I am here waiting for my car like 2 hours and they are taken there sweet time there are slow and the lord don’t want lord up my car on my truck , they left my car there and i have lord up my by myself and the order don’t care about the customer .
Absolute worst company and definitely worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life! So here’s the deal. Our van was stolen a few weeks ago. It was recovered by IAA Dundalk and stored on their lot til our insurance company could make arrangements via IAA Dundalk to return it to our home. On yesterday (4/28/25) my wife received a call shortly after 9AM that they’d deliver our van to our driveway within the hour. My wife then texted to give me a heads up. I sat in my living room waiting. By 10:48am the van still had not arrived. My wife and I continually corresponded as to he status, but there were no updates. Sometime shortly after 11:30am I happened to look outside to see our vehicle sitting in the middle of our street, roughly 100ft away from our vacant/open driveway. I mean- it was literally just plunked down in the middle of.a busy thoroughfare and there was no tow truck or driver in sight. I first called my wife. She called the driver who claimed he had trouble attempting to maneuver the van around our other car parked near the entrance to our driveway. When we asked why he didn’t knock or call the driver claimed he did knock on the screen door of our enclosed patio but didn’t receive an answer. He says their company instructs them not to enter beyond a customer’s “first” door. He nor anyone from their company attempted to call. I was sitting in my LR with 2 small, active dogs who bark at any unfamiliar sounds. There’s no way I would have missed hearing him knock. And if I am to believe that a reasonable effort was made to contact us, why drop the van off in the middle of the road down the street from our house? A few of our neighbors actually called the police to have it towed, because it was such a weird sight to see our van, all dirty and marked with damage indicators by our insurance company, just sitting there in such vulnerable condition. So now I’m stuck with an unlocked, disabled vehicle which I notice now has a broken front bumper that was apparently torn off during the “drop and run” by IAA Dundalk. The insurance company had previously marked the van with neon pink highlights indicating any damage that occurred during the theft. They also sent pics of all damages prior to it being transported by IAA Dundalk. None of which included damage as significant as a broken front bumper. They were extremely thorough, down to even “eyelash” size scratches. No way they would have missed something as significant as the entire front bumper being torn off. We called the driver’s cell phone, and he was extremely rude. He hung up on my wife twice, so she bridged me to him. As I began to speak he hung up on me as well. Again, rude, disrespectful and dismissive! Let’s face it- none of us expect for tow truck companies to get stellar marks in diplomacy but this went beyond even a basic level of courtesy. No effort was made or solution provided to remedy the situation. We even had our insurance adjuster call, but to no avail. At some point we were informed that IAA Dundalk would send someone back out, but they couldn’t provide an ETA. We never heard from them again. No follow up phone call or text to see if we were good. We ended up having to call a second tow company,. They were prompt, professional and able to pull our van out of the street and deliver it to our driveway with with the utmost courtesy and military precision! Never asked us to move our other vehicle . Please save yourself time and aggravation and DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, do business with this company. IAA Dundalk made an already bad situation a lot worse, and had no qualms at all about leaving us high and dry with a mess that they created. Steer clear!!!
Went in to recover items from my former car and ran into a little trouble with getting into the trunk. An employee named Roger was incredibly helpful with that, I'm lucky he was there because all of his expertise was needed to get the trunk open. Thanks Roger!
Worst place to pick up never worth the hassle. There will be 12 9 cars in the lot and they seem to only ever have 1 loader driver ever. If you got a single car to grab quick go get lunch first and find a movie cause you’re gonna be a few hours to get loaded. Also I go to around 15 Iaa locations on the regular and this one just takes the longest no matter what.
I advise you to stay far away from this location. This company location has issues with telling the truth to the customers ,picking up cars on time, And providing you with factual information. I literally had to take off work two whole days just for them to pick up a car in 10 minutes. I was glad to the first day they were supposed to be here between 8 AM and 12 PM. Never got a call email text or smoke signal nothing! The second day roll around. Oh, we made a mistake. (I know you did.) I’m still waiting around past 12 PM and haven’t heard anything from the tow truck driver or the company. Terrible terrible terrible service. I wishCRAZY RAYS was still in business.
They gave a bew building and while that is good and everything it bothers me that you can't go to one place and have everything done you have to call the 1800 number that makes you stay on hold for a lifetime. 3 persons where in the office and only one person attending to persons the rest just look at you and move on
Bad bad bad the worst iaai placed in the world manager doesn’t respect and they charge extra money loader operator is a lazy and same thing no respect. Really bad
3 times the manager hung up on me from this branch and now they don't answer my call . Bought a trailer and they are making their own rules. They won't let the shipper pick up the trailer . You can't talk to the manager at all what so ever . Been wasting hours on the phone trying to get my trailer picked up . What a joke . Manager didn't like my loud tone. He lied and said I cussed at him and threatened me to block my account then lied and said he wasn't the one who hung up on me twice then proceeded to hang up on me again . What kind of manager is this . Can't help a buyer and threatened them on the phone . You should be ashamed of yourself . Pick the phone up and be a man and solve your buyer issue . What a joke
This has been the worst experience I have ever had with IAA, it’s the first time that I come and pick up a title from this location in Dundalk, if I could give a 0 star I would. I put my husband to pick up a title, he wasn’t able to.. I was in the area so I went by. I’m here asking for the title and they are not giving it to me.. mind you I’m the owner of the f the business. The supervisor is asking me to sign in through a laptop to change the name who’s picking it up. This is so unprofessional, and a waste of time! I’m showing them proof ownership, and they are still not willing to give me the titles of cars that I purchased! The good thing she did was let me borrow a laptop, because you can can only change who’s picking it up by logging in through a laptop, obviously I don’t carry mines around.
If you like to save time and hate disappointment.
Make sure you ask , ask ask again about car description update before you buy.
They will give you fake informations and waist your time.
The office workers are welcoming and fine but that is just the face of the business.
Very fast and friendly service. My daughter's car was totaled and we had to get her belongings from the car. They brought it out within 5 minutes. Plates were already removed so we just had to get them from the front seat.
Make sure you look at the date on the pics before buying. Bought a vehicle from here that was listed with a pic that was a year old. Once I drove 4 hours to pick it up, it looked totally different. Looked like it had been in a flood and parts were missing off of it. Dust not refund money.
Excellent service. Prompt and efficient at the counter. Loaders were helpful. They were busy and I had to wait a while to get loaded but they didn't have a bad attitude and sent and extra man to help load the motorcycle.
I am an auto transporter that frequents to this branch and would like to say that the management, office employees and forklift operators, are all very helpful, always positive and go above and beyond expectations. Much appreciation is deserved.
