I never wanted to make a car payment monthly until I met with Ian T. out at McCarthy Chevrolet in Overland Park. He went above and beyond to show us 6-8 vehicles on a Wednesday night and stayed past closing. We came back the following weekend after thinking about things and purchased a 2020 Dodge Durango from them. I would recommend purchasing a vehicle from Ian out at McCarthy Chevrolet in Overland Park. His customer service is a 10/10 and you can tell he truly cares about his customers.

Will was an absolute patient beast! Helped me learn, understand, teach me, explain everything in detail, etc…! He was the best and he never blew me up like every other dealership would. They were very helpful and straight forward which we loved. Most Dealers falsifie the sale price and then add a bunch of fees and add ons to it which I cant stand when dealers do that. This dealer didn't play any games like that so we will for sure look at buying from them in the future for being upfront and honest.

Vic is not a good salesman I don’t know how he is still there he was nothing but Very bad experience and customer service I have ever gotten sadly I had took my truck in the beginning of September was told they would reach back out to me that following Monday to give me an update on why my check engine light was on it had been over 2 weeks and I hadn’t received no call so I decided to call up there, my truck was covered under warranty actually two Warranty’s and was told I had to wait because of a part delay due to the tariff situation we are facing Nationwide , was not accommodated a vehicle by the dealership nor do the rental service was told I had to pay for everything out-of-pocket, even though I have warranty and any other dealership would obviously accommodate you a vehicle, especially being in a situation where there is a part delay but apparently not down here at McCarthy i was very very dissatisfied with the service almost 4 months later here I am going to pick up my truck from the dealership no courtesy car wash or vacuum was done to my truck. It looks like it has been driven while it was supposed to be sitting in the shop waiting on a park. No incentives were given as well. I am very dissatisfied with the service and I pray and I hope that no one else goes through what I went through because it is very ugly, especially being a loyal and on time payment to Chevy for many years this was a wake up. Call to never want to ever purchase a Chevy Again being that it is my or was my favorite car make

I went to McCarthy Chevrolet last Tues (10-14) not intending to purchase BUT to only look. after Wade got all my info he showed me a car and I test drove it! I loved it trying not to get too excited! He went to the finance dept told Cade what I needed AND wanted. Wade did a great job at explaining everything in detail and I got approved! I am now the proud owner of (new to me) used 2020 Chevy equinox ! Wade, Erik and Cade are all excellent at their job Thank you for a great experience!

I had a great first time experience at McCarthy today and yesterday! The staff was very attentive and were able to get me in the vehicle I wanted a lot sooner than I thought was possible for my unique situation! Levi helped me initially, showed me the vehicle and got me on a test drive but I wanted to sleep on my decision and run it by "the boss" (wifey). Conveniently, McCarthy is open on Sunday so I was able to go in and finish the deal without taking time off of work! Levi was on his day off but Wade picked up the torch and smoothed the process over for me! I was in and out with my New vehicle! Merry Christmas to me!

Vic and team did an excellent job helping me with an emergency coolant pump replacement, primary belt and pulley. Took the truck in as soon as I called, gave me a ride to work, the team drove all over town to get parts, got all the work done, came and picked me up from work, and drove my truck home all in one day. I recently visited McCarthy Chevrolet for a few issues with my vehicle, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. In mid-November, I took my Chevy Bolt in for a tire rotation, to address a clunking sound when braking, and to check on a slow leak in one tire. After a long wait, I was informed that the slow leak couldn't be repaired and that it would cost me over $350 for a new tire. I decided to seek a second opinion and took my car to a tire store where they fixed the leak for under $25—what a huge difference! Additionally, I was told there was a significant wait for brake diagnostics, as they were 1-3 days out and only one technician was qualified to work on my model. But with an appointment, it would be seen on day of appointment. So I scheduled an appointment three weeks later for the brake check. When I returned for the diagnostic appointment, the service check-in staff member inspected my car as if it were a rental and accused me of damage, despite my assurances that I had not been in an accident. To my surprise, I was informed that my car would need to be left overnight for the diagnostic, which could take an indeterminate amount of time—something that was not made clear during my initial appointment. Overall, my experience at McCarthy Chevrolet's service department was frustrating and disappointing. The communication regarding wait times and service capabilities was lacking, and I felt unfairly treated. While I appreciate the necessity of diagnostic work, customer service and transparency should be prioritized. I won’t be returning for future service needs.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my Ford Escape. Tanner was my sales agent and truly made the process smooth from start to finish. I applied on Thursday night, was approved by Friday, and officially purchased the car on Saturday. Since it was a recent trade-in, they took the time to do some final inspections and service before handing it over — and even delivered the car to me on Tuesday. The customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

