April 22nd was the worst day of my life.You imagine being homeless and trying to make it while parking at Humillity of Mary Homes parking ( parking was authorized by staff and security) and have your car and all your belonging taken away by order of the institution that was supposed to help you just because you find another place to live. Then comeS JBA which whom i approched to see how i can get my car back. I told them about my situation and my resolve to get the car back. They agreed to give me time given the situation i was in.
I kept communication with them up to the day i was ready to go get the xar, they claimed that the owner came and claimed the vehicle. At that point i put my councelor on the phone. They told us that JACK'S AUTO SALE was the claimer.
We called them right away but they told us that they never heard of that car.
Two weeks later, my Boss an i drove there and sure enough my car was there hidden behind the building. Furthering our research we found out that the towing company and Jack's auto sale are the same company!
Therefore they lied and have technically stole my car. The police does not want to help and i was forced to hire a lawyer.
While we are compiling all the proof we need, i am asking anybody that was scamed by this company and or by Humillity of Mary to post their experiences.
Their is a sxam going on.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Refused to jump my car saying they needed a mechanic to jump it then refused to tow it too and the lady at dispatch was extremely rude on the phone, hanging up on me and telling me I was banned when I asked to speak to a manager about the issues
EDIT to responded to their response: that IS the whole story. Horrendous customer service, literally provided 0 help. From what I’m seeing in these reviews, this business also doesn’t take any accountability either, big surprise
Terrible service!!!! Called there looking for a receipt for a tow and the dispatcher was rude and defensive. Every time I gave them information that was asked for I needed different information. After I started pushing back she hung up on me!!! Imagine a tow company that cant look up a tow by last name, first name, amount paid or vehicle???? What a joke....
Horrible service, horrible communication, and cancel when they please, but they still accept jobs. Not only do they cancel, but they don’t bother to let you know that they will be a no-show. Didn’t earn the one star, but that’s the only way I could post
This company is a nightmare. Not recommended at all. I got a flat tire at 10 PM in the middle of nowhere and they sent someone that didn’t know how to tow a Tesla car. They told me they could send someone next day at 7am. I called at 7:15 am to get an update, and they told me they sent a person to tow my car. After waiting for two hours I called back again and they said that they cancelled the towing truck, with no reason at all.
My dog and I are still waiting in the middle of nowhere running out of water for us since last night.
Careful where you park! These scammers will tow you in a lot without proper signage posted, not notify the police they are taking it and then ruthlessly charge $450 for pick up less than 8 hours later.
Edit: DEFINITELY NOT MARKED PRIVATE PROPERTY SCAMMERS. Also, showed receipt to a lawful tow company and they laughed you charge for your own gate and the fact you charged a dolly fee for a flatbed.
Called for a tow from rock island to east mo....for starters, cheapest price. I love the tracking link they send to see where the tow truck is in route to you. Driver called within 10 mins of call to dispatch. He had asked details and we agreed that a flatbed would be needed. Minutes after this discussion they had a flat bed in route. Total time from call to vehicle being dropped at destination, less than an hour. Very impressed and pleased with service.
Woman that answered the phone just said "Hello". Wasn't sure I had the right number. Asked about how much it was for a snow tow and she simply just said we don't have any drivers right now. I understand the lack of drivers but the customer service was very flat.
First off, I would like to commend this company on the competitive prices they have! Secondly, Glen is a great driver! He went above and beyond for us! Without him and his knowledge, my Jeep would still be stranded over in IA broken tie rods and all! Thanks, Glen!

