The weigh-in/weigh-out for steel was kinda handy. But…
Pretty disorganized flow of traffic; prices not posted or provided ahead of time and wouldn’t provide them or the classifications when I asked; wouldn’t separate the grades of steel; gave me #2 copper price for bare brite (at least I didn’t have much of it); don’t take 400 series stainless mufflers there.
And you can’t see the scale readings so you have to trust them not to make math errors I guess.
But at least they’re open on Saturdays.
I’ve been to Midwest a lot. I scrap out some lead, lots of brass shells & copper bullet jackets. Very friendly staff. Answered all my question. You can buy just about anything you want there to. Great place

This is the second time two years that I have called this particular scrap yard and they offered me a price on scrap that is way below what it should be. For instance scrap vehicles are going for 250 a gross ton and Lady tells me 120??? Call me crazy but that is one hell of a difference and I will not attempt business here again. Just my opinion and if you decide that you're okay getting paid 50% of the value why don't you bring it to me for 75% of the value and I'll cash in.
I would give more stars but I ran out at 5 stars. They are the best place that will give you the most for your scrap. Ever since I been taking my scrap there I have not once been disrespected I was treated with the utmost respect from all of their employees from the yard to the metal room to the office all respectful and honest.
Best scrap yard in the area. Best prices and the people that work there are very nice and willing to help you. Great service. I definitely recommend taking your scrap here. I'll definitely be hauling my stuff there in the future
bad business they lied about price..! and they have a transporter give out different prices that they never told me about..! definitely no more business with this place the owner or manager was rude …!

Best place I have found in the area to recycle your your old scrap. The people in receiving are very nice. It is set up very efficiently to get you in and out quickly. Good people fair prices.r 30
