Chad was awesome. I had a car that was in storage and wouldn't start. Ground clearance was an issue. He brought racing ramps and loaded the car and took to my house. Backed the truck up on the driveway. Unloaded. Perfect job! Well done Chad.
177.62 for the tow which is already stupid high...but I had to pay cash to the driver who claimed his tow app wasn't working and so couldn't give me a receipt or take plastic...promised I would get a receipt in an email from the office for my insurance reimbursement...nothing...I reminded him...still nothing...never again
Scott gave us a tow and he was a pro. He had a sense of humor, helped us out with his knowledge on vehicles and just truly spectacular with his job. Definitely would want him again if we need another tow. Thanks Scott

Fast and friendly service! Kenny was awesome to work with. We had a gas tank strap break on our truck. After he loaded our truck on his, he secured the gas tank with a ratchet strap. Thank you for taking care of our truck. It's very much appreciated!
Worst service I have ever experienced!!! They didn't answer their phone either when I called or my insurance called later. When I did talk to a person she was rude and tried to say something about an email, and that they couldn't provide the service. I waited for over an hour in the freezing cold until my insurance agent finally sent out an order for another tow truck. I will not be using this service again and I will tell everyone I know about the terrible service I got!!
Worst services EVER! Broke a part on my vehicle and won’t take responsibility for the damages. I will warn everyone I know and anyone thinking about using their services on the internet about my horrible experience. If you thinking of using them DONT! Look elsewhere.
2am call. Guy showed up bout 2:25am, checked the flat tire to see if it’d hold air(bad tire), filled the donut spare, had us gone in 20 minutes. Ty!! Guy was super nice.
Action towing has helped me out on several occasions when I was in a bind and needed towed. They were prompt and affordable! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my towing needs!
So far so good. Did not know they do mechanical work i have a dedicated transmission shop i use but was in a bind as my vehicle started having major problems could not tell if it was transmission or motor. Limped it to there shop and in a few hours upon leaving got a call with diagnostic and it was motor and estimate was around 12 to 15 hundred bad ecu basically fresh plugs coils and wires and an ecu from there supplier was needed work has begun same day dec 9th so far efficiency customer service has been superb as far as craftsmanship proper materials used once it's done i will update so far these guys get er done Dec 16 progress was made worked the weekend to get new parts installed was a wait for parts. Had slight hiccup stalling after test drive issue was resolved another issue arose and needed a new fuel injector. Not charging labor for injector and offered a ride to shop to get vehicle once injectors installed. They have went above and beyond to get my vehicle back to road worthy if not for lean times they would get more than they charged me honesty integrity and character still matter to some shops and people. Will update again if anything comes up which I'm confident and hopeful nothing will.
Tride to sell me a Harley-Davidson trike and said it was very nice and they would have it all washed .I drove from Minnesota with a rented trailer. I got there it was in back not washed .it is leaking oil and garbage in the trunk oil and battery light on. They took it off face book so I wouldn't leave a bad review. Beware of these guys
After a long day of bad luck dealing with a car that had a wheel bearing break and had no way of putting a tire back on. After dealing with one tow company that backed out on us last minute and told us they couldn't do anything about it, Action Towing made it right and saved the day. He had the best customer service, wanted to make sure I was taken care of, made sure to keep me informed of every step of the process, showed up very quickly even at 10pm. Highly recommend going through them for any towing needs or roadside assistance. Thank you again for saving the day!
Towing yep I recommend, but they pulled my transmission and had it rebuilt put it back. They left off the skid plate missed the flex plate that was bent and adapter plate cracked. 3 trips because it wasn't fixed I took it to the shop that fixed the transmission and it's been gone through again. It cost me a lot of down time and money.
Terrible service they dropped the vehicle off a didn’t bother to use common sense and park it straight instead they took up two parking spots parking sideways when it would have been easier to park it straight in a uniform fashion next to the other cars in the lot and to top it off the driver just left the keys under the floor mat instead of bringing them in like other reputable companies do or if we where closed the drop box is a perfectly fine option that way the customers car can be locked and secured. These people need to do better
My elderly father was on a cross-country trip. His car broke down and AAA sent this shop out to tow him.
They were very professional with my dad (who is a bit eccentric), and were able to fix the car very quickly. They recognized the tight deadline my dad faced for a time critical commitment he had in the next state.
They were very transparent on the work they would do, and they were true to their cost estimate. That meant a lot to us.

While broke down in Sterling Il, AAA couldn’t find anyone local. After 4 phone calls and talking to AAA management, they sent out Action Towing all the way from Davenport. Although I do not remember the operators name, he was very friendly,helpful and a true professional at his trade. He was there when he said he was going to be there and easy to work with!

Had AAA tow my car from my house to a shop in Clinton and they sent Action Towing to pick it up. Dave was great, used soft straps to load the car and was very professional, really appreciate the care.
Had to call roadside assistance for a VERY flat tire along the interstate. I was so scared to be sitting along the highway. I had never had a flat tire before and to top it off along the interstate! They dispatched Dave from Action Towing and he was phenominal. He was caring, quick and made me feel safe and taken care of. For being a single woman along the interstate I was in great great hands and would recommend Dave and Action towing any any time! Thank you so much Dave!
Had to use AAA to get back into my running vehicle. Chad from Action Towing got the call and within seconds he had messaged me and gotten the pertinent info. He was on site in ten minutes and had me back on my way. If this is the service I can expect moving forward, they have a customer (and recommendations) for life.
Extremely nice and professional! Was in the need of a tow from the airport after the blizzard. When all the other companies were busy and extremely rude on the phone even , this company answered and came a couple hours later . Turned out that they had a more powerful way of jumping the car and we were able to drive it home . They were affordable and the driver was VERY FRIENDLY!
I have never gotten help like I did from Brandon when I was stuck in the half-melted, two-feet of snow slush in my back alleyway tonight. He got me out in minutes by knowing how to direct me with the car and pushing at both ends, letting me know that if we weren't able to do it manually he would use his truck. I woke up to a flat tire and when I called another tow company they sent a truck with no air. Action Towing came quickly, was so professional, and friendly. I was so so so happy with my service. If I ever need their services again I will be calling them!!

Action Auto gave us the best service! They went above and beyond the bounds of normal expectation for good service. We were towing a trailer and the tow vehicle had a wheel bearing go bad on a Saturday night. They came out and towed both the trailer and the vehicle. We original had planed to go to a different repair shop but when we found out that Action Auto also did repairs and that they had a secure area for our trailer we were thrilled to use them for our repairs also.
We are in their debt for the repairs. They had a mechan come in on a Sunday to fix the bearing. So instead of waiting in a hotel until Monday or Tues we had our truck back on Sunday night! They did good solid work for a fair price. Their tow truck drivers were kind and friendly. I would like to thank Jared and Chad specifically. Chad came in to tow the trail on his day off. Jared was close to the end of a long shift and still offered to drop us off at a hotel. Everyone worked so hard for us. I wish I could recommend them to everyone. As a woman meeting strangers late at night, I truly appreciate these guys. Thank you all.
the young man was very respectful, much humbleness we chatted for quick ten min talking bout our own cars carried a great convo five star to the driver and the company please give this young man a raise great job guys this will be my tow company form here on out much recommended!!