Their service was easy, fast, friendly and most of all I like to learn so the service guy actually let me watch and explained how to replace the battery in case I ever get stuck in a situation like this again alone! Literally just saved my little blue Suzuki from being stranded at Starbucks lol (generic Gen-Z, I know)
But the driver was actually very informative at answering my questions regarding how the tow truck worked and it's physical strain on my car, while also being the cheapest quote I could find from Bettendorf to LeClaire. As we had a starter solenoid die on us and couldn't get the engine to crank, even long enough to get home. All is good now though and thanks to them we're back at our tools and can get to work on the repair
We have have had two experiences with JBA, both negative. They damaged our car when trying to unlock the doors. They couldn’t get it unlocked but reported to AAA that they had. The employees were not the least bit friendly, helpful, or accommodating. One of their drivers tried to make us leave our kids behind while we followed him to a different lot because he said kids are not allowed.
Had a somewhat unique towing situation. The dispatch people spent time with us to understand exactly what we were in need of. They determined what type of truck was needed for the situation. The driver, Eric, did an excellent job helping us get the car ready to be towed. Not knowing initially whether we'd be able to get the car towed or not was a little nerve-racking, but the people at Jack's were great as was the driver, Eric. Thank you!!!! I'd use them again without hesitation.
I have never had a good tow truck experience. Until a few days ago. I ordered a tow through AAA and JBA was quick to respond. Mike was our tow truck driver. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. He is a jack of all trades and it was very nice to finally have a positive tow truck experience. I would recommend JBA and specifically Mike for any tow or really any car related needs. I would give JBA and Mike 10^10 ⭐ if I could. But alas, I can only give 5/5. Thank you Mike and JBA for helping my partner and I out of a tough spot!
I called AAA for locked out service and in less than 10 minutes Terrill was there! This was by far the best response time in my 19 years with AAA. Terrill was very friendly and polite. Within 5 minutes Terrill had my vehicle unlocked and we were both on the road! I don't normally brag about someone breaking into my vehicle but Terrill made it look way to easy LOL! I highly recommend Terrill and JBA Towing.

Terrill arrived within five minutes after I called AAA! No kidding, I don’t write reviews. As a matter of fact this is my first one. But Terrill is worth it! He was polite and very kind. He had the tire changed and the spare put back on the back gate & done in 20 minutes. I would recommend Terrill to anyone.
And of course I needed to get somewhere, and I still was able to keep my appointment! That is unheard of these days, Service like that.
So thanks to Terrill, my birthday weekend is a go! I now have JBA Towing in my phone.
I unfortunately ran over some nails and needed a tire change after work. Terrill was SO quick to get to my location (literally 15 minutes!) and was extremely friendly and helpful. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars, but Terrill let me know exactly what I needed to do and where I should go to get new tires. I was quite upset when I found out that my tires were likely beyond repair, but Terrill was so friendly and uplifting to talk to that it made me feel WAY better! I HIGHLY recommend their service!!
Having my car break down is never fun, but the driver- Mike - was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. He made a bad situation brighter. He arrived quickly and handled everything like a true pro!
Mike was a bright spot in an otherwise bad situation! We broke down on 88 westbound in the middle of the night, and when he arrived he was friendly, good-natured, and competent. He loaded up my car quickly while we sat in the truck cab. He towed us to the auto shop recommended by AAA, but when it turned out to be closed until Monday he was helpful with finding us alternatives.
We ended up using him again the next morning to tow the car to a different shop open on the weekends and he provided the exact same experience during that interaction as well. He was transparent and communicative the entirety of both tows.
I highly recommend him for anyone who needs a tow in the Quad Cities area!

JBA did save the day! Thanks to Jaime who took my call and Brice who was there just twenty minutes later to change my flat tire on the interstate. They were both very helpful and I was amazed at how quickly I was back on the road again. I am so grateful and appreciate this business!
Jeremy arrived fast and knew how to get the job done. He had a very friendly manner and made the ordeal a lot easier than I thought it would be. While I was waiting, my battery died and he helped with that too, with a friendly smile.

Amazing team! Our car eventually started, but before I could call and cancel the towing order the driver already arrived. He was very professional and very nice and I felt so bad for him to come all the way out but he was very understanding. Next time I have a incident and breakdown I will not without hesitation call these guys! Highly Recommended
Very fast a little to fast In my case, said 2 hours. They were there in an hour. they did call me 10 Mims before they got there tho. It was a very fair and competitive price. Very nice new well maintained trucks. People were very friendly to deal with. Prepaid over the phone. I would recommend them and I would use them again.
