the commercial business side. 👍🏾

Ordered online $100.00 headlights. Went to the store to pick them up online it says they install headlights but they clam they do not. Got home the box of headlights were empty they were closed so couldn't go back that night. So the next morning went in to the store to get a new box. I asked to speak to a manager the women said o he went in the back he will be back. After waiting for 15 minutes, i see a guy at the parts counter I asked if there was a way to let the Manager no I am waiting for him. The guys yells his name he was right there the women never let him know i was there. Man the manager was a real gem... (He was so rude,and nasty) He said the headlights are kept behind the counter and didn't believe me has he huffed and puffed I said well, I ordered them on line and came In And picked them up I çant help employees are dishonest. Then he said you even have the wrong receipt which his employees gave me. He went to another counter briefly looked threw a bin said I can't find your receipt threw receipt on the counter gave me the headlights, I said do you want to make a copy so you have one he said we are not allowed to. The worst customer service I will never go to this location again. People open all boxes before leaving the store.

"I'm doing what I love," is what Will told us as he came out into the blazing hot day to help with our car battery. He was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he also turned our stressful and bad day into a good one. It's people like him who make car issues not so bad. Thank you, Will, and I hope the company acknowledges your greatness!

I entered the store at 2:39pm on Saturday 8/11/23 and purchased $81.45 worth of items. As I was checking for speed perks, the elder white male cashier became impatient and irritated so I paid without using my discount. While making the transaction I looked at his screen and he frantically covered it up and told me to pay attention to the machine to complete the transaction. That was the rudest cashier I’ve ever encountered. I could see if they were busy, but I was the only customer. Cashiers like that can easily cause an altercation with some people and should not be allowed to work with the public. I didn’t mention how he raised his voice in a nasty manner when I asked him to repeat his comments.

Trash store. Battery died literally 10 parking spots from this store and was refused borrowing a jump box or jumper cables with employee in tow because it was "too far". Again mind you I am in the parking lot. 10. Spots. Away. All so they could get the battery sale from me. Or the employees are truly that lazy they didn't want to walk 50 feet. I don't know what ownership is doing to train these employees but that's pretty outrageous

Mike is very well organized. Just wish they could get a better update on their computer systems. It's 2022, who the hell is still using windows 98 format? God the grey window tone with the single cell shadow is so 90s. Advance isn't up to date. Other than that, Mike was wonderful. A real awesome guy.

I came here for a few things and I got what I needed. The prices are high but I guess everyone needs to survive these days. The young employee was very helpful and I got the correct brands that I wanted. Keep up the good work guys!

I used their online system to determine the appropriate headlights for my car before doing curbside pickup, and when we were trying to change the bulbs, we realized that they did not fit (even though their system said they would). Apparently if you open the lights, (and because their system says they should fit, why wouldn't you open them?), they are non-returnable. I used their system to determine the low beam lightbulb I needed, and H11 was what came up. However, after trying to fit it without success, I did more research on my own, only to find that the vehicle takes an H7 bulb for low beams. I went with the H11 because the website noted this was an exact fit for low beam for my car, but H11 is for the fog light, not the low beams. The assistant manager (I believe his name was Michael) at this location was exceptionally rude and condescending, refusing the acknowledge that perhaps their system was wrong and not being able to help me in any way, nor wanting to help in any way. I will happily take my business elsewhere in the future since the staff here can't be bothered with basic customer service and their systems do not identify parts correctly.

They were very helpful and had everything I needed!! I do think AutoZone is a little cheaper, even if it's a few dollars, but who doesn't want to save some coin?? Overall, this location is great!!

Today i was called arrogant and ignorant for insisting that 5/16 coolant line exists. I consistently try to use this store because its local but Jeffery was the final straw. Darryl is the only helpful employee. Edit:Spelling

Growing up I spent time learning basic maintenance of a car. We used to use a local auto parts store but have yet to find a place like that in Baltimore Co. The guys at this Advance are nice, professional and do not make a novice like me feel silly when I don't know the answers to all question about cars! Totally recommend!

The York Road location is not in the best neighborhood, but you could not tell that by the staff. I am always greeted with a warm welcome and given great advice on products and sales items. I never feel like they are trying to up sell me.

After leaving Autozone and not receiving everything that I needed, I visited Advanced Auto Parts. The store was very busy with only 2 employees working and lots of customers. I'm giving them 5 stars because while things were hectic, the staff was kind and courteous to every customer and made sure that everyone was greeted even while being busy with some very demanding customers. I left the store with everything that I needed and also more more knowledge about what I can do with the maintenance of my vehicle. Keep up the excellent customer service!

The staff helped me try to find what I need. They had a small quantity of it "in the back" and I appreciated their looking. I went to a different location myself to find more of this specific viscosity motor oil 20 W 50 and that location did not have it. It would have been helpful to know that ahead of time.

I'd love to know if Advance Auto corporate has ever trained or interviewed with any of the people working here. First off, it takes all of them over 10 minutes to scan you up because they're so uncomfortable with computers/Advanced auto register software, I will point out mistakes on my receipts they need to correct almost every time i'm there. I guess Advance Auto doesn't care about employee knowledge or smarts they just want to hire whoever is cheap enough to work for minimum wage. I kid you not, coming in on a Monday afternoon to have a code scanned on my car, I pulled up next to the curb with my hazards on, 2 steps from the front door. When I asked to have a code read they said "sorry its raining we cant use the scanner when its raining". I informed and showed them my car was 2 steps from the door which was under cover anyways, they did not even need to get their hair wet to get to my car. They stated it was policy and they couldn't do it. I suspect it was either laziness or pure stupidity due to them not knowing how to use a cash register I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know how to use a code scanner. I will not be taking all my business to Autozone, where they hire slightly more competent employees that aren't too lazy to step 2 steps outside

I love Advance. Screw Auto Zone. Advance is helpful. AutoZone screws over their customers by selling things that aren't in stock and not telling you that they aren't in stock. Advance is cool! This place isn't the best stocked store but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Parkville location is where I buy my 99 S10 needs for the last 5 years. The staff is very helpful and professional, cool bunch of guy Most of the staff know me, because I'm in there during the warmer months way more than my wife would like . I like checking on sales and item that have been discontinued. Awesome deals on the discontinued stuff. I also like the speed perk discounts. they add up. Thank you Advance Auto and my truck thanks you.

I had an excellent experience here. It was dark and getting to be bitterly cold, yet Dave still installed my new battery for me with utmost professionalism. I intend on being a repeat customer based on this experience.