We purchased a 2022 Wagoneer from the McCarthy Chevrolet Overland Park location and had an excellent experience working with Tanner and Kade. In fact, the entire staff was outstanding. After a very poor experience at the Olathe location 2 years ago, we had decided we would never do business with McCarthy again. However, Tanner and Kade completely changed that for us — because of them, we are now lifetime customers again. We had also viewed this same vehicle at another dealership with a comparable deal, but the professionalism, communication, and overall service from the Overland Park team set them apart and earned our business. Even the team member in training was exceptional and a pleasure to work with. The Overland Park location operates at a completely different level and truly sets the standard for how a dealership should be run. This location is top-tier and stands out in every way. Highly recommend McCarthy Chevrolet Overland Park to anyone shopping for a vehicle.

Vick in the service department went above and beyond with his excellent communication—he kept me updated every step of the way and made sure I understood what was happening with my car. Kamron meet us at the parking lot and his greeting was awesome. He introduced himself…. Listened to my functional requirements and the first SUV shown was “the one”. I got the function, color and price. Kamron’s awesomeness continued in making sure I got a military discount…he moved my car tags, set up apps—- explained all the technology features… had full tank of gas This is just some of the total quality service of Kamron…. I have been buying cars for 40 plus years… this was the best. I also have to give a shout out to Mike with Finance on with how he had all my paperwork for me to initial … sign … and I have the documents on a thumb drive. He was awesome explaining everything. Wade was the absolute best to work with!!! I saw the Buick online and called to make an appointment. When I got a text back about 10 minutes later from Wade with a video of the car and him personally telling me it was on the lot ready to go was a wonderful surprise! He never once pressured me for the purchase and went over every detail, listened to all my questions, and let’s be honest he has a great personality!! Genuinely cares and loves what he does. This dealership is dishonest and I would not recommend them to anyone. When I went to buy my car in November, the price suddenly “dropped” from $27,000 to $23,000 only after I was ready to walk out, definitely shady sales tactics. I was also lied to about a service package, being told it was valid at any Chevy dealership when in reality it was only good at McCarthy locations. It took months of persistence talking to a robot to finally get my refund, and I delayed posting this because I honestly didn’t trust them not to play games. My experience with my salesmen was very pleasant but when it came to dealing with the finance manager it felt very manipulative. I will not return and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

My family worked with Miranda in the past so I originally came in to work with her however, she got a promotion(congratulations!!) and she set me up with Wade! I had nothing but a great experience working with both. Wade was wonderful! He went above and beyond making sure I was happy throughout this experience because let’s be honest buying a car can be very stressful but he made sure I was comfortable and happy with my purchase! Wade even drove all the way to Lawrence just to make sure I got the car that I went in for, and I did! Thank you to you both! I’m so excited to start my new Chevy girl journey- good riddance Ford!

Overall a very good, albeit very long seven hour experience, but with new vehicle negotiations I guess that’s pretty typical of any dealership. The folks at McCarthy were very friendly and professional (shoutout Kamron) and I didn’t feel overly pressured, even when it came time for the extended warranty talk. Only one small gripe - Bought the truck on a Saturday and was told with customization work being done that the truck should be available to pick up on Tuesday, and maybe even Monday if the wheels/tires came in early, which is what I told the person that loaned me a car to use in the meantime… Truck wasn’t ready until Friday. That was kind of a bummer and I would’ve appreciated someone touching base with me daily to give a status report, or just telling me up front that it could be as late as Friday. But yeah, this is my second purchase from McCarthy and would purchase from there again.

Little preface, I live about 2 hours away from this facility but oh my goodness was it worth the travel. I had the absolute pleasure of purchasing a brand new 2025 Chevy Trax. I couldn’t have done it without Alan Gallegos and his team. Every step of the way was efficient. Due to me not needing to purchase a vehicle in the past 6 years I was unprepared and didn’t have some paperwork. That didn’t stop Alan and his team though. They continued the process in a timely manner, my unpreparedness included, and got me the car I’ve been wanting the same day. Now other people must have heard about Alan because he was busy assisting other customers too. Did I notice? BARELY! When he was with us it was as if we were the only customers there. He was incredibly friendly, didn’t push on any different makes or models, allowed me to browse the different vehicles, and if he didn’t have an answer, he found the answer in a timely manner. He focused on my purchase and when he left to assist others he made sure we were taken care of and other members of his team helped us with paperwork, financial side. I am incredibly grateful for the job they did and if, god forbid, I need another vehicle I will absolutely make the trip back.
